Story is really good, acting is really good, editing seems well done and the pace is good, but souch od the movie is an apparently black screen with dialogue it is frustrating at times to watch. It's nothing to do with settings on the TV or laptop, they've simply made the picture so dark you cannot tell what is going on in many scenes. Maybe that is meant as a way to put you in the characters shoes? Surely not or the kill rate would be lower...
However I did appreciate that this shows an aspect of warfare little touches on up to now: use of civilians to do what the officials don't want to get caught doing,.and the infighting in the British government.

Anyone who has ridden a horse would see most of the things this character does are dangerous and irresponsible. The continual risking of other people's lives and / or bodily integrity makes a viewer want to throttle Lucky, but; what is worse is children might watch and not understand you cannot treat wild animals this way.
I suppose the idea is that children watching should be old enough to understand it is just a cartoon? Not so sure, given Lucky has zero understanding of the danger she puts everyone around her in and never takes any responsibility for anything whatsoever.
The original spirit movie might have been sad but it was at least more realistic despite a talking horse.

I cannot believe anyone would dare to pretend otherwise? The main characters are carbon copies and the major plot themes and dynamics are as well. The only differentiation is the Dina character hates her manager rather than adores him and the Americanisation of some character beliefs / switch to a big box.
It is indeed funny and the characters evolve in their own ways but I dislike the disingenuousness of the "creators" pretending it is original.
