The Consultant
(2023)

Waltz made me watch it to the end.
Saw the Trailer and got really curious, I love when Waltz performs and like it when he plays the bad guy.

With every episode I got more and more questions, what is Waltz? Where is he from, how could this all happen from start to the end? Is he a modern Jesus? This story plays in a human world, but with mystic, paranormale things happen, and references I really don't understand, felt more like a novel where you left most story parts. Like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings or Matrix and so on, where you start with the last part.

I don't want to spoiler, but the partyroom the next day, the russian girl, the fiancee, the gold smith, sangs mother, the last scene with craig in the kitchen, level 316 and the tester and I could ask 10 more things, that made no sense for me...

Reminds me of those Art House Movies, where you have to be deep into the Themes, so that you get all those genius references otherwise it's just a waste of time.

And don't tell me to read the novels to get me those questions answered. There was nothing to hook me up, I'm just pissed that I wasted my time.

La noche más larga
(2022)

In the age of Smartphones...
This series would be so much better with a different timeline. 5* is still too high but its just not that worse. There are so many plotholes so many wtf moments... and the ending. Doesn't series get reviewed before they are greenlit nowadays?

Vampire in the Garden
(2022)

Short, good and a great soundtrack
The first thing that really hooked me up was the Soundtrack, almost every scene had music that felt so fitting. The next thing was Fines german voice actress, a calm, gentle, grown and smooth voice that was a pleasure to my ears. The best thing was, that it only had 5 episodes, the whole Story got told and that was a good a thing. The Story is nothing new 2 different races befriend them against all odds. A Story told many Times but I liked the setting and even though I'm not into vampires I really enjoyed it and the Story didn't feels rushed. More Drama would only to the worse.

Home
(2020)

Not my Kind of movie.
I just don't like those slice of life drama movies, they are boring and never add anything new. Here something felt different I really loved how the movie started and how it ended. If that was a korean movie people would love it. In this movie nothing good happens. You have a guy returning home and from the beginning to the end, you like him and you root for him, there has to be a meaning for what he did... but in the end its just life that happened. I really enjoyed the movie Soundtrack and the cast were perfect, especially jayden he always felt like the Angel sitting on your shoulder with the right words.

Bite
(2015)

Ah great a new Zombie movie
That was my first thought and then I thought oh a pov zombie movie - great. But actually its an insect movie. I have seen so many movies but this one felt new. It was a really good comedy horror movie. The acting was good the music was good the makeup is great. I was glued to the TV too see what happenes next.

Panic
(2021)

Was pretty good
The Story was intresting, the charackters likeable and the Story fast paced. Even though every Episode is over 40 minutes they didnt felt that long. I liked how it all developed and how it ended. It is a good watch, that doesnt need a second season. Only thing that bothered me really was, when they reffered to themselves as teens. The whole cast looks like they are in their 30s. That really threw me off many times. But still it was a fun watch to kill time.

The Wilds
(2020)

Its ok.
Not the worst but also not the best. At first I didn't want to watch it, I thought it would be about teen girls sitting around a fire and talking about teen girl Problems and doing stupid decisions to survive. And yeah that sums it up, thats about it. I'll def watch season 2 and I hope that it'll speed up Story wise, I cant see how all the plotholes will be fixed and how it'll end but I'm still curious and will keep on watching. But I'm also not the targeted group european white male 30+.

Oki actually it got worse with season 2... more plotholes but ironically I'm going to watch season 3.

Bloody Hell
(2020)

Oh that was surprisingly good
First Ben O'Tool did an awesome job, he really carried this movie. Its hard to write a review without spoilers. Its a comedy horror thats really messed up but not in a bad way! I personally didn't laugh but was really entertained, it was fast paced with some great absurd Moments. Golf Club for example and... nah no spoilers.

Outer Range
(2022)

6 episodes is enough for me.
Josh Brolin kept me watching, also the mystery about the hole and the Mix with sci-fi. Its beautiful shot but my Problem is, that in every episode only 1-2 Minutes something happens and thats not enough to keep me watching till the end. Those 6 episodes would have perfectly fitted into 3 episodes so far. Too man scenes and dialogues that stretched every episode. But I'll def watch the last Episode when it's out.

Diabolical
(2022)

Seen it before.
I love the Boys but this series was just meh. I kinda enjoy that it has so many references to the universe of the Boys. But most of it felt like I have seen it before. Episode 5 was the worst, how does a living Poop adds anything to the universe? It felt like love death robots. Different styles and artworks for every episode packed in a short Story, all very unique. It is not a Bad watch but i'm just not satisfied.

The Bubble
(2022)

The actual Rating was to be expected
That movie was bad and trashy but still it was fun and some lines really got me, I felt very weil entertained. I didn't know what this movie was about, just read the Netflix description and started it. Didnt know it was about corvid and the new social medias and thats why I had so much fun with this movie. One Person got corvid and everyone has to go into quarantine, even though all are fine. You got the flu? Be glad its not corvid, the Show must go on. Thats how the last 2 years felt for me and thats why the movie was entertaining for me. You have some unbelievable clever dialogues, that really made me burst in laughter but also your flat Penis and Drug jokes. The movie really has a lot of ups and downs. But you know every decade the Humor changes. First i loved monthy phyton, then the naked gun, then it was scary movie, it followed by Hangover and project X and so on. I think the that ratings under 4 arent fair for this movie.

Ousama Ranking
(2021)

I gave it a Chance.
After 5 Episodes I had to stop. I tried to see all the strong points but the truth to be told is that i cant identify with a disabled Main charackter. His shadow friend, the Queen, the twin head snake they all couldnt change my opinion to stop.

Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi
(2022)

No cheap comedy
I saw the Trailer and my reaction was meh. The animations looked cheap and it felt like a light comedy with cheap jokes.

So I gave it a shot, I was in the mood for light comedy. The Story is about a 4 year old that lives alone and befriend his neighbours, he acts like a grown up, so far sounds nothing special.

But here comes what surprised me. It's a Drama series, heart warming, serious topics, a boy that is just a boy that had to grow up fast and how he influences all around him.

This series really hit a nerve on me, i was blown away, how the Story was told, i watched every episode with a big fat smile on my face, so many sad and serious topics, seen from different angles that made me almost cry.

Kotaro is such a sweet charackter and would never have thought that i would like this kind of series.

The german dub is perfect, only 10 episodes and I liked it even though my most waited series is The Boys season 3.

Chikyûgai-shônen-shôjo
(2022)

I didn't like it.
Soundtrack, animation, ger dub, Story everything is more than just good. But the best was for me the end i loved it. The idea behind the ai, seven and the second try what is best for humans, I loved it, can't remember something similiar and I'm a Sci-fi lover. But still there were so many things that bothered me, nasa, the limiter, the social Media part and the p2p connection. A 7* Rating is kinda high but for 6 Episodes and the quality it is fair.

Copshop
(2021)

Fast paced action movie
Not worth a long review but i really enjoyed this movie, it was fast paced with intrestening charackters. I would have rated it 7* but the end of the movie and the missing one liners that are memorable Grade it Down for me.

Super Crooks
(2021)

Its good.
I had a hard time to get used to the animation, they are really good but not my taste. The Story is intresting and since the Boys I really enjoy Shows that draw a thin Line between good and bad heroes. First i wanted to quit after the first episode but I got my own rule never judge before you finished episode 3. The Story is fun, the crooks are fun and Glad i watched it till the end. Only thing beside the animation style that bothered me was the Soundtrack. Music is the most important factor for me. Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bepop had music that i don't listen too, music that is just noise for me but I loved both Soundtracks, they are fantastic. But this one... 1 / 10 for that horrible music that only fit once, when the Brothers Made their Red button Run.

Tokyo Revengers
(2021)

Its ok.
The anime is just ok , the german dub is really good especially kenny. He was worth the watch. Could get into more detail, but this anime isnt worth it. Ill read the manga instead.

Along Came a Spider
(2001)

20 years later...
Just watched that movie because Morgen Freeman (watch almost everything he is in) is in it and it was released on Netflix.

The movie is good, the acting is great but the music and Sound effects are so lame for 2021.

When you see it too late like me, it feels like a cliche psycho Thriller, nothing special but still a good rainy day movie.

Arcane: League of Legends
(2021)

Piece of Art.
I actually didn't want to watch it, but a friend of mine saw the first 3 Episodes and told me it is a must watch and we have a similiar taste.

I really don't like CellShading animations, they always look cheap and slow. Lol? Played it 10 years ago but got too old for Moba Games. I also don't like Steampunk.

Fk all that. This are the best animations I have seen to Date, so many Details absolutly stunning scenarie and all animations are fluent. Attack on Titans, Akira, FullMetal Alchemist, Death Note, Neon Genesis, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bepop they all had something new and refreshing. And this is on par with them.

The Music, the german voice over, the Sound, the Story pace, the Camera work, the cutting it all fits so well, I would never have guessed that this will be a piece of Art.

Saw Episode 6 and so far a Rating lower than 7 wouldn't do this series justice.

The Hateful Eight
(2015)

It got better.
Watched it back then in theaters I loved it, it was an 8*. Watched it again in 2021 and now it was almost a 10. The acting, the dialogues, the actors, the camera work just everything felt so well put together. Love that this movie is not an Action or a Western or Drama or a comedy... its just a movie Genre of its own.

Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood
(2019)

What if...
How would be the Rating without Tarantinos Name? My favourite Tarantino is still Reservoir dogs and he made so many great movies but this one was my personal worst I tried so hard but this one was not to my liking.

Final Space
(2018)

Season 1
Its now the fourth time I watch season one. Its a masterpiece. The animations, how the Story unfold, the german Dub, the Soundtrack, everything just makes me feel good but the second season... i have so much praise for s1 but s2 was such a let Down... i told all my friends to watch s1 and they loved it.

Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn
(2020)

Forgettable
I really tried to like this movie, the charakter Harley Quinn is fun and Margot Robbie is perfect for the role. So it should be a great combo so what was this movie missing? For me it was the Bad guy. He was just boring and that killed the movie for me.

Taking Lives
(2004)

Great cast - weak Story
The title says it already. The movie wasn't bad just cuz of its cast I watched it but when you know who is the Killer right from the start, then the movie falls apart.

Xtremo
(2021)

Plotholes... so many.
Its not a movie i would recommend to friends but still its a solid action movie and good to see once. What really bothered me were those many wtf moments, when I asked myself why? And how?
