Beautiful
This was an amazing story with an outstanding storyline and cast. All storylines perfectly balanced and interweaved smoothly. There were no cliffhangers or unanswered storylines.

Characters were well developed and interesting. The trials and tribulations that the characters experienced during their journey were felt. You sympathized and cried with some, feeling their sorrow through there great acting. The cast was perfectly picked for their respective roles.

Truly a masterpiece. The story kept you intrigued, to the point where you wanted more. The premise was great. The acting phenomenal, the cinematography beautiful, and most of all a well executed happy ending.

Good not the Best
I loved the premise and King Yi! Loved all the cast members acting except Hee-Soo. I believe her acting was sub par and it kind of ruined it for me. I saw her acting in Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 , where I also saw her acting and it was ok.

The dressing up as a man and no one can tell she is a women even with lip gloss on was ridiculous and laughable. And to believe no one recognized her/him after 3 years is hard to believe. He was a famous unbeatable Bakdu player three years before he was sent away, and comes back three years later with the same clothes on and looks EXACTLY the same. So silly. That was poorly executed.

It's sad because I really enjoyed the king relationship with everyone, especially his dealing with the political aspect of the show. It had a great premise. However, the FL acting ability and the dressing up as a man when clearly you can tell it's a women really ruined it for me.

It would have been better if they were able to execute the dressing up as a man differently and a different FL was cast.

Great Series
I didn't know what to expect , since I'm not really into baseball or Sports. But wow I was surprised. The series was really interesting and captivating. I couldn't wait for the next episode. The struggles and issues that needed to be resolved were very entertaining. I really like how the issues were overcome. Loved how everyone began to work together to get to a common goal.

The writing was really good. The characters were perfect. We got to see there ups and downs and although confronted with situations that seemed lost, they preserved.

This was a great series. Don't be dissuade by it being a sports series, because it is more than that.

Almost a perfect drama
Although Gil Chai and Jung Hyun got a great ending, there were many other plot lines that were remained with questions. Why was Ryang Eum imprisoned. He was there for at least a decade. What caused his silver hair. Did they ever meet again? What happened to the Crown Prince sons? Who took over aver King Ijoon, after his death. Ughhh! So many questions left unanswered. This series could have had another episode or two to nicely give it a smooth ending. The last episode was extremely rushed. With too many loose ends. That was very disappointing for me since this series was so full of political intrigue and love.
