I have grown to like Tarek with Heather together! At first, it was hard for me to picture him without Christina, but that was a "good" while ago.
I DO NOT want to see couples fighting. Watching fights makes me feel negative emotions. I don't need that. If I wanted that, I would watch the "Housewives" shows. I'm glad that Tarek and Heather are not continually having disagreements.
Frankly, I think many people are feeling so "cranky and jealous" of others nowadays until they can't be happy for people who have joy. It's terrible!
I know California well. I love the state. My favorite. I love the homes and the beach areas. So, I am generally going to watch just about any house flipping program that features California.
Wow! Tarek and Heather have both "upped" their games! Heather knows more than I thought she knew. Heather is also looking so "polished and classy" now. You'd think she was a member of the Kardashian clan. Lol. I like to see women like her who take care of themselves, especially for TV. Heather really looks lovely!
My only problem with Tarek is I wish he would not get Botox injections in his forehead. Sure, it removes wrinkles, but it makes his eyes look too "intense and harsh" like a fixed angry glare... and he's not even angry.
So far, I like what Tarek and Heather are doing together, and I wish them great success in this new year. They make the homes they flip look beautiful, and I like that the homes are more upscale. So, kudos!

This may be my third review of "Girl Meets Farm." I like my reviews to be recent for programs that are still on air.
Like many folks, I've probably watched every cooking show on the "Food Network," and I have loved most of them. But now I am getting older, and I follow a very strict diet to preserve my health and prevent myself from becoming overweight. So, I generally do not cook the kind of meals that are featured on Food Network shows.
I watch "Girl Meets Farm" nearly every weekend. There are things about Molly Yeh's show that "draw me" to her. I'm usually exercising in my home when she comes on. I have never made her dishes, but when I watch her cook, I want to "reach through the television" and taste her food. There is no other show that makes me feel that way.
What I have noticed about "Girl Meets Farm" is that first of all, Molly Yeh really makes me feel good. She has a beautiful, positive spirit. She cooks in a tiny, colorful kitchen that has great lighting. Everything looks so clean, bright, inviting and warm. She is also well-groomed and neat. I like that. She's so fresh-faced and I love her smiles. She is also not loud. Her tone of voice is quite comforting.
Another major thing I've noticed about "Girl Meets Farm" is the camera work. The closeups of her food make a huge difference. When Molly cooks, she does everything in a calm, peaceful manner. She doesn't make fast movements or rush, especially with her hands. The camera "ever so slowly" zooms in super closely and you can catch every detail and every color of her food and imagine the deliciousness.
For me, there is something "special" about Molly Yeh.

A few years ago, I tried to watch "Married to Real Estate," and was put off because Mike and Egypt must have been told (by the producers) to get in front of the cameras and show how "in love" they are with each other and be a good example of a beautiful, successful, wealthy, married black couple. Mike and Egypt were then flirting with each other and revealing more details about their family and personal lives.
I didn't like it, because it felt "too forced" and I think people are somewhat uncomfortable with all the displays of affection. However, I think most people also don't want to see a lot of fights and negativity. We want to feel good when watching these types of programs.
Anyway, I gave this show a break, but then recently began watching it again. I now think it is one of the BEST programs on TV.
I used to be such a fan of Egypt years ago when she was on "Property Virgins." Egypt is a DYNAMO! She seems so smart, capable and strong. But she is not off-putting. She's just that type of person who seems to have the answers and confidence in whatever she sets her mind to. I love to see women like Egypt. She is poised and mature. She is at ease with people. She seems like someone who is rarely intimidated, and I think she is great!
Egypt's husband Mike seems like the absolute perfect match for her. He's a little more easy-going, but he is also so capable and confident in his work. Egypt is assertive/aggressive, but Mike has the perfect energy to match her. You can see they love and respect each other. Plus, they both have a sense of humor, and I believe that is good for any marriage.
It is wonderful to see a beautiful married couple like Mike and Egypt working together and building their business. I love their family and their values.
There are only a "few" designers on TV that I would trust to remodel my home. Mike and Egypt could help me any day. They do beautiful work. I would certainly hire them if I could.
I believe "Married to Real Estate" is a great show and I will continue to watch it.
