Assassins
(1995)

not bad
I thought this was a great action flick. I'm really into this genre of movies. I don't particularly like Sylvester Stallone but he was pretty good in this movie. Julianne Moore was good but I think she would've been better if her role was bigger. But I think Antonio Banderas stole the show. He was so good as the psychopathic assassin. I loved the chase scenes. Especially the scene in the taxi. Miguel Bain's (Banderas) evilness just oozed out of him as this scene played. Robert Rath (Stallone) wanted to kill Bain so bad during this scene. I loved the explosions. I just had a thought though. Whenever Rath blew Bain out of the window and then it showed Bain in the bathtub, shouldn't he have had more wounds than it showed? I don't know. Maybe it was just me. Anyways. This movie had violence but not as much as most movies in this genre does. I thought it had just enough. The ending was pretty good. It seemed like Bain just would not die. An invincible villain! How many times have you seen that in these kinds of movies? Well, I don't have much more to say about this film except I really enjoyed it and thanks for reading my review! Bye!

Stuart Little 2
(2002)

Cute movie for kids
I think this is a cute movie for kids but it's really not just for kids. I'm 18 years old and I thought this was a funny and cute movie. I loved all the characters and it had a great story line. I really liked Snowbell the cat. Nathan Lane was a great choice for the voice of Snowbell. This movie reminded me a lot of "Cats & Dogs" because Snowbell looks a lot like Mr. Tinkles. Margalo the bird was so cute and I liked her character. Hugh Laurie, Geena Davis, and Jonathan Lipnicki all had great performances. I saw the first Stuart Little when it was still in theaters but I don't remember much of it so I can't say whether it was better than this sequel or not. All I can say is that this was a very cute movie and I enjoyed it. Well, bye and thanks for reading my review!!

Trapped
(2002)

watchable
"Trapped" is a good watchable movie. I was very pleased with the outcome of this movie. Kevin Bacon is so good at being a bad guy. He was creepy in this movie. His partner Marvin was likeable. He was sweet and didn't seem to really want to kidnap the little girl. Charlize Theron was very good and I probably would have acted the same way she did if my child was kidnapped and I didn't know where she was. I almost cried at the scene where her daughter was taken out of her arms. The little girl Abby was so cute and she is a very good young actress. Did you see her as Lucy in I Am Sam? So good! Stuart Townsend was good also and he was a lot better than Courtney Love. She got on my nerves. I liked the story line and it didn't make me mad like I thought it would. When the ending came close I just knew that Kevin Bacon was gonna die. He deserved it!! Yay Charlize for shooting him! Anyways. This was a very good movie and I'd watch it again. Thanks for reading my review and good night!

Enough
(2002)

I don't like J.Lo, but I liked this film.
This film was actually pretty good. I am no J.LO fan and I really cannot stand her but I ended up liking this film. It started to make me mad when her husband started hitting her and his mother blamed it on her. (Why do the mothers of the husbands always blame the wife? Can anyone answer me that? God, that drives me crazy!). Anyways. J.LO takes her daughter (who is sooo cute) and flees. This movie was quite scary at times when it showed her in her new house and the camera filmed shots that looked like there was someone peeking around the corner and you're like "oh my god, her husband's in there!" The martial arts scenes were good and the ending made me soo happy. She kicked her husband's ass didn't she! Well, I'm not gonna say too much more about this movie except it was good and J.Lo should make more movies like this. Thanks for reading my review!! Bye!!

The Fast and the Furious
(2001)

Fun to watch
This movie is so fun to watch. I love movies with car chases and car crashes. And this movie has it!! It had a good story line and the acting wasn't that bad. Yes, this movie has hot guys and hot cars but it has a lot more to offer. I think Paul Walker did a great job at keeping his true identity of being an undercover cop a secret. Vin Diesel isn't the greatest actor in the world and he's not the worst. I think he did a good job in this movie. His character Dominic was likeable even though I thought he was a little conceited. The racing scenes were awesome and I just loved the sounds the cars made! The scene where Vince was trying to climb up on the big truck and his arm got tangled in the wire made me cringe. The last scene where Dominic wrecks the Charger was cool yet sad to watch. (hee hee). And shouldn't Dom have been a lot more injured than it showed? Because I don't think he was wearing a seatbelt. Anyways. I think this was a fun watchable movie and I'm so glad I own it. Thanks for reading my review and good night! (Gone In Sixty Seconds was a good car chase movie too.)

Pitch Black
(2000)

I really like this film
I actually like this film. At first I didn't think I would because it was supposed to be scary which in fact it's not at all. I would say that it's frightening but not scary in my opinion. What I really like about this film is that the creatures don't have scary yellow eyes and scales and all those other cliched things. And this movie didn't even have that much blood either. And that's a good thing. I am not a horror fan but I don't think this movie really fits in the horror category. The only thing that I thought was scary was Riddick. He was a creepy guy. Especially when he and Johns were fighting. He sliced Johns's back with the knife and then the creatures came and got Johns. I think Riddick staged that. He was a bad guy but I think he was saddened when the creatures finally got Fry. I believe that his performance was the best in this film. "Pitch Black" was a great movie and it deserves good reviews. Thanks for reading my review and good night! (And may I add that this is probably Vin Diesel's best movie). :)

xXx
(2002)

Come on people, it's not THAT bad!
Ok. I will admit that XXX wasn't the best action movie ever made but it's not as bad as most people make it out to be. And I'm not just saying that because it has Vin Diesel in it (who is major eye candy). I didn't think I'd like it because I'm not really into major action flicks but this one I did. I liked the whole plot and the action sequences were fun to watch! Especially the dirt bike scene. The avalanche scene was cool but I think the stuntman did way too many loops! Vin Diesel is not that bad of an actor. I think he did a great job in XXX. Most of his one-liners were cheesy but it was fun to hear him say them. Well, I don't really have that much to say about this film except it was fun to watch and it would definitely be one that I'd like to own. Bye and thanks for reading my review!

~Wasn't that GTO sweet? I really liked the paint job on it. And the Corvette being ran off the bridge was just really painful to watch! Hee hee.~

Ice Age
(2002)

very cute and great for kids...and adults if they're interested
My family and I rented this movie last night and we thought it was so cute and funny. The squirrel-rat (Scrat) cracked me up while he chased his acorn. I liked all the characters but out of Manfred the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth, and Diego the Saber-Toothed Tiger I favored Sid the best. I loved the way he talked! It was so funny and I just had to laugh every time I heard him say his s's. The baby was really cute. It just had a cute face and was just so adorable. I also liked the fact that Diego started out as a bad guy and just wanted the baby and to eat Manfred but once he started hanging out with Manfred and Sid and got close to the baby he realized that he couldn't get the baby and just became friends with everyone. "Ice Age" had a lot of funny scenes and funny dialogue and was just an overall funny movie not just for kids but for everyone if they're interested. Well, thanks for taking the time to read my review! Bye!

The Mummy
(1999)

Fun To Watch
I really like this movie. It is fun, entertaining, creepy, mysterious, and a whole lotta other stuff too. Brendan Fraser brings humor in just about any role he plays and he is so cute. (especially in this movie). I thought the character of Evie was the most interesting because she was so smart and knew just about everything about ancient Egypt and could read the language and she was funny too. I thought the special effects were cool and the scenes where The Mummy was regenerating himself were cool. The Mummy was an interesting character too. All he wanted was to get his girlfriend back and wreaked havoc trying to do it. And in my opinion I thought Arnold Vosloo (who played Imhotep) was very handsome. He played the part well. Anyways. I really like "The Mummy" and I could watch it again and again. I saw the sequel (The Mummy Returns) but I didn't care too much for it. I didn't think it was as good as this one. "The Mummy" had humor, special effects, a little gore, action, and just about everything to make a movie interesting. Well, thanks for taking the time to read my review! Bye!

The Lost Boys
(1987)

one of the best vampire movies
"The Lost Boys" is a great vampire movie. It isn't cliched like most vampire movies and it has a good story line. I like the fact that the vampires look like normal people until they attack and that's when they actually look like vampires (which freaked me out). Kiefer Sutherland was good in this movie. He was very creepy. Jason Patric also good and some nice eye candy too. The two Coreys were just cute and entertaining at trying to act tough. Well, I thought this was a very good vampire movie and it was actually watchable! I think most vampire movies these days are just plain stupid, over cliched, and just totally unwatchable. But I liked this one! It gave me chills and kept me on the edge of my seat. Well, thanks for reading my review! Bye!

A Night at the Roxbury
(1998)

always makes me laugh
I love this movie!! Everytime I see it I laugh. I love SNL and Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell are two of my favorite cast members. I think the movie is a lot funnier than the skit on SNL. Will Ferrell is funny in any role he plays and Chris Kattan is so cute. One of the funniest things about this movie was how Doug (Kattan) and Steve (Ferrell) act so dumb. Especially Steve. And I think it's sweet how they love each other so much. And not many brothers are like that!! Emily (Molly Shannon) got on my nerves. She turned out to be this whole different person when she and Steve finally got together. I can't stand people like that. Anyways. This movie is funny and cute and great entertainment. A must see for any Saturday Night Live fan. (Like me!!) Well, talk to you later and thanks for reading my review!! Bye!!

Mystic Pizza
(1988)

great friendship movie
I really like this movie. It's sweet, charming, funny, and makes you think of your friends. This is one of the very few roles I like that Julia Roberts played. I love many of the '80s movies because most of them are cheesy and I just love looking at the clothes and hairdos from that decade. One of my favorite scenes has to be where JoJo and Bill get caught in the act by her parents. That was hilarious! Well, this is just about all I can say about this movie but I really liked it and you should definitely watch it with your friends.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
(1994)

SOOOO FUNNY!!!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! Back in 1994 when this movie first came out my cousin had asked me if I had seen "Ace Ventura : Pet Detective" and I had never even heard of it. Well, she put it in the VCR and I just died laughing. It was one of the funniest movies I had ever seen. So whenever I'd go to her house (which was quite often) we'd always watch this movie and over time we had memorized every word to it. And I still do! Jim Carrey is a great comedian and he has a great sense of humor. This movie makes me laugh so hard and it just makes me feel good after watching it. It's definitely on my 'most favorite movies' list. I hope Jim makes more hilarious movies. Anyways. I love this movie and anyone who doesn't find it funny must not have a sense of humor. Well, talk to you later!! Tootles!

Men in Black
(1997)

Fun to watch
I love this movie! It's one of the best Will Smith films. It has some funny lines and good, clean humor. One of the funniest parts to me was when the MIB pulled Reggie and his wife over and Tommy Lee Jones was asking him to see his *other* license and registration and Reggie's wife was having a baby and Will had to deliver it and the "baby" wrapped itself around Will and was banging him down on top of the car and everything. I thought that part was hilarious. I also liked Edgar and the way he walked and ran into things. I loved the part where he comes back inside the house just after the bug stole his body and his wife says "Edgar you're skin is hanging off your bones" and he looks in the mirror and he says "oh, yeah," and he pulls his skin back on his face and he says "there, is that better!" and his wife passes out!!! Most people think that movies have to have jokes about sex and violence to have a good humorous movie but this movie doesn't and it's still worth watching. I bought the sequel a couple of days ago and I still have yet to watch it! I hope it's as good as the first one. Anyways. Men In Black is a great family movie and it deserves good comments. Talk to you later. Tootles!! Thanks for reading my review!!

Mr. Deeds
(2002)

Not the best Adam Sandler movie...but it was funny!
I thought this was a funny movie. It wasn't the best Adam Sandler movie and it sure isn't as funny as Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore or The Waterboy but it had it's funny parts. Mr. Deeds was one of those "feel-good" movies. Crazy Eyes was hilarious. This movie did'nt have Rob Schneider in it!! and he usually plays a "townie" in Adam Sandler movies. Winona Ryder was okay in this film but the movie still would've been good without her. The funniest part that had her in it was when she was fighting with that big woman (I forgot her name). That was hilarious. Mr. Deeds was a likeable character and he didn't yell! (Most of Adam's characters do yell, has anyone noticed that?) Anyways. I thought this was a funny movie and Adam Sandler is a great comedian. Tootles!!!!!

Eight Legged Freaks
(2002)

Cheesy, creepy, campy, FUN!!!
I was a little skeptical about watching Eight Legged Freaks because I LOATHE spiders. They're hairy and they have way too many legs. But I thought this movie was funny! The spiders made noises every time they were shot and they had all this goo splattering out of them. The parts where the people were getting wrapped up in the cocoons were pretty nasty. But this movie was a lot of fun to watch. David Arquette brings humor into just about all his roles even if they're not meant to be funny. I think this movie didn't bother me all that much because I knew the spiders were fake. But I can't watch Arachniphobia because those spiders are real!! Anyways. Eight Legged Freaks was funny, cheesy, and just plain fun. Talk to you laters ~!!

The Cell
(2000)

Good movie...but not for the squeamish!!
I watched "The Cell" for the first time last night and I still can't get it out of my head. I thought it was really good, and I really don't care for Jennifer Lopez. First off, It was very strange to me. I'm definitely gonna have to watch it again to fully understand it. Vincent D'Onofrio is WACKED!! He was good as the psychotic serial killer. I think they should've shown him more. This movie was gory and I'm very squeamish so it made me cringe. I wouldn't want to go inside D'Onofrio's head. No thanks!! I loved the special effects and all the beautiful colors and scenery. Anyways. This was a good film and very disturbing! Bye for now. Tootles!!

I Spy
(2002)

Funny!!!!!
My aunt, my cousin, and I walked in the theater to see I Spy and it had already been on for about 30 minutes. I was a little disappointed about missing the first part of it but once I started watching the movie I got over my disappointment. I loved this movie!! It was sooo funny! I love Owen Wilson in just about anything. He's cute and brings out the humor in just about any character he plays. I love the way Eddie Murphy talks really fast. Especially the part where Famke Jansen was about to cut off his manly part and he started talking a mile a minute. Yeah, the plot could've been a little thicker and there was quite a few plot holes but this was a very funny movie. My aunt, my cousin, and I laughed until we couldn't breathe! Owen Wilson and his "stakeout" thing was pretty funny too. Eddie and Owen make a great duo and they should be rewarded for making a fun and entertaining movie. Great stuff!!

The Banger Sisters
(2002)

I didn't think I'd like it...but I did!
My cousin, my aunt, and I wanted to go see a movie and have dinner. After eating at Waffle House we couldn't decide what we wanted to see. Nothing was really grabbing our attention. So my cousin and my aunt just decided to go see The Banger Sisters because it was a comedy and we all wanted to see a comedy. I wasn't too sure about this one when I entered the theater (my cousin, my aunt, and I were the only ones in the theater, by the way). But as the movie went on, I found myself enjoying it. I really enjoyed Goldie Hawn's free-spirited ways and she wasn't afraid of still being a groupie. She had a lot of funny lines too. I liked how Harry sort of acted nervous and didn't particularly like being around people and germs. Susan Sarandon was good but I really enjoyed her after Goldie transformed her. Did you see her wardrobe?! It was all beige! Susan's daughters were great in the movie but they both got on my nerves! I just wanted to slap both of them. The storyline was great and even though they could've left some of the language and sexual innuendo out it was still quite enjoyable. I thought the part where Goldie and Susan were in Susan's basement smoking a doobie and looking at the pictures of the male genitalia and her husband and kids came down there and she and Goldie were trying to hide the pics and Goldie couldn't stop laughing. That was the funniest part to me. Anyways. I liked this movie and hats off to Goldie and Susan. Thanks for reading my review!!!!

Relentless
(1989)

Judd Nelson's best film
I am a really big fan of Judd Nelson and he ruled in this movie. He's so good at being the bad guy. Judd plays Buck Taylor, a demented serial killer who picks his victims from a phone book and calls them before he enters their house and kills them. And the victims' names resemble his. And he tears the pages out with the victims' names underlined in red with messages like "catch me if you can" that he leaves on the dead bodies for the police. Buck does these horrid things because his father was abusive and he kills to show his dad that he's good at something. I really enjoyed this movie and it showed how good of an actor Judd is. Great film!

The Master of Disguise
(2002)

I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!!
I loved this movie!! It was so cute!! I had wanted to see it ever since I first saw the trailer for it. I am a big fan of Dana Carvey and I thought he was great in this movie. I can understand why most of you people didn't like it because he made this especially for his children who are under 13. I loved his little Italian accent and I thought he looked so cute. I went with my dad (who's in his 40's) and my 10 year-old sister and they both laughed! My sister was laughing out loud and there were some parts that I laughed so hard tears came to my eyes. I think I laughed the hardest at the Turtle Guy part. I really liked the guy from India who was charming the snake. I loved the voice he used. Yeah, this movie ain't nothing like the work he did on Saturday Night Live but he does use his talent here and I just enjoyed it. I laughed and that's what Dana wanted the people to do when they saw this movie. It was so great. Oh, and I will own this movie when it comes out on video!!!

Shanghai Noon
(2000)

I absolutely love this movie
I love this movie. I first saw it back in February (2002) and I loved it. It was very funny and I just had to go out and buy it. I'm not a really big fan of Jackie Chan although I do love him in the Rush Hour movies. Owen Wilson is one of my favorite actors.I hate that he's so underrated because he really is a great actor. His performance was cute and he had some great lines. If you don't really like him or don't know him watch "Zoolander" and you'll love him.Lucy Liu, Xander Berkeley, and the rest of the cast were great too. I loved the relationship between Marshall Nathan Van Cleef (Berkeley) and Roy O'Bannon (Wilson). That was really funny and cute. If you want a good laugh you should see this one even if you don't like westerns (like me). But Shanghai Noon isn't your average western. Anyways. I Know I'm rambling on about this movie but I love it and thanks for reading my review!!!!

Frailty
(2001)

A little strange, but I enjoyed it
This was a really good movie. It kept me entertained and I loved Bill Paxton's performance. He scared me. I thought for sure he was going crazy. *POSSIBLE SPOILER* But when Matthew McConaughey started saying that he wasn't 'Fenton' and that he was Adam I got so confused!! And he ended up being the sheriff. This movie had me on the edge of my seat. I left the theater in shock. There were some parts in the movie that I knew would happen like when the older brother (was it Fenton or Adam?) brought the officer to his house and they went to the shed and then Bill Paxton killed him. I just knew that was gonna happen. Spoiler!! I also had a feeling that when the older brother had to help kill that last man and he killed his father instead. That surprised me!! Ok. I know I'm giving most of the movie away but I really liked this film and it is disturbing!! But it was definitely worth the price of the movie ticket. Congratulations to Bill Paxton on his directing. Good job Bill!!Matthew McConaughey did a great job too. Frailty rules!!

Kiss the Girls
(1997)

One of my favorite movies
I love this movie. Kiss The Girls is very thrilling. It had a good storyline and I thought the movie did a great job of not making it too obvious who Casanova was. But I will admit that it had it's boring moments. But the ending!! The ending is my most favorite part of this movie. When Detective Nick Ruskin (Cary Elwes, who I mainly watched the film for) comes to Kate's house and she's all happy to see him and then she finds out he's Casanova, then the climax begins. Every time I watch that part it stays with me. He's so evil!! I thought Cary Elwes was great as the killer. He hardly ever plays a bad guy and he's good at it! I also liked how Morgan Freeman found out that Nick was Casanova. Those of you who've seen it know what I'm talking about and I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't. But I enjoyed this film and I'm so glad I own it now!! Great mystery.

Death to Smoochy
(2002)

loved this movie
I can see why some people wouldn't like this movie. But I loved it. I love anything Edward Norton does anyway. I am such a big fan of his. Robin Williams is funny in just about anything he does. I loved how he hated Smoochy. One of my favorite parts was when Rainbow Randolph was beating the TV with a candlestick because Smoochy was on and he was saying things like "die you illegitimate teletubbie!! die you muppet from hell!" I also loved how Randolph was always getting hurt. But you couldn't help but love Sheldon Mopes (Norton). He was just so nice and never said anything negative. And Catherine Keener's character kind of frustrated me because she was so hard on Sheldon. But this was a very funny movie. I was laughing out loud. The cookie scene was pretty funny. But this was definitely worth the price of the movie ticket. Long live Smoochy!!
