Gilmore Girls
(2000)

there is no better show
Gilmore Girls is a show that I knew would be brilliant. The fact that mother and daughter are only 16 years apart enhances their closeness and friendship. Every character is unique and funny in his/her own way. Although, Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) is apparently getting his own spin-off, I do hope the writers and producers decide not to cut out all of the supporting characters. For example, Paris is one of my favorites. However, along with her, there are her two sidekicks, Madeline and Louise, played by Shelley Cole and Teal Reddmann. All three of them together make the Chilton scenes perfect. Of course Lorelai's parents are amazing as well as her best friend Sookie. I am looking forward to seeing the changes of the show that are inevitable due to Rory's college decision. I hope that Lane and her non-Korean boyfriend will eventually be together will her mother's blessing. I also can't wait for Luke and Lorelai to express how they feel, although that would be the end of the show, I'm sure. I guess all of us will have to wait a while on that one. I am happy that this show is progressing and I hope it will continue to do so.

Freeway
(1996)

Extremely twisted black comedy
Reese Witherspoon has never made a better movie than Freeway...Although I respect her for wanting to do more romantic/family oriented movies because of her daughter, I don't think even she realizes how amazing she was playing this role...She was completely foul mouthed and hot tempered, but her timing and attitude was fantastic..I recently realized how this movie is and has been potential for cult classic....Reese Witherspoon never mentions this movie in any interviews and I wish she would because I would like to hear her thoughts on playing Vanessa Julia Lutz...

Tuck Everlasting
(2002)

love, action and frogs
Tuck Everlasting is a very well acted action and love story regarding teenagers, immortality, and a life that could never be...however contrary to popular belief, this classic novel written by Natalie Babbit and disney adaptation are complete opposites....this movie is nothing loke the book at all...I enjoyed reading and watching Tuck Everlasting but don't be fooled..It's really only the title that is used...Winnie Foster in the book is only 10 years old and has no love affair with Jesse Tuck..for the movie she was aged five years and played by Alexis Bledel..who although very talented....plays a better role as Rory Gilmore on the WB's Gilmore Girls....A good period piece and love story for children and if you haven't read the book then don't plan on it anytime soon.....

Her Last Chance
(1996)

Kellie Martin is amazingly out of control
Kellie Martin plays an addicted drug an alcohol user oblivious to the damage her actions are doing to herself as well as her mother...Her mother is played by Patti Lupone who played Kellie's mom in the series Life Goes On...This movie was well acted and Kellie Martin rises to be the best and the worst in this thought provoking film...for those of you who have seen her on ER, ignore the fact that her interaction and dialogue does not even compare to her presence as an actress in everything else she does...

A Friend to Die For
(1994)

based on the melodramatic life of Angela Delvechhio
What made this movie exciting was that the weak overcame the strong...Kellie Martin is fascinating as the unpopular girl (Angela) who has to work to get what she wants...Tori Spelling's charater is stuck up and snobbish but gets the best of everything anytime. I loved this movie because it is rare to see Kellie Martin so evil and good at it...This movie is directed to all teenagers who have always wanted to fit in...However the end result could be tragic if one is not smart and careful enough to follow his/her tracks...Kellie Martin and Angela Delvecchio know what I mean..he he
