We get some new points of views with the Saraphites (Scars) and the Wolves. Issac seems to be heading the wolves as he wants to know where the saraphites are attacking next. Ellie and Dina venture through Seattle to track any trace of the WLF and Abbie. They come head to head with deployments of people and some infected. Their relationship also develops.
A good episode overall and definitely more happening compared to last weeks. The new groups added loving that no complaints there.
Ellie and Dina are doing their best and we come to revelations in the episode that will determine the upcoming episodes. I do have a snag and I am finding myself complaining it to the game WHICH I do try not to but when I feel the show lacks and the game didn't I fail to understand how it can happen and this is in regards to Ellie. There is a scene where Ellie has to react and her reaction seems off for some reason, in the game she's cold and more assertive where here she is all happy days.
This may be just me but in the show Dina has way more about her which I like and in the game she was just kinda there, Dina is almost stealing the spotlight in the show and overshadowing Ellie. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I think for a revenge arc which again Ellie doesn't have the grit yet for that showing, Dina seems to be more bad a**.
I'm not trying to complain because I'm enjoying the content it's just in the game Ellie is a BEAST and here not so much I almost feel she is being pushed aside, 7/10.

Late review !!!
We see Ellie coping 3 months after the death of Joel. Angry and lost she wants to head to Seattle to find and kill Abbie and all involved in what happened to Joel and Dina.
It's a slower paced episode than what we have gotten but again as someone who played the games this is okay !!! Take the time to breathe because if it sticks to the game we will have no time to take a break for the rest of the season as it's all guns blazing to the end.
To be honest Ellie's anger isn't really there like I thought it would be, it's hard not to compare to the game but I feel like the 3 month jump we miss that grief and anger Ellie has and bring with her through Seattle in the game as it's maybe a few days after in the game not 3 months.
I am HOPING the action is close to the game because it's top notch !!! Ellie and Dina I am liking their relationship so far
Good episode, building for the season, 7/10

The B-vengers
Yelena is going through a dark patch of not knowing where she belongs, she feels like she is just drifting through life with no purpose. She is working for Val and is sent on a mission to stop an intruder taking evidence of Val. Yelena decides this is her last one before she wants to step into the light. Not all goes according to plan when taskmaster, walker, ghost, and a guy called Bob all show up on a similar mission. After realising they have been set up, they must work together to escape the compound. While escaping a new threat is revealed that has immense powers and the potential to fill the avengers void left since endgame. Meanwhile Bucky is working with the law as congressman trying to take val down which poses a difficult task.
That is the absolute best way I can describe this with no spoilers hahahaha it's one of those where each reveal leads into the next path taken by the group so it's best not to start getting into the meat of it.
Absolutely Florence Pugh stealing the show for me in this, she is absolutely fantastic. The mirroring of her sadness and feeling of not belonging is mirrored really well in other parts of the movie.
Even through it's a magical kind of villain we get a very grounded story with good combat, good visuals which I have not said in a while for Marvel, great score and GOOD comedy. Ofc it goes a tad too much BUT not to the extent I'm usually sick of.
The first 1hr 40 is the best, it was a great time, the end is good but I do feel potentially a different track could have been taken or I don't know the payoff just missed that something special for me which would have pushed the rating more.
Overall a very enjoyable Marvel movie, jumping between a 7.5 and an 8 but I have left the cinema having very much enjoyed it, 8/10.
