This is the second Spider-Man show I have watched after the 2017 series. I do prefer this series. I do like the other one but I prefer this one. Having Spider-Man by himself with a more grounded story in a show I feel like helps flesh his character out quite a bit and find every character is developed enough than a show that focuses on quickly introducing a couple characters as their spider persona but then quickly shifts focus away from them. I find that the 2017 series does get better as it goes on but I find Spectacular Spider-Man is more consistent throughout. I feel like there is room for continuation for both shows. Obviously the Spectacular Spider-Man is more popular.
I find this show does a good job at having him being a middle ground of cool and nerdy. At times it seems like Spider-Man is depicted as more as one than the other but this I feel does the best at having a middle ground. I find all the villains are good and provide good enough conflict. It builds on what Spider-Man should be.

Mulan is yet another classic from the Disney Renaissance. The Disney Renaissance definitely has some of the best of disney and Mulan does seem to support that, in my opinion at least. I tried to watch the live action Mulan and I just couldn't get into it. I much prefer this version as it's what Disney does best. Even if the live action takes a more realistic approach, it sucks out everything that makes Mulan entertaining. I also like to see more Asian based content as it seems most of the blockbusters today tend to be more Western/European based. When I just watched it barely a week ago, it was the first time that I recall ever watching it but I still enjoyed it. I feel like my top 3 disney Renaissance include Aladdin and Mulan but it does seem hard to flesh out a top 3.
This film about Thurgood Marshall helps give a good look at civil rights when it comes to the legal system. It features an earlier case Thurgood Marshall had that happened in the state of Connecticut that he did with Sam Friedman. I find it a good legal drama. I find Chadwick Boseman does a good job at portraying Marshall. Chadwick Boseman is a pretty good actor. He seems to have given good performances even when he was battling colon cancer. I find it is a good idea to learn as much as possible about civil rights as it has been a huge part of American history. Thurgood Marshall was one of those key figures and this could be a key case.
