The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself
(2022)

Wow, I am so impressdded, it's magic!
If I would know magic myself I would make it possible to give 12 stars, for excellent acting, superb storyline, perfect special effects: I love it all, binged all 8 episodes in less than 3 days... I especially like the fast dynamics, the story is never boring, but I also never lost track. And the magic is visualised in a stunning way, I have not seen this quality in the Harry Potter movies! Visual effects are just from another world!

The acting is believable, and the characters are complex, and often different from what I first expected.

Please please please give us season two, if not I will cancel my netflix subscription!

Blinded by the Light
(2019)

Nice story, sometimes boring
Nice story, nice actors but some scenes go on forever. I was glad the end came, even though I was entertained in most scenes. Cannot say why not a 6 in stead of a 7, maybe because the feel good family sob story was done well, and the characters were believable. Even despite of the fact they broke out into endless singing of Bruce Springsteen songs, which may appeal fans but me as a moderate appreciator or less, I was bored.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
(2016)

The best series ever
I love this series. The actors are marvellous, the dialogues are very funny, very catchy, the story is downright absolutely bonkers, crazy, but so funny! If you have a mediocre intellect, this series maybe too hard for you, since you have to be smart enough to let go of the need to understand what is happening to fully appreciate the genius of it.

Donne-moi des ailes
(2019)

Amazing movie, wonderful scenery, beautiful filming, deeply moving story
Just one word: wow....

See this one, you will not regret it. Anything I can tell besides this could be a spoiler, and you do not want to enjoy a second less!

Beauty and the Beast
(2017)

A freaking 7.2 on IMDB?!?
This is a horrible Disney piece of crap full of completely lame singsongs, a script so wrong it is an insult to other scripts to even call it a script. The only way I could enjoy this is after eating two complete space cakes, and even then I would prefer analysing our wallpaper!

1408
(2007)

boring, unimaginative, cheap, predictable
I found this movie very predictable. The camera zooms in on some paintings in the room while they are described by the main character. I immediately thought: so something will happen with these paintings later. And YES! I was right! Next, the main character suddenly wakes up in a hospital, and thinks he is out of the room. The scenes that follow did not make me doubt that he was still in the room, because of too many suggestive hints that he was. Boring! Some moments were thrilling, but there was no build-up of tension in this story. I found the reaction of the main character to the terrors in the room unnatural, I could not relate to the character. The end of the movie was to my opinion boring, unimaginative and cheap. I said to myself: any end, but not the death of the main character. And what happens? He dies, so predictable.
