I followed the advice of many and, despite the mediocre and disappointing first three episodes, I persevered.
In fact, the situation improves somewhat with episode 4, but with the next one it returns to the usual track.
A track marked by long and drawn-out episodes in which little action happens, forced and inconsequential and naive humor, and last but not least, completely unconvincing characters that leave the viewer completely indifferent.
From episode to episode, we meet the main character - an Italian mafia consultant of Korean origin, who occasionally "makes" the viewer happy with a handful of sentences in a disastrous Italian accent. A skinny beauty, for whom the authors of the series have not decided whether to present him to the viewer as a cool, alienated, awkward, noble, selfish or kind-hearted and quiet hero. In short, a whole mess of character characterization.
In conclusion ... I've seen far better Korean tv-shows than this one.

The Order doesn't bring anything new to the table, but it's a well directed and acted movie. The story is pretty simple and there are no major twists. Its weakest point resides in the poor characters' background and development.
But... What really stands out is Jude Law's performance. What a blast!
Years have passed and I really almost forgot what a good actor he is. It's really a pity that since his performance in Enemy at the Gates, Hollywood neglected his talent and focused more on his good look by giving him more and more undemanding and comedic roles.
So, I really hope we will be delighted with more of Jude Law's acting in the near future.

It would be as PERFECT as it could be!
As a typical macho male from other times I usually don't like movies or tv shows set in the 17th and 18th centuries, where everything revolves around horses, clothes, jewellery, etiquette, court intrigues and sugar-coated love relationships.
But this TV show is different ... It is one of those rare TV shows that perfectly combines an original, intelligent and sublimely written story, a right amount of crude violence, a bunch of perfectly timed and pleasantly proposed humor, outstanding and carefully crafted costumes, picturesque sceneries and a clever use of modern music.
Besides that it is a display of good acting and direction, attentive to every detail. Ex. There is a scene in the last episode, when the main female character puts her hand under the door. The scene is quite emotional... but what impressed me even more was a visually impressive, picturesque and meaningful detail - a paint scratch on the door. A masterful touch of photography direction.
I've literally devoured all the episodes of season 1 and I would be more than happy to see another one or two.
