The King of Queens
(1998)

Yet another annoying sitcom!
I almost find this show as annoying as Everybody Loves Raymond. THe Husband in mind-numbingly childish and immature. The wife is downright mean and vile and just a nasty shrew of a women. And the Father in law that lives in the basement makes me want to hurl my TV out of the window. But worse yet every episode is the same...Kari will say to Doug in every episode "you are unbelievable" and believe me HE IS! I use to think shows like Roseanne were annoying but no I have changed my mind..clearly either I don't get shows like this and Everyone loves Raymond type Humor at all. I find it just quite insulting to be honest! it's really not funny that Doug and Keri's friends avoid them because they are horrible people to be around, what's funny about that.

Black Christmas
(2006)

Works more like a horror parody.
Okay. I loved the original,so of course I was disappointed in this. I have learned over the years when viewing this movie to totally disregard the 1974 original because this one is nothing like it. The positive things about this movie is the following: The Christmas lights and ambiance is wonderful. The house feels cozy and warm. I loved the Christmas music as well.

Now on with the awful: the entire cast minus Andrea Martin!!!! OMG they are annoying as hell. Maybe it was the editing but why is the drunk girl just glaring around making ugly faces at the camera. Lacey Chabert, honey why did you play a part in this movie? I doubt her movie career will ever recover after this. The girls are vile, mean spirited creatures so you really don't care whether they die or not. Just don't take this movie seriously, and take a few shots a tequila and it will be a lot better. Oh and of course there are jabs at the Christmas season in general you can tell the producer has a thing against the Holiday himself.

Everybody Loves Raymond
(1996)

Realistic perhaps, but mostly just sad and annoying
I did not watch this show until it went into syndication and wonder how in the world it was as popular as it was. My Mom-in-law loved this show, now I know why. She is identical to Ray's mother,A controlling manipulative passive aggressive hot mess! Every character on this show is mind numbingly frustrating to watch. If my parents were anything like ray's I would never introduce them to my wife let alone move the poor thing across the street from them! ... ray's immature whiny voice that no woman in real life could actually find intriguing unless you are damaged emotionally too I guess. Then there is Debra being the doormat and letting her in laws intrude like that.(honey its called a door lock use it!!!) I mean she has it made...A husband that makes good money but yet she acts like life could not get any worse..She should get down on her knees and thanks God above she does not have to drag her self out in the work force like most women do. Of course I guess since she puts up with Ray's immature self all the time it would make anyone bitter. I mean it's like he still sucks him mommies teet and he is proud of it!JUST.UNREAL. what is sad is that America watched this mess for 8 years.. This show should be required watching for young women who possibly could be marrying a moma's boy..and newlyweds who are contemplating moving anywhere near their inlaws.THis show is not funny,it just makes me angry, now excuse me while I go vomit!

Reba
(2001)

We get it Reba your Perfect!
I pretty much liked every character on this show from the start except Reba herself. She comes off as an holier than thou type and quite frankly a big Bully. And that stinks because she is in every scene and every episode. In the later seasons Van becomes unlikeable too, like a spoof of his former self. and Kyra walks around sneering and being miserable. The first 3 to 4 seasons are pretty good if you overlook Reba. Towards the end its pretty bleak.. In basically every episode Barbara jean Is walking around being dumb,Reba is being mean to her,but poor Ole Barbara jean desperately wants Reba to like her which results in Barabara jean telling Reba how awesome she is in every episode. I think it is pretty clear to see Reba has self esteem issues and wants to be seen as this all forgiving saint. Its really a shame too because other than her the show had such potential.
