Office Space
(1999)

Extremely Clever
Comedy at its best!!! This movie is amazingly funny. For those of you that gave it low marks, you must not appreciate great social satire. This movie shows the irony of everything involved in working for corporate America....it's brilliant. Anyone who's ever had a job in an office setting can relate....so great!!

Mike Judge is a great writer, as all of us King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead fans would agree. This type of comedy may not be as obvious as, say, an Adam Sandler or Jim Carrey movie....but it's equally entertaining. Ron Livingston was the perfect actor to play Peter, and I liked it that he's not super well known, it made it more believable.

Taken
(2002)

Leaves you wanting more
I watched the entire 20 hours of Taken, and I was left wanting more. I thought the cast was great, partially because they were not all recognizable. I like to see great new actors. Dakota Fanning was fabulous. My only problem with the casting was with Heather Donahue from the Blair Witch Project, I didn't care for her acting in this film. I personally felt that it was as good or better than some of Steven Spielbergs box office winners like Minority Report and ET. I hope they do a sequel, but stay away from a series.

Never Been Kissed
(1999)

Sweet Movie
I've seen this movie five or six times and I think it's cute every time I see it. It has the cutest ending that leaves you feeling happy inside. Drew Barrymore is great in it, and Michael Vartan is so extremely handsome. I wish they had made Drew look a little more with it though, she looked pretty ridiculous until the last 2 or 3 scenes. But it was all really funny, even if it was pretty predictable.

40 Days and 40 Nights
(2002)

A Stinker
I recently saw this movie at the local "cheap" theater where movies go right before they hit the video stores. I recommended it, and after it was over I was sorry I paid 2.50 for it, not to mention my husband had to sit through it as well. I wouldn't say it was the worst movie I've seen, but it doesn't live up to my expectations. I was expecting a little more from a movie with Josh Hartnett in it. I guess I shouldn't have expected so much from a movie w/ this storyline. Basically he vows not to have sex for 40 days and the whole movie is his friends making bets that he won't last that long... that's pathetic.

Spider-Man
(2002)

AWESOME
This movie was so awesome! I was pleasantly surprised. Ever since I heard who was going to play Spiderman I thought it might not turn out that great. I was picturing the Tobey Maguire I saw in The Cider House Rules and Pleasantville, and it just didn't seem like it would work...but oh how it did. He was a great Spiderman, I don't think anyone could have done the job as well. I love movies and I see a lot of them, but this one is a stand out. I almost want to see it again bad enough to pay another eight bucks. Also, Kirsten Dunst was really cool, as usual, as M.J. I just hope that the sequal is anywhere near as good as this one. I can't wait!!!

Dumb and Dumber
(1994)

My favorite movie
This movie is the absolute best! It is honestly my all time favorite movie. Jim Carrey is one of the best actors ever and does not get the credit he deserves; most actors cannot pull off this level of comedy. Jeff Daniels also proves himself to me in this movie....I never knew he was so funny. I saw this move twice in the theater when I was a penniless teenager, and it took a lot for me to see a movie more than once. I can't imagine a move that will ever beat this one out as my favorite!

Pinwheel
(1976)

Pinwheel Pinwheel Spinning Around
I watched this show daily as a young child and have very very fond memories of it. This show out shows any show we have on television right now. It is beyond me why reruns aren't being shown on Nickelodean, which is where I watched it. They need to have channels for reruns of all of these great shows that this generation is missing out on. This show was a classic. I especially remember the snail with the living room on the inside of his shell.

Today's Special
(1981)

A great show!!
I rank this show in the top ten shows of my childhood. I was very young when I watched this on Nickalodean. I have asked countless people if they remember it and no one has, except my father. I remember there was a word of the day every episode. I loved Muffy the mouse, I thought she was beautiful. I would do anything to be able to see an episode of this show.

Rocky Road
(1985)

What a treat
I think I am the one and only person that remembers this television show. I remember recording this show after we got our first VCR. I liked the whole beach/ice cream parlor theme as a 8 year old. I even remember the Beach Boys sounding theme song. I wish these old shows were still in reruns when I start reminiscing.

Still the Beaver
(1983)

Same old Beaver
I remember watching this show during the same period that I was watching the old Leave It To Beaver. I thought everything about this show was really cool, because they had almost all of the same people on the new show as they did on the old show. I especially liked the episodes that centered around Wally's daughter Kelly. She was just enough older than I was at the time that I thought she was really cool. I miss shows like this.
