Skyline
(2010)

Uber Boring Sci-Fi
I wish I listened to IMDb folks. I hadn't, and I rented this movies's blue-ray edition(which is pain in the ass cause price is 2 times higher compared to DVD)

And from start to finish, I was wrestling with myself whether I should abort movie or not. Only reason I didn't that is 1080p. Other than that, plot is lousy, acting is horrible( except David Zayas I must say). all the romantic gimmick is so plummy etc.... Some movies are just for entertainment I know that as well. But thing is, this movie can't even do that. I can show you a lot of Sci-Fi games which is superior to Skyline. If somebody made a "worst sci-fi movies survey" I would put my money on this.

So, don't be an idiot like me and never ever try this movie. If you really enjoy alien invasion thing, then play crysis 2. It would be a wise choice.

How to Train Your Dragon
(2010)

clichés of cliché
I usually don't like Hollywood animations(Exception for one or two Pixars'S but that's all). They all always put the same crap over and over again with different themes. There's mostly someone who is different from his/her environment, and doesn't get along with people around his/her as a result. First we see disappointment than new friend come to help our's buddy. Together, they correct the things that doesn't fit their ideal worlds. At the and big success, applause and huraaaay! mode. How to Train Your Dragon isn't exception to this, so -to speak- American way of animation unfortunately. I know exactly what will happen at very beginning of the movie. If I wasn't tight fisted fella I would leave at the half of the movie. In short same crap with different theme. Dreamworks budy, you are suck at this business. Why bother watch things like these while we have incredibly deep and satisfying Japanase animations? I strongly recommend Toki o kakeru shôjo.

Burn After Reading
(2008)

A Movie which is like Math
There is a idea that great movies come from Hollywood once in a blue moon. If it's true, Burn After Reading is definitely one of them. It makes you scare, it makes you thrill moreover - this might be awkward- it makes you also laugh. All these are mixed in a scenario which I haven't seen so creative for awhile. It's like a math problem. And just like it, your mind working through the movie. Keeping guess that who's dealing who. I recommend this movie especially for crime movie lovers. They will find unique tastes from it but even if you are not a fan of genre, it doesn't matter because either way, you'll watch a movie which has been dished up

masterly.

Battlestar Galactica
(2004)

Emotional only word that describe it.
I'm not one of the schmaltzy guy in the family, but this drama made me affected with every way it could. If I had to choose one word to describe the series it would be emotional. You find yourselves being close to different characters throughout the episodes. Sometimes, you are taking important decisions with Adama;you are agitated with moral dilemmas, toughness of being a real soldier,friendship... Or sometimes you're along with Starbuck, while notions like obstinacy, contumacy, freedom, incontrovertible attractiveness are echoed in your head. In Battlestar Galactica, every character has something to say. Things that somehow affect you emotionally. Throughout seasons I witnessed such moments that it was simply impossible to watch without weeping.Take my word: These scenes are not few. Up to Battlestar Galactica, I never thought I would be touched by a science fiction works... After the last episode of Battlestar, I felt, as if I'had make one of my friend's farewells. Still,If you decide to watch it, after sometime you'll find yourselves as a companion to all the crew in Battlestar. I think, it's this sense which makes BG so emotional.

Palermo Shooting
(2008)

Gives the mood but still something is missing
Since I saw "Der Himmel über Berlin" approximately 3 years ago I've become a valid Vim Venders fan. After that day, I always thought, Wim Wenders had something original to say. Palermo Shooting hasn't changed my verdict, well... Almost. The Thing about Palermo Shooting that I guess, this movie tells the well known story with different methods. The methods that little bit um, shall we say cheesy? Of course, this doesn't mean that it's not a enjoyable movie. It's very "warm" movie after all. But despite all this "warmness", you think in somewhere, something/things is/are missing in this movie. Still, it's worth to watching.

The Inner Circle
(1991)

Steel, Coldness and Ivan Sanshin
The Inner Circle is one of the movies which you can learn tasteless facts of history. While We Watch Stalin's private film projectionist Ivan Sanshin's life, actually we testify the whole nation's fate under the wings of Stalinism. The Inner Circle is so successful to portraits those sorrowful years. Yes, it's true that "bitterness level" of The Inner Circle is high(and maybe necessary too) but this movie tells this bitter story with a marvelous aesthetics that you feel both sorrow and ebullition at the same time. To able to take lesson from history, to able to understand a other nation's formidable and sorrowful efforts and to able to enjoy cinematic feast(which gives you mixed feelings)The Inner Circle must be seen. Watching The Inner Circle is definitely a rewarder experience.

The Wrestler
(2008)

It will embrace you
Since my childhood days,I always interested in Professional Wrestling. A Private channel in my country was showing old school WWF(It wasn't called as WWE in those years of course) matches and despite the matches were being shown late at the night I was still watching them. And I liked them. I still do. For the memories that I have about Professional Wrestling, when I heard this movie, it made me so excited. But I was expecting a elevated action package with a lot of cool wrestling action. After Watched the movie, I've understood how I was wrong! This movie isn't about "entertainment" part of the Wrestling, but It's about wrestlers themselves. It tells you that what is happening when the lights have been shut down and wrestlers get back to their ordinary life. Movie, especially emphasis on Pro Wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson's life both in/outside of the ring. His relationship with his daughter, his bread and butter, and others wrestler's behaviors towards Rany, all of these are given with such a emotional language that it's impossible not to communion with characters(Especially with Randy).I didn't surprise when I've learned from trivia part that Roddy Piper cried after watched The Wrestler, because I also felt the same things. The Wrestler is such a internally, cordial movie that you might want to embrace it with teardrops as if it's a human.
