Hypnotic
(2023)

Are you kidding me?
This one is so dumb i couldn't get past the first 30 minutes - and I really tried.

Evidently the bad guy is a jedi warrior whose only power is, "these are not the droids you're looking for", and conveniently, the only person it doesn't work on is Affleck. He performs an extensive search for 5 minutes and "stumbles" across a psychic who just happens to know exactly who the bad guy is, what his talents are, and all his background. Affleck's partner, a nobody actor, falls under the hypnotist's spell immediately and turns on Affleck.

After that, who knows? I couldn't waste any more time on this tripe.

Moonfall
(2022)

Just keeps getting worse!
Where to start?

  • cheesy
  • formulaic
  • terrible script
  • wooden acting (esp Halle Berry)
  • over-the-top music to inspire concern where there is none

Basically every scene from every end-of-the-world movie is abused here.

Bottom line: don't waste your time or money on this atrocity.

Godzilla
(2014)

i know it's a godzilla movie but...
Man, the actors are going through the motions, Olsen is wooden! the plot is dumb, godzilla is an extra. Brian Cranston is in it for about 15 minutes to give it some credibility, but even he is phoning it in. shoot me

One for the Money
(2012)

Just...not good
This movie had potential to be good. The Plot was full of cliches. It was predictable and not funny. Katherine Heigl was unbelievable and flat has an address.

Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn
(2020)

Dumb!
Cheesy, forced lines, goofy plot. Reminded me of the Adam West Batman. Expected to seem boom! crash! pow! balloons during the fight scenes. Couldn't even afford a cameo from the Joker ( Jack Nicholson not available?)

The Silence
(2019)

Had potential...
Nothing new. Hitchcock Birds meets the Walking Dead Without the good parts of either

Aquaman
(2018)

Dumb, dumb, dumb.
Plot is thin, dialogue is atrocious. Every 10 minutes someone stops to tell a story to make this try to make senses.

Monty Python's Flying Circus: The Money Programme
(1972)
Episode 3, Season 3

"I've got 90,000 pound in my pajamas..."
...and forty thousand French francs in my fridge" is a song they'll sing in live shows for years.

Half Shot Shooters
(1936)

Very dark
Dark humor on this one. Still, it was entertaining

Hoi Polloi
(1935)

Pygmalion meets the Stooges
Another great show with lines I've quoted since I was a kid. "Does the deer have a little doe?"...

Uncivil Warriors
(1935)

Duck! Dodge! Hyde!
One of my favorites. By this point the Three Stooges it hit their stride. One of the funniest of all time

Blockers
(2018)

Another movie where kids are smarter than their parents
How many more movies will I willfully subject myself to before I stop watching 20-something's act like teenagers? Inevitably the "teens" outwit the parents, and the parents learn "valuable " lessons in parenting from their teens. There are only a few really funny scenes in this one. I watched it on a flight so it was better than another game of solitaire.
