I've enjoyed it so far. The characters are funny and it's a cute concept. I don't get bent out of shape like others do about originality. If you want that.....don't watch TV.....because after several decades, most everything has been done. Just enjoy it for the 22 minutes it is on. It doesn't need to be anything more.

I thoroughly like the HellBoy movies, and this one is no different. It's a very entertaining trip to the movies. This movie does have more gore than the original two, but all the elements are there. Some great laughs, terrific action, and well acted. The scenes are incredible! A fun way to spend a couple hours at the movies.

I have not read the books, and nor did the people I saw the movie with.....but we all really enjoyed it! I can say this, no book will ever be perfectly adapted into a movie.....so people need to calm down when trying to compare. Taking a few hundred page novel and fitting it into 100 script pages is just not going to happen. That said, it's a well acted and great story. The soundtrack is amazing, and it's a fun trip to the movies. A great date movie.
