What happened??

Megamind used to be full of emotion and went through so much character development in the original 2010 movie. Ever since the sequel, his reputation had been going downhill. Now this show is even worse. The quality is worse than ever, and his character is so much less creative than it used to be. Megamind's backstory is all about being isolated and besides Metro man, being the only aliens on earth. Where did the other villains with superpowers come from??? Why are they suddenly his old pals? Why bend and break Megamind's backstory? Now it's a show for kids that hopefully will be forgotten about in a year or so. Spongebob will teach your kid more morale and common sense than this. I couldn't even bare to finish a single episode. This is sad.

Please, Dreamworks, fix this. Don't hurt your fans like this. You're giving us nightmares. I just want my lil goth cutie poo bear Megamind back. GIVE HIM BACK.

Megamind used to be my absolute favorite movie even into adulthood. Now I feel embarrassed to tell others because the sequel ruined Megamind's reputation. Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate just entirely ignores the progress Megamind as a character worked through. He went back to treating Minion like trash, suddenly he had a bunch of friends in the past, and the relationship with Roxana is entirely gone. This is not what he is supposed to be like. Megamind was supposed to have grown up in prison, completely isolated, without friends. Where are all those other (cheaply and uncreatively produced) villains coming from? Him and Metro Man were supposed to be the only people with superpowers due to being literal aliens. Sadly, this makes no sense.

I hope this sequel is a joke and will be fixed eventually..
