X-Men: The Last Stand
(2006)

I give it a B for special effects
Surprisingly, Halle Berry isn't the biggest waste of screen time in X3. She actually does a decent job! The biggest waste of screen time are the cheap one-liners and gimmicks the director used to try to be funny. You can tell he thought of Rush Hour the entire time - cheap, throwaway lines are OK if it's a comedy, but this movie was too dark and serious for that. Similarly, the use of clothing to denote who was a villain and who wasn't was ridiculous. The members of Magneto's newly formed Brotherhood all wear silly fishnets and bustiers - apparently after defeating humans they were all going to an S&M party. There were bright moments. As I said, Halle Berry's performance wasn't terrible. A first! The special effects were great and the script was actually very good. The problems came when Ratner decided to flex his directorial muscle and made small decisions that didn't ruin the story, but didn't help. It's a good story and a decent end to the trilogy, but there were little areas here and there that should have been fleshed out and developed more.

Dinosaurs
(1991)

Remember Sinclair gas, anyone?
I'm so excited to see that Dinosaurs has been released on DVD! I've certainly missed this show. Yes, it may be very similar to the Simpsons, but so what? The Simpsons sucks now and this show never did! I read all the comments listed, and none of them mentioned about how the characters are named after gas stations. Sinclair gas features a dinosaur on its signs, BP Richfield references BP gas, and Roy Hess references Hess gas. It's no surprise that BP Richfield pushes Sinclair around, since Sinclair gas was a much smaller company than giant BP. My favorite episode was when Baby Sinclair was born. So rent it, buy it,borrow it, whatever you have to do! A new generation must be exposed to the greatness of Dinosaurs!

Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story
(2000)

Loved it
I thought it was quite good, with drama, mystery, and a good love story. I liked Jack Garrison - he spiced up the story, and made Anne just a little more real. No, it's not like the old movies, but personally I thought they were just a little too drippy and sappy. Give me this gusty adventurous Anne over the Anne of old amy day. And Megan Follows is even more beautiful now than she was in the first Anne movies.
