Ahsoka
(2023)

Okay I guess
It is better than some of the other half baked stories Disney produced but not by much... Acting was good, I liked the story behind the characters.

Special effects were on point as alway Disney usually never fails in that department I can't really complain on that and you get to see some nice retro costumes

Story felt bland on rails nothing really surprised me except maybe how bad certain parts were if you thought about it for more than half a second. No real twists IMO. But if you like fancy CGI, like the Star Wars universe and don't mind it if logic fails here and there just to keep the story together then I suppose this is worth watching.

Awful story good special effects
I haven't read the books, but there must have been a lot of skipping in story to butcher it into this garbage of a movie. Nothing made any sense, they should have branden this as a comedy instead. Special effects were nice that's the only redeeming factor about this movie.

If you are going to enjoy this unplug your brain and stop thinking and just watch the Special effects as they were spectacular. Everything but special effects were bad. You felt no real connection to the characters as everything was just crammed in there. They present the characters with some backstory then wham chaos that made no sense unfolds, characters do pretty much nothing more than try to look cool. Then the new found friends set out on new adventures the end.

Gravity
(2013)

Good drama but unrealistic
Picture 10/10: I cant say anything other than excellent, it was very well executed.

Story 2/10: It was believable in the start but after the first few scenes things quickly made it into pure fiction. While certain things were required to add to a thrilling experience the way they executed it made them unbelievable to me, to the point of being a comedy.

Acting 8/10: Good acting, but I got annoyed by Sandra Bullock a few times but most likely due to the poor plot rather than fault of the actor. Overall everyone did very well.

My final score 5/10: If you don't care about realism and only want a good drama with an excellent picture this is a movie for you. I however could not watch the whole movie without being frustrated about 4 - 5 details which I wont say here to ruin the experience. Since I prioritize story when I watch movies I cant give this higher than a 3 of 10.

Recalled
(2012)

Propaganda recruitment film
This is a propaganda film about USA military honor.

The movie quality was good (7/10) plot was a bit predictable and moral was IMO bad. Sacrificing yourself for a "greater cause" to help your country aka protecting corporate elites interests is not a moral I share.

I liked the movie until the ending which I was hoping to be different and if they would have had a different one I would have rated it higher.

If you are an American loyalist who likes honor to country over family then this movie is for you, but if you are tired of glory to America recruit to the army now propaganda films like me don't watch it.

Monster
(2004)

If you like thrillers this is a must see!
I've seen a lot of Animes and I have to say this is the best one in my opinion, a true masterpiece that goes beyond others. I liked Monster since its not a common Anime (japanese cartoon) since it doesn't evolve around supernatural abilities or Futeristic techs. The story is written in a way that make it feel very realistic. The realistic story also makes it a very scary story in a sense that the monsters in this story actually can exists, these are the real monsters we should be scared of.

Don't let the fact that its anime scare you off. Even if its hard to watch at first you'll get used to it, the story makes up for it. The story is so compelling that once you get into it it's hard to stop watching. I don't want to spoil any of plot more than it questions a common moral "all human life is equal worth". The plot really gets you thinking.
