It's giving Wendy Williams meets Devil Wears Prada meets anything or anyone extra that you know that gives it! I was hooked in the first 5 minutes. The last gay musical I saw was Leave it On the Floor. I do believe it the new gay movement and this was doing something similar but with an extra slice of cheese. I hope this movie leads to a sequel.
I do like the look of the cast. I know that I am unfamiliar with the entire cast but they rocked with all the campiness that you need to make a hit. It is my hope that it becomes a classic for the underserved communities out there! There was a need and it was most definitely met.

This movie was put on Tubi because it probably didn't have a top budget. However, unlike most Tubi movies, the main character acted in true gangster style. The other characters were all over the place. I didn't hate the movie and was so I gave it a 9/10. I would have likely goven it a solid 10 if a little more was put into the storyline.
One thing about Tubi is if you get established actors you might get a wonderful movie. Again, this one was very good! To be honest, I could see a part two to this movie. It would love to see more back story. There was some real moments of acting & I appreciate that.

If we can accept the gay characters in Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black, the we can give Ed Coker a chance. I actually think his situations are a bit more realistic. First of all, I love how everyone looked. I found the men giving off masculine energy & I saw nothing overwhelmingly stereotypical. I felt like I actually lived some of these stories.
I hate that there was only one season. There really so many cliffhangers. I just knew I would find a season 2 in 2024. I would love to see a season two for sure! I say Ed Coker start a Gofundme if possible and get a second season going or make a movie!
