The fates of poor people in a primitive capitalism and a culture that put money first
The drama is touching! Remember how Charlie Chaplin brought us such life tragedies, of course, in his own way.
If we touch the depths of the hearts of ordinary poor people in developing countries, squeezed by both primitive capitalism and family cultures that place money at the heart of their children's future, we will understand their tragedies.
Besides, isn't money the whole meaning of life for millions of people in our Western societies?! And are marriages like in the romantic story presented in the movie "Pretty Woman"?
The acting is magnificent; the direction is masterful; the movie deserves a rating of at least 8 out of 10! And if the drama moved you, you can also give a higher rating.
Through this film, we can understand the philosophy of refugees who come to our world looking for better work and a better way of living, not that our world is perfect!

The best Serbian comedy ever!
This gem of a film is based on a screenplay by the brilliant Branislav Nusic.
The best Serbian actors take part in the film, their artistry deserves many Oscars (but then for foreign films they gave such awards, I think).
The subtle humor of 1962 is still relevant today; many of the situations described in the film are repeated even now in some Balkan countries.
I first saw this movie as a teenager, then on videotape, now in excellent remastered quality.
Watch, have fun and enjoy! I am sure you will want to watch the movie again, enjoy the humor and the music to try to understand the Balkan culture!

An excellent mix of the film "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and the theory of Sigmund Freud
If the film can be directed without such borrowing and the psychological-sexual pathology of the main character has been studied, the film can be nominated for some Oscar awards!
The acting is excellent (score 10); The directing has a lot of goodness (score 8), the script has different parts in terms of value (score 5), but it is precisely subordinated to the theory of Sigmund Freud, which today is not accepted for the accuracy.
That's all, the rating of 7 is fair for the film, and the acting on the main character could have won an Oscar!
