From what I have read Dog Pound is a film influenced by the British film Scum and is not a remake but if the truth be told it is almost exactly the same. Even some re-makes of other film's are not as close as these two film's are and because I seen Scum first and thought it was brilliant, Dog Pound has a lot to live up to. So does it then? The answer is no it doesn't, it's not even close. I suppose if I hadn't off seen Scum first I would of though this was a slightly above average film. The main character Butch is no where near Ray Winstone's character Carling and as I watched him, I just felt like I was watching a man trying to act tough. Maybe it is just me but I think he made the film worse. No spoilers here though and if you watch or have seen Scum then there is no need to tell you anyway. Not a lot more I want to say about this film really, it is no where near the level of Scum and having said that I would recommend that film but not Dog Pound. I warn you in advance mind, it's not for the faint hearted. Dog Pound 6.5 out of 10, Scum 9.5 out of 10.

I cannot work out how on earth this had been rated so low but the only conclusion I can come to is a lot of people mustn't have a sense of humour. I cant tell you how many times I was in fits of laughter at this film, from the very first Exorcist scene right until the end. I will admit there is a few moments that are to stupid but that is no way enough to stop me from giving this a 9. I am just going to give you an idea of how many things I can think of off the top of my head that are hysterical. Firstly the Exorcist scene, the red dress scene, the wheel chair V hand scene, the I.T the clown scene, Sydney escaping form the panic room scene, the Hannibal scene and like I said that is off the top of my head. I think who ever watches this knows they aren't going to get a well written masterpiece but this is a simple story filled with so many good jokes that it is worthy of much higher than 4.9. I can honestly say I have watched this about 12 times and still laugh at all the best one's. Just give it a try, I think its the best out of the whole series. The 1st one is good, this 2nd one is brilliant, the 3rd one is good but the 4th one is a let down (apart from the Tom Crusie scene at the end, that is genius).

I have to review this title purely for the fact that the first 2 films were brilliant and the 3rd and 4th are an insult to the originals. When I say review, I don't actually mean review because the only thing I can think of is bad, terrible and one of the worst movies I've ever seen along with Batman & Robin.

The story is the same but the burglars are a parody an do some of the worst acting I have ever seen. When you consider the flawless acting of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern in Home Alone 1 & 2 it's such a shame that they made the next two so badly.

Please don't waste your time with the 3rd and 4th just stick the 1st and 2nd on instead.

I give it a generous 1.

Where to start with The Inbetweeners? First of all I just want to say I am 26 years old and left school 10 years ago but this series is exactly what it was like at my school. As much as a lot of older generations don't want to admit it, this is just what it was like growing up in my school at Newcastle. Every character is like someone I have known from the past from the posh talking Will to the couldn't care less teacher Mr Gilbert. My point is, this is a comedy which is extremely life like, at least it is to me. That aside it is also a very well written situation comedy with perfectly cast characters. It follows the life of four school boys coming to there last year at school and is basically American Pie but in a TV series and it's British. I highly recommend this unless you are easily offended because once I came across it, I watched the full 3 series in 4 days (that's how funny it is).

I only ever feel really bothered to review films that I think are truly brilliant and this is no exception. It is a lot more real and true than most people would think or have you believe. I watched a documentary recently about surveillance systems around the world and apparently the things that are used nowadays and are supposed to be new were actually made 40 years ago. That being said everything in this film I could imagine will most likely be very possible, weather its is being used today by governments is a different matter but if I had to say I would guess it is. I don't want to say much about the film it's self but it has got one of the best ending's to a film I have ever seen and even though it's on for just over 2 hours it feels like a 90 minute film. The story has everything you need in a thriller and has moments of humor as you would expect from Will Smith. It also has probably my favorite quote ever in film spoken by Gene Hackman about gorilla warfare and how to use your weakness' as strength's. All in all I just love this film and watched it again yesterday for the first time in about 3 years, and even though I have now seen it around about 10 time's it just seems to get better and better every time. Brilliant film, brilliant acting, brilliant story, AMAZING ending and truer to reality than you would like to think.

I can't believe this has only got a 5.3 rating. I got this lent to me by a friend and watched it on Christmas Eve which is when the film is also set (coincidence). I loved the first one, thought the 2nd was a good follow up but I wasn't expecting what I got for the 3rd. I personally think it is one of the funniest films I've ever seen let alone out of the 3. Mike Epps had me laughing from start to finish and I never thought he could of been funnier than when I seen him in 'All About The Benjamin's' but he just is in this one. Without giving anything away the funniest part of the film for me was when Craig and Day Day were security guards and Day Day thinks he can do anything and say anything to anyone. Honestly I can't express how funny he was being cheeky to everyone who came in contact with him. The whole film just moves along brilliantly and Katt Williams and Terry Crews bring something different to the series. The film is worth watching just to see Terry Crews scream like a woman when Katt Williams has him in a hilarious situation. I don't like to give anything away about a film but will just say that I would recommend this to anyone. I would love to see a final film (Last Friday Of The Month) with Ice Cube, Mike Epps and Chris Tucker in, that would really be a good laugh.

My first sentence has to be, this movie is Jim Carrey at his absolute best. I am a big Carrey fan and love Dumb and Dumber, the Ace Ventura's, Liar Liar, The Mask and more but Me Myself & Irene beats them all hands down. The films about Charlie/Hank who has a split personality and mood swings brought on by allowing people to take advantage of him time and time again. The film just makes me laugh so many times with the phrases Hank says and the faces he pulls. It seems to me that the film doesn't get old neither, even today I can watch it and still be crying at some scenes. There's no point in telling you what happens because that would just spoil the story but I will say that Jim Carrey is pushed to the edge by his wife, friends and work mates until he explodes with hilarious consequences. When he's in the transition from Charlie to Hank, it's sort of like when he puts the mask on in 'The Mask' but its better. The story doesn't slow down and your kept interested by Carrey and Zellweger's on screen chemistry which is why it just keeps moving along at a great pace. I honestly think it's one of the funniest films I've ever seen and it always seems to be the 1st film I think of when someone asks me to recommend a good comedy. Watch it it's worth the time.

This programme is without doubt the greatest comedy-drama Britian has ever produced in my eyes. There isn't 1 single episode that wont make you laugh and every character is played to perfection with there own style of comedy that you will find it hard not to associate with at least one character. Special mention has to go to Jimmy Nail (Oz) and Timothy Spall (Barry) who are both a constent source of enjoyment to watch. The basics of the whole series is, there all working men in a team travelling around the world looking for work. With episodes about them trying to pull women and getting tattoos when there drunk, to being involved with the police and getting in trouble with gangsters, I can honestly say I can not pick a favourite series because each one is outstanding in its own way. If you haven't seen these before, then your missing out and need to rent the 1st series asap. My thought is you wont be disappointed.
