Not Going Out
(2006)

Best British sit-com since Only Fools and Horses
Not Going out is hilarious, the only sit-com that makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. Lee Mack and Time Vine should have been put together years ago.

The best scenes are when Lee Mack and Tim Vine are in the pub. They are given a chance to be at their comedy best.

I also like Miranda Hart and Sally Bretton, they sometimes have better lines than Lee and Tim.

I was in the studio audience for a show in series 3 (yet to be screened at the time of writing.) It's great seeing all the bits that never make it to the screen. You can only see that if you go to a recording. Everybody should go to see a TV show recorded, the tickets are free and it is just as entertaining as the theatre or cinema.

Mock the Week
(2005)

Should go back to original format.
I've liked Mock The Week when it first came out. The reason I liked it was because it introduced a lot of new comedians. People like Russell Howard and Frankie Boyle were not well known when they first appeared on the show.

The problem now is that the show very rarely has new faces on it. I know all the people who appear week in week out. I think there should be two famous team captains, with the rest of the performers being up and coming comedians.

The best bit of the show is scenes we'd like to see. But even that is ruined by the performers barging each other out of the way to get to the microphone.

I hope the show goes back to it's old format soon. Then we can get back to laughing out loud every week.

Family Guy
(1999)

SO much better than the Simpson's
Family Guy is the funniest cartoon ever. It's the only programme that makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it. Peter Griffin is the most hilarious character in any TV series.

Family Guy is better than the Simpson's's because it is much funnier. The Simpson's's ran out of ideas years ago, Family Guy is still fresh.

I love how random this show is. I love the fact that Brian is a talking dog, yet none of the other characters think this is odd.

My favourite character is Stewie. I've never been sure if the others can understand him, but that's all part of the humour. I love his attempts to take over the world.

Family Guy should be prescribed by doctors for anyone who is depressed. If you don't laugh at it then you must have chronic depression.

Happy Hour
(2007)

The best chat show ever
This show is absolutely perfect. It never fails to make me laugh out loud. Al Murray is a brilliant host. He doesn't suck up to the guests, although he isn't nasty either.

Any fan of Happy Hour must go to see it recorded. Al Murray always mucks about during the breaks in filming, which is very funny.

I love it when Al Murray interacts with the audience at the beginning of the show. It proves how good Al Murray is at improvising.

In these days of suffocating political correctness it is good how The Pub Landlord loves everything British. It's good to see someone who says how great Britain is without worrying about upsetting other cultures.
