Class President
(2002)

Just so bland!
I've actually seen this film many times over due to a habit of watching the same channel, and every time I watch it it's always just as bad. This is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. The production value made me think it was from the 70's much less 2002! The audio is terrible, out of sync, and annoying. The acting is bland, terrible, and unimpressive, and not to mention not convincing AT ALL. The jokes are not funny and really not creative and leave you grunting at the screen wondering how any entity could think that's funny. The characters are two dimensional, and are over-acting 90's kids stereotypes, and the adults are no better. The plot line was unrealistic and went way too far with everything it did. Writing was stupid, acting terrible, leaving not an impressionable bad movie, but a VERY bland bad movie. Terrible production value and boring musical score, with the same two songs in the soundtrack played over and over again as if they had copyright trouble with any other song they may have chosen. That makes for a bland, boring movie, leaving no impression what so ever.

Do yourself a favour and pass this one up.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
(2005)

Not the worst thing from Disney...
This most certainly is NOT the worst thing I've seen from Disney. I mean Hannah Montana, Filmore, Lizzie McGuire and such were all WAY worse. But that doesn't make this show funny.

The first few episodes were awful, and I mean AWFUL. But let's give it credit, what show actually starts out good? (Invader Zim, Clannad) But the acting was still awful, the dialogue was pitiful and made no sense, and the plots were not interesting. The episode with the celebrities getting married in the hotel was by far the worst episode in the series, and I'm pretty sure that was the second episode.

Over time, show show got a lot less annoying, but still wasn't good. The stories were always unoriginal and were always modernizing classic stories such as Romeo and Juliet, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, The Princess and the Pea, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and more. Uh, can you make your own stories, please? I must give the show credit, it's one of the few Disney shows that isn't painful to watch. It has a certain appeal, and I can watch it when it's on. When there's nothing else on, sure, I'll watch this show. I did chuckle a few times throughout the series.

However, the laugh tracks, still make me cringe. I've heard the same annoying kids laugh the same annoying laughs in a dozen different shows. If you can't get a real audience, don't make a sitcom! You can make like Zoey 101 and make painful jokes without painful laugh tracks.

Well, this show may be overshadowed by a MUCH better spin-off, but it's not the worst show ever.

Clannad: After Story
(2008)

Cannot be topped...
This series gets very close to perfection. Had a few scenes I didn't like, but overall was almost perfect.

This second season to an amazing start flowed extremely well. By episode 11 of season 1 I was already amazed. That was simply filler compared to this.

The character development was done so well that I could feel every emotion the characters were having, almost as if it were happening to me. That being said, I could really feel the love between Tomoya and Nagisa. They have even more adventures through stories together in this season but by, maybe episode 10 (can't remember exactly) it shoved off the back-stories and focused on Tomoya and Nagisa. This was where the best part of the series took place.

The couple gets married, and moves in together. One line I must address is when everyone is together: Tomoya, Nagisa, Kyou, Ryou, Kotomi, and I think Sunohara, and Kyou wants Tomoya's attention. She addresses him, "Oi, Okazaki!" That being his last name. Both Tomoya and Nagisa answer, as to say they're both Okazaki, their families are merged. I thought it was sweet.

I'm not one to cry in a show or movie, but Nagisa's death, the Ushio moment, and Ushio's death ALL deserved it very well. The music accompanying each moment was absolutely flawless, especially "Snowfield" played in Ushio's death. I even felt like falling into depression at Ushio's death, it was so sad, and the acting was brilliant, and portrayed the pain VERY well.

The happy ending worked out SO well. Personally, I prefer the ending to the movie (watch it constantly) but this one was amazing as well. Besides, after all the sadness from this series, you're praying to god that something happy happens. And sure enough, it does.

This show completely changed my life, without exaggeration. It changed my whole way of thinking to something more thoughtful and deep. It gave me more morals and brightened my spirit. Recommended to EVERYONE. I do not know of one person who saw this and didn't love it. Anyone who desires a brighter state of mind, watch this. It doesn't even matter if you've read the spoilers, I watched the movie first and got the effect I should have from the series.

Clannad
(2007)

An amazing film
I must start out by saying people put strikes against this movie because they thought they had changed things that were so good in the show, mainly the song "Dango Daikazoku". These people are mistaken, nothing was changed. The movie came BEFORE the show, so those strikes should not exist.

I guess the main reason people didn't like this movie was because of the quality of the show. I watched the movie first, and with an open mind, and found it amazing. Sure, some parts got very goofy, but most of the scenes did really well in giving the characters personality. Sure, you didn't get back stories for anyone, but that would make the movie too long. This was still a very deep, emotional movie. It really makes you think.

The ending was something the movie really had over the show. Don't get me wrong, I still adore the ending to the show, but the movie ending had a much better metaphor and was more believable. No matter how much I love the show, I still look at the movie as the bit of nostalgia that really hooked me on Clannad.

Guitar Hero: World Tour
(2008)

I hated it
I just thought this was a disgrace. The song selection was decent, and being able to make your own songs is cool, but they still ruined it. Let's talk about the full pack. The drum set is awful. It double hits, which is a REAL pain while trying to create a song, it limits you to just two cymbals, and just three pads, which makes drum rolls and cymbal changing awkward, and the bass pedal is disconnected. While I'm using it, it slides away from me, so I have to pause and pull it back, which makes gameplay videos impossible. The guitar is also bad. The slider is badly done, and pointless. And the D-Pad is simply stupid. It's a circle, so it is near impossible to hit the arrow the you want. Let's talk about game-only, now. First of all, it does not chart every drum thing you do, which I just didn't understand, and speaking of drums, what is up with them? Adding that orange note was a HUGE mistake, because it makes saving money, buying it game-only and using a Rock Band drumset, so hard. Making a song is impossible without a decent cymbal, so that's out of the question; and Everlong is just awkward on drums, either way, but more awkward with Rock Band drums. Vocals, are also messed up, why do I need to get the right pitch for talking and screaming? Besides, vocals were just unnecessarily hard anyway. Now, the song selection is good, but gets boring fast, because of the large limit to songs. And it doesn't list them by difficulty, nor do you have the option to do so, so it makes trying out new songs, or being new to the game, very difficult. Also, the presentation, and the Rock meter was MUCH better done in GH3, and the rock meter and multiplyer were more noticeable, in all other Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, with this tiny one and the HORRIBLE graphics and presentation, you almost never know when you've missed a note. And I'd like my note streak to be a bit more presented like in GH3, please?
