A Real Life Superhero
When I saw Jackie put on that 42 jersey and walk out on the first game as a Dodger, I couldn't help but to see him as a real life superhero. Now I am not a fan of baseball, but I just couldn't dislike the movie. It is such a heartwarming and compelling real life story of a man who made it against all the odds. Jackie Robinson became on of the greatest of all times, helped shape the sport, inspired and changed people's view on racism.

I have no complaints. The cast did a brilliant job in portraying the characters. The story was interesting and well told, kept my attention all throughout. I only thought the movie could have been even longer, I wouldn't mind it. It felt like the story was rushed even with 2 hours.

So even if you are not a sports fan or if you dislike baseball, I can't recommend this movie enough. It deals with cultural, psychological and spiritual themes and shows us the strength of a human spirit. The message I got out if it is to never stop believing in yourself, even in toughest of times. 9/10

Brilliant Poker Movie
I love poker and I like watching poker so I knew I was gonna love this movie. The story follows a poker genius who's dream is to go to Vegas and play in Poker World Championship. However that dream has to be put on hold because his friend got out of jail and he has some debts he has to pay.

This movie was pretty solid, I don't have anything to complain about. Story progression was good, characters were compelling and actors did a great job. You can't go wrong with Matt Damon and Ed Norton. I am a big fan of both of them. So even if you don't like poker you should see this movie. It is for everybody because it will keep you interested all throughout. I gave it an 8 because, for me, it didn't amaze me enough for a higher mark. But I still believe that it is a brilliant poker movie and you should definitely see it.

A Feel Good Story
I didn't know what to expect from this movie except for it to be a comedy. But as it turned out, it is not a comedy at all, at least not in a way that is trying to get your laughs. The movie is more of a romantic drama. It follows a woman that lives a boring everyday life and her routine changes when she meats a man that tells her about her son whom she gave away at birth. And suddenly her life and priorities change.

A "feel good story" is a best way to describe this movie. I don't have much to complain about, the movie is pretty straight forward and I guess it achieved what it was aiming for. If you like these kind of movies then you might enjoy it. I thought it was an OK movie and 6 worthy. You could check it out if there's nothing else.

Do Not Waste Your Time
I suppose most people knew what to expect when choosing to see this movie. If you were thinking about party, drugs, sex appeal and guns, well that is exactly what you got. This movie was cashing in on Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens and if it wasn't for the two of them, I don't know who would go and see this.

Now I'll have to rip it apart. This garbage HAS NO FREAKING PLOT. Nothing is happening in the whole damn movie. I was bored out of my mind all throughout. I cannot believe that 4000 people gave this thing a 10. A 10! What a joke! Those people are putting too much thought into this and I can understand their point of view but that doesn't change the fact that this movie is BAD. The whole movie is just a random mess that leaves you wondering why was it even made. But then again, maybe that was the point.

Random scenes, no sympathy for the characters, dumb story and no plot makes this a waste of 90 minutes. But I still give it a 3, I don't know why but I don't like giving 1's. If nothing else James Franco was pretty decent. I recommend you avoid this garbage, go see a real movie.

Just because it's Cheech & Chong
I can't say that I'm a biggest fan of Cheech & Chong. I saw a few movies, they were pretty silly and funny, and I do like the guys. However this show was for hardcore fans only, not so much for casual fans. Comedy was centered on pot, fart and sex jokes, as it usually is with these two. They brought back many of their old characters which whom I was not familiar with.

But to me it wasn't that funny. It's not like I was offended or anything like that. They managed to get a few short laughs and smirks out of me throughout the whole show. I am a pothead too and maybe I should have smoked some before watching it, I'm sure it would have made it more enjoyable.

But I can't ignore the fact that the crowd went crazy over them and laughed all throughout. It was nice to see them still doing the same thing after all these years and I'm sure the fans appreciated it. To me the show wasn't that amusing but I gave it a generous 5 just because it's Cheech & Chong.
