Red Water
(2003)

Enough is enough.
I really am getting tired of the lame Jaws rip-offs. The original Jaws was fairly good, admittedly, but enough is enough already! This appears to be yet another made-for-TV movie attempt to resurrect the ailing career of Lou Diamond Phillips. Sadly, all the `Bats' and `Red Waters' of the world won't be able to do that. Pick some better projects, buddy!

Bats
(1999)

Ugh!
Yet another made-for-TV stinker starring Lou Diamond Phillips, `Bats' is probably one of the saddest attempts at a horror film I've ever seen. Imagine Alfred Hitchcock's `The Birds.' Now take away every good Hitchcock element of the film and replace the birds with mutant bats with a taste for human flesh. Mix in a dash of torrid acting by washed up actors and a predictably dull plot and you have the modern marvel of cinema that is `Bats.' This movie takes itself too seriously to be laughed at like other bad horror films. Avoid at all costs.

American Playhouse: Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
(1983)

Don't Even Bother
I consider myself a very generous movie watcher who can find at least some entertainment value in even the worst productions, but Overdrawn at the Memory Bank is too awful to get any fun from. Atrocious special effects, a poorly implemented plot, terrible acting, and criminally bad dialogue make this film just plain unwatchable. It was so bad even the creative and talented writers of MST3K had a hard time making fun of this film. Just don't bother with this.

Il mondo di Yor
(1983)

Unintentional Comedy
Yor, Hunter From the Future easily falls into the "it's so bad it's good" category. I have never laughed so hard in my life at a film. No comedy has every produced the side-splitting, tear inducing laughter that Yor has. It's too bad this film was not intended as a comedy, but rather as a science fiction/ fantasy epic.

This movie just screams cheese. It features a story riddled with plot holes (caveman on a quest to find himself runs into a superior race of beings that want to kill him... but don't explain why); randomly occuring events (random laser fire demolishing cavemen villages); criminally bad dialogue; an 80's cheese rock score; horrendous special effects (lasers firing out of weapons at obviously wrong angles); and possibly one of the most ineffective movie villains of all time: THE OVERLORD.

It's so bad it has to be seen to be believed.
