Lord Have Mercy!
(2003)

Ha ha ha
Oh my goodness, this show is quite funny I must say. Being that I'm West Indian, Trinidad to be exact, seeing the many West Indian elements of this show, which is set in Canada, it is quite refreshing. Dennis "Spragalang" Hall is his usual light-natured self as the church's head pastor. Sister Hope is your typical senior church member, every now and then, she indulges the usual church gossip. Rachel Price is wonderful as the youth pastor Gooding's wife. Pastor Gooding is a clueless youth pastor who never has any idea what to do, if there's a problem, he makes it bigger. Kent and Crystal are also very refreshing to see, Kent, being a young man trying to find his way and Crystal, a young girl, dealing with the many issues of adolescence. And of course, there's Russell Peters, who plays Ryan. He is one of the prime characters that add humour to this show, in a sort of sexual and indecent kind of way. It's a lovely show, nothing spectacular, but good show all in all.

Get Smart
(2008)

Funniest movie of the year
I went with my three girlfriends to see this movie and I gotta say, wow, it was great from beginning to end. Steve Carell, great comedic performance. He had the whole audience laughing with his clever dialogue and eccentric-natured humour. The movie is well set out in terms of settings and locations, as well as characters. I must say, almost all of the main characters contributed so nicely to the humour in the film. This movie has the audience laughing so much, it was like every other minute, something funny was taking place. Great movie, forget those critics, you will definitely enjoy this one. My only disappointment, I didn't like who the main villain was. 9/10.

A Guy Thing
(2003)

This was actually good.
Despite what many IMDB users think, I actually had quite a lot of laughs watching this movie. It's about this man, Paul, (Jason Lee) who's going to marry Karen (Selma Blair) but somehow, after his bachelor party, he wakes up next to Karen's cousin Becky (Julia Stiles). The audience never really knows whether or not Paul and Becky had sex but throughout the movie, Paul is just telling lie after lie after lie. I found it hilarious when Paul starts to foresee what he thinks will happen if he were to reveal the truth. This is a movie guys should watch because exactly how Paul reacts to the whole thing with Becky may be the same way in real life how some men would react. I love the way Paul tried to hide from Becky at the dinner I believe it was. Julia Stiles can do anything, she can do drama and she can do comedy, I love Julia, I think she's got a lot of talent. The highlight of this movie is all of Paul's antics and lies, reminded me of men and their overwhelmingly strange behavioural patterns towards women. Regardless of if the movie did or did not do well at the Box Office, it still has those humurous moments that kept me interested and laughing hella hard of course. Rating 7.5/10.

The Passion of the Christ
(2004)

Oh my God, Astonishing, Amazing and Phenomenal!
(May contain spoilers)

This movie could not have been any better than it already is. As a strong believer in the Catholic Faith, I must say, this movie has it all. To me, "The Passion of The Christ" gives people a very realistic depiction of the last hours in the life of Jesus Christ. Jim Caviezel was the perfect man to portray Jesus Christ, superb acting. I didn't mind the subtitles at all. The use of the Aramaic language makes it even more real to experience. This movie is one that I will never forget, never. The funny thing is, I know that Jesus Christ suffered a lot for the sake of mankind but after seeing this movie, and seeing what the made-for-TV movies didn't show, I was so shocked. I had no idea they beat Jesus so much. The brutal and cruel violence began about fifteen minutes into the film. There was a scene where they hung Jesus with a rope and dropped him like nothing. I had to turn my face when Jesus was in the middle of the crowd and they beat him about his body, first on his back, then the front. The violence was so gory and raw, it was so so brutal and cruel and heinous. I mean, normally, if I watch movies with that kinda gore, I'd get a little scared but I sat through this one until I had to cry because the emotional theme of the movie just got to me. This film shows the amazing fight that Jesus Christ had put up. No man could take that much of a beating on so many occasions and still get up, being in a bloody state, his skin all lacerated and ripped apart. As a Catholic, I'd recommend all Catholics to see it, everyone should see it. I'm telling you, it's a movie you just cannot miss. If you miss it in the cinemas, rent it or buy the DVD. I definitely have to get a copy of this movie, it's a classic movie that I will never forget, beautifully directed by Mel Gibson, he did what he set out to do and I must say to Mel Gibson, a very good job well done. Rating 10/10.

College Hill
(2004)

Oh my goodness, what the hell is this?
This has to be one of the dumbest and most useless shows BET has ever given the green light to. Firstly there is no explaination as to why they put these people in this house, are they going to school, you know, what the hell is this show really about? And oh yeah, the commercial for it just kills me, "You've never seen Reality TV like this, don't miss College Hill", you damn right I've never seen anything like this and that's not necessarily a good thing. Whenever I happen to catch a glimpse of this show, I have to wonder, what is the damn point? Then the next part that is so so typical for nearly all reality shows is the type casting. For example, they cast a player, a slutty like girl, another girl who think's she's perfect, a Rueben Studdard look alike and a guy who, in my opinion, has no idea what his sexual identity is. I wish the show was more exciting because it's pretty much the same thing almost every week. I was expecting to see a BET version of the "Real World" but wow, I mean, I looked forward to this show so much, I was expecting the unexpected but I was so disappointed. Shows like these should be left in the cutting room or be cancelled all together. Rating- 2/10.

Barbershop
(2002)

Awww man, this was so damn funny.
(May contain slight spoilers)

My goodness, I really enjoyed this movie. It had me laughing from the very beginning. The movie focuses mainly around a barbershop that serves as a sort of open forum where people discuss current or past issues as well as some famous black historical faces. Ice Cube plays the owner of the barbershop. I found Cedric's character Eddie to be very funny because the guy didn't give a damn! He said anything he wanted, when he wanted, in front of who he wanted and about who he wanted to talk about. Eve in one of her major acting roles, she is a very good actress. I could definitely see her doing like a tonne of movies in the future. Troy Garity's character, Isaac, this guy was so black, he had it all, the bad ride, the fine girl with the big rump, all that. This guy Sean Patrick Thomas played, named Jimmy James, wow, one of the most annoying characters I have ever seen in a movie. But the most and biggest highlight of the movie for me was Michael Ealy who played Ricky Nash. As a young woman, I must ask, where did he get those gorgeous eyes?! Every time he came on, I just had to stare, he's so beautiful. I like that the comedy in the movie just kept flowing continuously. This movie also sparked contraversy (I can't spell this word so well, it confuses me) which I couldn't understand. It's fictitious, hello, whomever has a problem, get a life. This movie has a variety of characters and this made the movie worth watching. The members of the cast portrayed their characters very well I think and I must see the second part to this movie, who knows, there might even be a Barbershop 3. Rating- 9.5/10

The Transporter
(2002)

Wasn't what I expected but still action packed
So this movie has a story line that was really kinda messed up moving towards the middle of the movie but still, the action sequences were off the hook. Jason Statham was so good in this movie better than he was in "The One". Like I had said about another review, I was waiting for the big "punch line" or whatever in the movie but again I was disappointed. I did like Matt Schulze who played the lead villain. Overall, The Transporter was not the best action film I've seen in a while but it still has something worth watching. 6/10.

Flirting
(1991)

Huh?
I watched this movie for the first time on November 8th 2003 and boy oh boy, I was just waiting for something spontaneous to happen but I was disappointed. I mean, where, how, what, who? I don't know what else to say but it all seemed so pointless to me. Whomever understands this movie, good for you.

Shaft
(2000)

Samuel L. Jackson is the man.
I saw this movie quite a few times and I loved watching it every time. So it wasn't like the original but who cares? Shaft takes place in New York I believe and Samuel L. Jackson did a good job of portraying Shaft. He was a bad ass cop who wasn't afraid of anyone. The movie is mostly about Shaft trying to find a witness on the run named Diane Palmieri (Toni Collette). He has the help of Vanessa Williams' character, sorry if I don't remember the name. I liked the scenes where Shaft just played the boss and kicked some ass. He ruled the streets. There were a few moments in the movie that made me laugh for quite some time. John Singleton did a good job and he has a trademark of making a cameo appearance in the movies he directs. He played the bored police officer drinking the coffee outside the prison. I don't have much else to say but Christian Bale was good as well as People's Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright). I give this movie 9.5/10. I'd definitely rent and watch this over and over and over again.

Unfaithful
(2002)

Kept me engrossed the whole time.
I watched this movie on cable TV and I must say that from the very beginning, I was interested. Diane Lane plays Connie Sumner who, one day, bumps into a man named Paul Martel (Olivier Martinez). It seemed to me that she liked him from the very beginning but hesitated because she was unsure. I liked the story line and I thought that the story just flowed with the events that were taking place. This movie is your typical man/woman-has-an-affair-and-his/her-spouse-later-finds-out-later movie.

Diane Lane was great in this movie. I especially liked the scene where she was on the train remembering what she did and she was laughing with herself. Richard Gere was great as well as Olivier Martinez who made me laugh quite a few times with his clever one liners (there's no such thing as a mistake). I like the way the movie ended. For those who haven't seen it as yet, I won't give away the ending but I didn't expect it to end that way but it was still a good ending. The scene where the police question Connie, it was so good because you could tell that her husband knew she was lying and she knew that he knew that she was not telling the truth. Overall, this movie is definitely worth watching. It is very much like a suspense but really erotic. Adrian Lyne does a good job of directing a well written script. Diane Lane, I have nothing but respect for her, I think she's a very talented actress who is gonna be around for a long time. Olivier Martinez, only one word to describe his performance, SEXY. (He's sexy other than that) Richard Gere was great. I'd love to watch this again and again. Rating: 9.1/10

Austin Powers in Goldmember
(2002)

Funny
I loved the movie. Mike Meyers does it again. I especially like the scene where they met the mole and Austin Powers couldn't help but to notice it. Now that was so funny. I am a huge fan of Beyonce' Knowles. I think she is definitely a successful crossover artist from music to film (also Mandy Moore). Not many artists can act as good but she pulls it off in this movie. I would have still wanted to see the scene with Heather Graham. They later deleted her scenes. I wonder why. I loved this flick and I give it 9.5/10. (I heard there's a part 4, can't wait to see that)

The Wash
(2001)

On contrary to other people's view, I thought this was funny.
Now I know many people might not agree with me but then again, I don't give a s**t. This movie had me laughing at nearly every scene, especially Slim Shady who played this mentally deranged prank caller. I laughed so hard at everything. Some parts left me in wonder but whatever, I couldn't help but laugh. I liked it and honestly I would watch it again and again.

Spider-Man
(2002)

Spectacular!
I liked watching this movie because it had something that many other actions movies lack. I can't name it but there is definitely something. I think it was great that they chose Tobey Maguire to play Spiderman/Peter Parker. He looks so innocent and sweet yet he can take out the bad guys. Tobey Maguire was awesome as Spiderman and I can't picture anyone else playing Spiderman. I like Willem Dafoe (I can't spell his name too well) as the Green Gobler. He was the absolute perfect villain. I have always been somewhat of a fan of Kirsten Dunst. She was great in Bring It On as well as Small Soldiers. She's a very talented actress and she was great in this movie. I heard that they were considering Tara Reid and Kate Hudson for the role of Mary Jane. Nah. Kirsten's the perfect Mary Jane. Aside from the awesome performances in the movie, one thing caught my eyes when I watched it again and again and that were th many goofs in the movie. I saw an abundance while I was watching but tell me something, who goes to the movies to spot goofs when there's a mystical web slinger sailing through the air. Nobody. This movie was definitely the best action movie of 2002. I admire all the people who worked hard to make this movie what it is. A lot of other movies could follow the example of magnificent film making like Spiderman (stupid movies in particular like Mission Impossible II and XXX). Spiderman gets your adrenaline pumping as you wait in anticipation for some other spectacular action sequence that is about to come. The movie was perfect in every sense I'd say. This movie was released in Trinidad about a month after it was released in the US. There was a big rush but I got in and I was glad because Spiderman did not disappoint me. I was thoroughly with this movie. It left me wanting to see it again and again and again and again. I loved the special effects. That's one of the things that attracts me about movies, the special effects. I liked the shots where it looked like you were getting a view from Spiderman's eyes of how he swung down from the buildings through the traffic and back up again. The kiss between Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, I thought it should have been longer but yet it was awesome, first time I've ever seen something like that. This movie gets 9.7/10 from me because I loved it!

Bad Boys
(1995)

An awesome thrill ride!
(WARNING: THERE MAY BE SPOILERS)

This is absolutely without question, one of the best action movies I have ever seen. I am a huge fan of Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. They pulled it off perfectly. The film is about two cops who switch lives while trying to recover stolen dope. Tea Leoni plays Julie Mott, the witness. Will Smith plays Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence plays Marcus Burnett. Will is the more serious one and Martin provides the humour which is an important element in an action flick, there must be a laugh or two. I could go on and on about everything I liked about this film. I liked the scene where they were in the shop and Will and Martin broke out into this huge argument after the shop clerk pulled a gun on them. I also liked the scene where Julie tells Marcus that she thought he was gay. That was so funny. I read on the IMDb under Trivia for Bad Boys that that whole scene was improvised, director Michael Bay told Martin Lawrence that he could improvise. Good job. I like how the movie ended and I cannot wait to see Bad Boys 2. I give this 10/10, awesome action/comedy!!

Hey Monie!
(2003)

It's a really nice show.
I didn't see the first episodes that aired on BET but after time passed, I caught onto it and I actually liked it. You could say it mostly relates to black women. "Hey Monie" is about a woman named Simone (Voiced by Angela Shelton) a.k.a. Monie who just puts up the day to day trials and tribulations of a black woman. I like Chad. He has a huge crush on Simone and she knows this too. Luis, he's the type of guy who acts full of himself but still looks good. I love watching this show and I hope BET would continue to air it because it's all right. It makes me laugh and it's fun to watch.

xXx
(2002)

How disappointing!
(MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER OR TWO BUT THEN THE WHOLE MOVIE IS A SPOILER)

I remember when this movie first came into theatres and I was so pumped to go see it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go to the cinema and I am glad I didn't waste my $15 to $20 on going to see this film. Here you have Vin Diesel (The Fast and The Furious) playing some kind of athlete that is recruited for some job or so, whatever it is. The trailer looked a lot better to watch than this film itself. What the hell went wrong in this film?! It was so dumb and stupid, the plot I'm referring to. One minute you're sitting there watching XXX about to punch or blow some other guy's lights out and then, wham! It's all a test. The movie was just not what I expected. Vin Diesel, no doubt, I think he's a really talented actor with a super hot body. He was better in "The Fast and The Furious". By far. Vin Diesel could have done so much better than to sign on to do this crappy movie. They should have put somebody with no talent to play XXX, not try to ruin Vin Diesel. This movie could have been a lot better but like I said before, it was the biggest disappointment I've ever seen from Vin Diesel. He could have been in a much better action film. He even got $10,000,000 or so I heard for this pile of bullcrap, huh, his gain. I would love to know who came up with such a shallow and flat story and then to have Rob Cohen direct it, someone is trying to ruin his film directing career too. Asia Argento, she was good. I liked her character (Yelena). I like the way she kept Xander Cage waiting and wanting more of her, that's the way to do it. Half way through this movie, all I could say is, "But wait, this is the pile of s**t my friend told me was so good that I'd go see it again and again?". Whoo, somebody wasn't watching the movie. I hear that they are going to make a sequel, due out in 2005, I hope to God, the sequel will be better because most of the time, the first movie is usually better but sometimes the sequel just delivers (X2-X men United, The Matrix Reloaded). I don't think I could ever watch this movie again. Half the time I was watching it, ugh!!!, gosh!! This movie reeked of smelly diapers full of crap. This movie was so stupid that even a baby would cry while looking at it! This was the worst movie of 2002 and it deserves a 0000000.1 out of 100! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON RENTING OR BUYING THIS STUPID MOVIE ON VHS OR DVD!

The Proud Family
(2001)

Nice show.
I began watching this show a good while back and I found it to be quite good. I look forward to watching this cartoon everyday. I love the characters, especially Dijoney (Karen Malina White) and Sticky (Orlando Brown). It's a great show for viewers of all ages I think. I get quite a few laughs out of watching this show. It's not one of the best shows Disney has produced but it's definitely gonna be around for a long time.

Charlie's Angels
(2000)

Girls kick ass!
This movie was good with respect to the action and fight sequences. I had waited for so long to see it. I first saw it when I was in school and they were playing it in the Multimedia room. Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu rocked! I thought the whole movie was entertaining and just plain fun. I only wished that the fight scene between Cameron Diaz and Kelly Lynch was extended. I love to see women kick each other's butt because the average action movie mostly features men kicking each other's butt. Bill Murray as Bosley, a huge mistake. I personally do not find Bill Murray that entertaining to watch and I wish he was never in the movie first to begin with. BILL MURRAY IS NOT FUNNY AND I CANNOT STAND HIM. I found that as I was watching, Cameron Diaz got the best of everything, the fight scenes, the outfits and the best make-up and such. Lucy Liu is awesome in her own right as well as Drew Barrymore. What were they thinking when they put an IDIOT like Tom Green to act as Chad. Couldn't they get someone better?! Tom Green's a stupid fruitcake quack who's only way of making money is toilet humour. HE IS ANNOYING AND STUPID AND JUST A PLAIN JACKASS. The scenes of the movie were very nice, especially the house where Dylan fell out of the window. There are several things I still don't understand like the scene where they see the thin man (Crispin Glover) at Corwin's party. How'd they go from armless dresses to tight, long sleeved apparel? I kinda left me in the dark a bit. But the one thing that kept me watching was the theme, GIRLPOWER. I was glad to see female action heroes. They are all very talented actresses and I cannot wait to see the sequel. 9.6/10

X2
(2003)

EXCELLENT
I only have one thing to say about this movie. AWESOME! It was by far, better than the first movie. I like the new characters especially Pyro, he's my dad's favourite. Everything was well done, the action and fight sequences were off the hook. But I only had one problem and that was why couldn't they have more of Lady Deathstrike (Kelly Hu). There was only one scene where she released her claws. But other than that, perfect. 10/10

Even Stevens
(2000)

OH MY GOSH, THIS IS SOOO FUNNY!
I get a ball out of watching this show everyday. I love it! My favourite character is Louis (Shia LaBeouf). He is so funny and not to mention cute. He's always coming up with these "half baked" schemes and then someone is always blaming him for something or the other. Donny, Beans, Steve, Eileen, they are all wonderful. Donny's a bit of a flake though. Tawny is good as well as Twitty. However let's get dirty. Then there is Ren. Now I'm not perfect but then who is. She acts too perfect for me. Christy Romano Carlson can act really good and all but the one thing I hate to see her do is sing. I HATE TO HEAR HER SING. PLEASE. She cannot sing. What about that episode with the surfers. There she is singing "Surf's up, let it roll, let it rock, let it roll". Her annoying high pitched sh**ty voice drowns out everyone else in it. UGH! Ren, words of advice, don't sing, please, just don't. She could cause Monsoon rains to start! I love Louis though. He's the only reason I watch. He's funny and he makes the show what it is and it couldn't have been better.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
(1990)

THE BEST COMEDY OF ALL TIME!!!!!
I absolutely love this show! I cannot ever recall an episode in which I did not laugh. Will Smith is so hilarious, everything he says always cracks me up. He also has this way of making eye contact with the camera whenever he's done something stupid or did something clever. I love the way Will always picks on Carlton and Uncle Phil. Will Smith, I think he's one of the best megastars in the world today. Vivian (Daphane Maxwell Reid and Janet Hubert Whitten), both portrayed the character excellently I must say. Carlton, what can I say? He always cracks me up. I'll never forget the episode where he and Will were imprisoned and Carlton started freaking out, wow, man, I literally fell down laughing away. Ashley (Tatyana Ali) I love her character. Uncle Phil (James Avery), he's a lawyer turned judge and a father who teaches good moral values to his children. I love his character. There is also Geoffrey. Wow, he is the most sarcastic butler around. He always makes fun of Uncle Phil and boy do I get off with laughter whenever I see him. But the show only had one problem and that was the character Hilary. No offence to Karyn Parsons whom I think is a beautiful and talented actress but the character of Hilary was seriously messed up. Here you have a 21 year old woman still living with her parents and won't go out to look for a job. All she concerned with is the way she looks. I think Hilary was the most annoying person on show. I HATED HILARY. She shouldn't have been like that. Gosh, everytime I had to see her, I would switch the channel until that part was gone. But nevertheless, I still loved the show. I've been watching the reruns since 2000 and I must say, I never get fed up of it. I look forward to it EVERYDAY. I was surprised that it was not included on RANK's Top 25 comedies of all time. This show should have at the top. If anyone does not think this show is funny, then something must be wrong. If I feel depressed and need a good laugh, all I have to do is watch this show and get tonnes of jokes. I wish they would have like the whole 5 or 6 seasons on DVD or VHS so I could go buy it. I give this show two thumbs up. Rating- 10/10, 100% Pure and raw comedy!

That's So Raven
(2003)

Nice show.
Okay, so this show may not be all that but man, I gotta say, it's still good enough to watch. The show stars Raven who plays a psychic teenager. This show makes me laugh so much, I am so serious. I love it as a matter of fact. I'll never forget the episode where she had put on the fat suit and was dancing in the hallways, laugh out loud. Chelsea (Anneliese Van Der Pool), she cracks me up the way she never gets it. But she can act good enough I'd say. She just needs to get a clue though. And Eddie (Orlando Brown), he's great. He always gets mixed up in Raven's schemes. He's kinda like the innocent one. Corey is also cool. I love the way Corey is clever and is always doing something tricky. However, the parents, they're okay but the father, he's a bit too flat and I don't know how to summarise him but no, the show needs a new dad. The one they have, i hate to say it but HE SUCKS. One thing that always stands out is the teacher who spits, Mr. Lawler. One thing I don't understand is that when MR. Lawler is talking to them and spitting, in real life, a person would move away, I know I would. BUT THEY JUST STAY THERE AND GET CLOBBERED WITH SPIT! EWW! MOVE AWAY! That's gross. And you can see that it's real, these huge junks of spit pelting, gosh, that's so gross. I like that Raven Symone has made a comeback. She is a very talented young lady and I've watched her grow up from the Cosby Show to Dr. Dolittle to Zenon to That's so Raven. I love her, she's awesome. The thing I also like about the show is the way Raven always misinterprets her visions and does something stupid. And who could forget Stinky Sturkey, I mean Ben Sturkey. He must smell real bad to actually knock people inconscious. Disney constantly airs reruns of the show, so much that I only have to see the first scene of the episode to know what they're gonna say for the entire show. I think there should be new episode each week. But anyways, I love the show, Good Job Raven.

The Cosby Show
(1984)

I LOVE THIS SHOW!! BRILLIANT ACTING!!
I have been watching this show for over 4 years and it has the best set of laughs I have ever gotten. I love it. Bill Cosby represented exactly what my dad was like. The only thing that was wrong with the show was that everything was too "perfect". They were too perfect with the storyline but other than that, it had a lot of funny parts. I like the characters especially the boy, Peter, the neighbour who's only trade mark in the show was to run away whenever he smelled trouble. He never spoke often either. Rudy was also a nice girl to watch except when she started to get older and felt too big for her age, please. I like Theo and his philosophies. Clair was the perfect working woman and house wife, a good example of a mother to watch. I also liked the little boy, Kenny although his ideas about women were blatantly sexist. Elvin and Sondra, okay, those two were just crazy in love and didn't know it until they got married and had kids. Even when they did, they were still confused. Denise, I never liked her. She was not funny and she tried hard to be. Then she's a part time rebel, that, I just did not get. Many people don't like to watch this show now and maybe it's because its final season ended about 10 years ago. But if this show were to still be around today, many people would still tune in. When this show first aired, I wasn't even born yet. I'm only 16. As the 90's rushed by, I started watching and fell in love. I think that this show is a big part of film history because it was not just a hilarious comedy about a black family but it was the number 1 TV series back in the 80's. No doubt. Bill Cosby had represented the all American dad in this show. His words and crazy antics, such as when he tried to patch up the cake with the napkin and covered it with icing, that was too funny! I have seen every episode over 20 times and each time, it still manages to keep me laughing. If I could get all the episodes on video or DVD, I'd more than save up my money and buy it! To me, no other television series could compare to this show. It is a shame that they all grew up and the show ended but while it lasted, it was great. I'm glad some cable stations still broadcast it, it just brings back a lot of fun memories. Rating, 9.98/10.

You Wish!
(2003)

Wonderful Family Flick
This movie is so awesome! I loved it! A.J. Trauth is so cute and Lalaine is so talented. I like the storyline and the ending is just great and emotional. It made me shed a tear. The story mainly revolves around Alex (A.J.) who makes a wish and then realises that it was a mistake. I even felt sorry for him at times during the movie because Abby (Lalaine) didn't first wanna talk to him after he made the wish. Spencer Breslin was also cute and I am a big fan of them all. Tim Reid makes an appearance as well, well done job, Tim. The acting was also well done. I was doing my homework when this movie premiered on Disney and it completely got my attention. I closed my books and just kept watching until it finished. One thing I noticed with this movie is that unlike many other Disney channel original movies I've seen before, the musical score is fabulous, a sort of suspense-mixed-with-a-happy-ending type of music. This movie will leave you touched and happy at the end. Rating- 9/10.

Black Knight
(2001)

A Disgrace to "comedies" everywhere!!!!!!
This movie is a blatant disgrace to "comedies" (and I use that term lightly) everywhere. I was really stunned that people actually spent their money to see this bulls***!!! I am out of words, really, I don't know what to say because I was really appalled when I first saw it. I pray that no one would waste their money to rent and see this pile of dog s***!!! Please, if you are drunk when you're going to rent this, sober up!! If you're sober and you're going to rent this, sober up some more!! Martin Lawrence has really disappointed his fans by making this movie. I am truly disappointed!!!! Why could the film be like "Blue Streak" or "Bad Boys". Those were good movies! Very good Martin Lawrence flicks! Go rent those for a change!! I feel bad the producers and everyone to do with this film because they have made a hall-of-fame box-office flop!!! Extremely flat and disappointing, I can't use any other word but disappointing to express how I felt when I saw it. Rating-0.000000000000000000001/10!!!!! It sucks big time!!!!!
