Felt kind of unnecessary Adonis, who is in his late 20s in the movie behaves more like he's in his very early 20s, actually seems to have regressed mentally since the first movie (perhaps too many punches to the head?).
This behavior was more understandable for the character during the first movie, he was younger, had mostly been by himself, had not met Rocky nor Bianca, hadn't become a world champion, nor found love.
Out of the multiple unrealistic parts of the entire movie (which have become more grounded since the 80s) was that I couldn't believe how a professional boxer would train like this.
During a training montage Adonis gets punched several times, (begins bleeding internally?), a significant amount of blood comes out of his mouth and his trainers and sparring partner would just encourage him to stand up to keep training for the fight... WTF.
The ending was good, the way they wrapped Rocky's, Adonis's and the Drago's stories.
But the rest of the film fell somewhat flat and 'rehashy', unlike the previous installment there was no shuffle of the formula.
4/10 because of it's 'Rocky saga DNA', not displaying the villains as generic and Stallone's presence.
