Behind Her Eyes
(2021)

Incredible
I don't get why there are so many bad ratings and reviews on this. I thought this show was so good and the plot twist at the end was mind-blowing. It kept me guessing until the very end and even if you think you can predict what's gonna happen at the end, you can't. And then if you go back and watch it after knowing what happens there are so many clues and details to catch. I loved it and if you enjoy twist endings like I do then I definitely recommend watching. I wish I could watch it again for the first time. It's been at least a month since I finished it and I still can't stop thinking about it. One of the best shows I've seen in a while.

Dare Me
(2019)

Not good at all
Boring, unrealistic, bad acting, and not one single character is likable. I keep waiting for something big and exciting to happen and it never does. It always tries to be dramatic and mysterious, but it's not that at all cause nothing happens! I'm disappointed at the end of every episode even though I should be used to it by now. Even if one of the characters does die, I don't think I'll even care at this point especially since I don't like any of them. Don't waste your time watching this like I have.

Last Christmas
(2019)

Bad writing and awkward
I love Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, and Paul Feig but this movie was just horrible. It was kind of cheesy with a predictable and depressing storyline. It's like they tried too hard to be funny and it just wasn't. Instead it came off as weird, awkward, and dumb. Just really bad writing.

Dead to Me
(2019)

So addicting
I watched the whole first season in one day. I don't think I've ever done that with a show before. I just had to keep watching the next one to find out what happened next. It had me so intrigued. It finds the perfect way to be funny even though it's a dark storyline. Christina and Linda have the best chemistry like they really are best friends. I loved it!

Sharp Objects
(2018)

Don't waste your time.
Slow. Boring. Depressing. Slow. Weird. Dark. Slow.

The majority of this show is watching the characters (usually the main character who is drinking 95% of the time, listening to music, and having dark, random flashbacks) drive around this rough, weird town visiting either a bar, or the woods, or different people's houses to talk to them. That's basically it. The characters just stare at each other from across the way for a majority of it as well. I had to make myself finish this and half the time I wasn't in the mood to be depressed again. Hardly any of the characters are likeable. It was just terrible. I would often wonder where this story was going and when it would finally get there. The ending was a bit of a shock, but also not really..my mom asked me who I thought the killer was before we watched the finale and I said the sister. Low and behold. She was just too creepy and sociopathic for a normal teenager. And the town only suspecting those two people and never anyone else? It was obvious it wasn't either one of them!

-The storyline about the mother at the end seemed so random, having nothing to do with the rest of the episodes yet that's what most of the ending was about.

-There were a lot of unanswered questions that they didn't explain. Example: what that shed was for?

-What was with the teenage girls always roller skating around town like it was the 70s? Who does that anymore?

It was just an awful show and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I wish I could get those 8+ hours of my life back. You couldn't pay me to watch that again.

I never read the book, but I usually like Amy Adams and I liked Gone Girl a lot so I was highly disappointed.
