Baseline
(2010)

Jamie foreman is the man
this film is excellent, the performance from (Danny) Freddie Connor was brilliant as were the amazing (Terry) Jamie Foreman, the story was not what i expected. Danny works on the door of a brilliant grime club in the centre of east London helping to sort out trouble inside and outside the club..terry the manager almost gets shot one night and Danny saves him..(bad mistake for Danny) as this is where he is dragged into the underworld of crime which he really does not want. Danny then meets the beautiful (Jessica) Zoe Tapper and then proceeds to fall in love.. Danny decides he wants his own club with no trouble but is stuck between terry and Jessica.. the rest all falls into place with a fantastic story line great acting and an overall brilliant film..

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam
(2010)

yes this does contain spoilers.
OK i don't even no why i sat through this movie, number 1 was bad but this was just pathetic, why oh why was it even thought of.(Demi Lovato) cant act to save her life, the same as (Alison Stoner). what a pathetic film. what a pathetic script, what a pathetic bunch of stupid actors. come on people book your ideas up do not go and see this movie you will regret it.... i can only rate this as a very weak 1 and thats being generous... people who may like this will be aged around 6-12. and to be fair i think they will struggle with the poor script. OK this is my personal opinion only i try to be fair in all my reviews but i do warn you people this is bad as in terrible....

The Karate Kid
(2010)

can it beat the old karate kid??? its a good contender....
whoever said Jaden Smith cant act is just jealous, this kid may have flaws but WOW he even surprised me of all people.. this film had me stuck-fast to the screen within fifteen minutes with a smile from ear to ear. Jaden (Dre Parker) was hilarious his faces and actions was side- splittingly funny. Jackie Chan (Mr.Han) played the part great too and easily passed off his role.. the part where Mr Han kept telling Dre to pick up his coat put it on and hang it up was brilliant.. this film shows how remakes are to be done. I've rated this a very very strong 7 out of ten.. watch this space Jaden smith will be big in the future........

Shank
(2010)

could've been much better.
OK normally id watch these types of films and within 5 minutes be completely hooked, (however) this was so dull that i would of happily turned off within the first fifteen minutes of viewing..... most of the acting was OK and especially by Adam Deacon (kickz) who i think is a great actor. Another actor who caught my eye was Bashy. (Rager) he was brilliant and will be looking out for in the future.. the story could of been so much better there was a few good ideas adding gaming style death o meter to the dog fight scene was classic.. i can only give this film four out of ten at the maximum any more id be lying and wouldn't be fair to anyone going to pay at the cinema. (this is my personal view only but be warned)

The Bounty Hunter
(2010)

loved it
this is probably the first time I've watched a film starring Jennifer Aniston and not thought it were a nauseating performance, but this was great, her performance with co-star Gerald Butler was more than good the chemistry between the two was out-standing.. Nicole Hurley (Jennifer Aniston) is in some trouble with the law for a traffic offence and is on the run to crack a massive story for a newspaper.. Gerard Butler (Milo Boyd) is a bounty hunter who is asked to bring her in for justice, but being his ex-wife brings out hilarious consequences for the two... Gerard Butler another favourite actor of mine was splendid in this, and was an ideal co-star to Jennifer who also gave her best.. i was also happy to see Peter Greene (Mahler) giving another great performance, again another favourite in my book... Im giving this a very strong seven out of ten as it had me in stitches and i thoroughly enjoyed.

Bronson
(2008)

Tom Hardy at his best!!!!
Tom Hardy shows how acting is really done in this film and i am more than happy that he was chosen to play the notorious Charles Bronson.. this film is based on prison hard man Charles Bronsons life behind bars and his fight against the in-human conditions he lives in,, Tom Hardy has got to have been the best person for this role, even Charles Bronson himself says he looks more like i do than i do my-self.. I've been following Charles Bronson for a long while now and was over the moon when i heard about this release... i have to give this a ten out of ten just by Tom Hardys performance alone and will be waiting for more appearances in the future............

Out of Control
(2002)

the best drama by far....ever!!!!!!!!!
i watched this way back in 2002 and recently watched again and was stuck-fast to the screen yet again. Tamzin Outhwaite was so good in this that i actually thought at times i was there in the story with them. Danny young who plays dean was also a gem in this fascinating drama.. another actor who stood out was Jamie Forman he plays his parts so well and gives 110% in everyone even though most of his parts are only small... the story centres around dean a troubled fifteen year old boy who gets in a bit of bother with the law and is sentenced to four months in youth offenders jail where from the start of his sentence gets bullied by Sam Johnson (Leo Gregory) a downward spiral continues until dean is forced to commit suicide, leaving his mom in a state of shock and trauma... Im rating this as a ten out of ten you really cant ask for more with this drama all actors showed the ability of real acting and i will be watching this again in another ten years to enjoy for a third time.....

What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?
(1999)

not as good as once were warriors but very enjoyable
i was over the moon when i heard this was out i brought it straight away and watched straight away, i was slightly disappointed though. number one (once were warriors) was absolutely brilliant, Temuera Morrison could not have been a better person to play this role.. however what becomes of the broken hearted was a lot less calmer, a lot less fight scenes and on the whole a lot less entertaining.. however i would strongly recommend seeing this as YES the story continues and is a great story told... there is also a number 3 called Jake's long shadow, witch i sadly haven't seen yet, but will be thoroughly enjoying in the near future.... i will rate this as a strong 6/10. i hope anyone reading this isn't put off watching as this is my sole view only and don't want to spoil a classic film.....

Madness
(2010)

turn off the lights sit back and enjoy..
first ill say stick with this movie or you will miss-what ill call a great low budget movie.. when i watched this i was glued to my screen and thoroughly enjoyed from start to end.. if this had a bigger budget it (in my books) could of been a big hit.. OK the acting not 100% and the effects are not all that good, (hence small budget). but i promise if you stick with this movie you will enjoy,, especially if you are a horror fan such as wrong turn,, hills have eyes,,and and other twisted horrors. ...warning do not watch if a little afraid of blood as there are some scenes that could offend your angelic nature,,, the brutality how-ever made the movie for me.. i'm giving this film a eight out of ten if the budget were in the same region as some higher profile films such as wrong turn id have rated higher.. but in my eyes i see low budget films as having heart to them where some high budget films have nothing but glamorous shots and over paid actors who simply just cant act.
