Night Gallery
(1969)

Disappointing considering who made it
I am a fan of Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone, and i thought this show also would be great. To my disappointment it wasn't. I saw the pilot plus season 1&2. I only liked 2 segments of the pilot in this show.

They were, The Cemetery and The Escape Route. I liked The Cemetery best, because i think it had: Creepy atmosphere, good acting, suspenseful and great story.

I liked the twist ending. I have seen the British lead Roddy McDowall before in several other TV-series. i think he did a great job, acting wise. I gave up watching this show after viewing season 2.

If only season 1&2 had any great segments like the 2 mentioned. I think the rest of the episodes lacked the, Creepy atmosphere, good acting, suspenseful and great story. I have to give this series 2 out 10.

Supernatural
(2005)

Teeny bopper show
I bought season 1 when it came out and i thought it will be good. To my my surprise, it was not. It was only 1 episode named "Asylum" of the 22 episodes.

I gave up watching this teeny bopper show after watching all the 21 poor episodes, which i think lacked, suspense, good story, acting and so on. If more episodes was like Asylum, i think it would've been better.

I will not see a episode of this show anymore. I heard this show was influenced by The X-Files. I only thing that alike was them going around solving crimes and helping people. I think this show deserves my rating 1 Awful.

Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense
(1984)

Lives up to it's name
For the most time. This is the sequel to "Hammer House Of Horror" (80). I actually likes HHOH a bit better than this series. Both TV-series can be bought on DVD from Amazon.UK.

I saw this TV-series for the first time 3-4 years ago. Last year, i began seeing the episodes for the second time. I think this series has generally good acting, suspense, twists and story.

My favourite episodes are: Last Video and Testament, Czech Mate, The Corvini Inheritance and The Sweet Scent of Death. I think some episodes had potential to be great, but turned out to be only okay.

Like these: Mark of the Devil, In Possession, Paint Me a Murder and Black Carrion. And i think these was just poor. A Distant Scream, The Late Nancy Irving, Tennis Court , The Wall Came Tumbling Down and Child's Play.

Fight! Dragon
(1974)

Very disappointing considering Yasuaki Kurata is in it
First let me say i am a fan of Yasuaki Kurata. I am not a fan of this TV series by him. I disappointed of the fight scenes, sound effects in the fights and the silly undercranking they sometimes use in the fight scenes. You also get the same song each time a fight scenes occurs. You get tired of it after a couple episodes.

This stories are also very repetitive in my opinion. I mean in story wise. This series won't wind any awards for stories, acting and fight choreography. I think the fights which have like 3-5 fights in each episode, looks not good. I think the choreography looks too simple most of the time.

You can see in nearly every fight that Kurata doesn't connect the punches and kicks to the villains. Didn't they have monitors back in the 70's? Maybe not, but they clearly had dailies to watch so they should have re-shot figths that you could clearly see that Kurata didn't really hit that person, just the air. I won't watch this again. This series is not recommended by me unless you like simple choreography and disappointing fight scenes.

Mirageman
(2006)

The raw story of a real-life superhero. He has no superpowers, just his fists and guts.
I just saw this film 30th September 2009. I think it had some good fight scenes. This is an action packed film compared to the poorer Kiltro. It has many fight scenes. Marko actually hit and kicked the bad guys for real in this film. The only problem was, it was nearly all the times too difficult to see that. The camera angle's could have been better. As could the editing. I think they did too much of this quick cut editing.

I think Marko actually punched too fast in some of the fights. He punched so fast i couldn't see them. I think they should have told him to slow down, so the viewers could actually see the punches. I didn't like the sound effect's they used for the punches. I think it literally lacked punch and bass. Other than that, it was good. I really liked the reporter in this film named Carol Valdivieso.

I was just glued to screen every time she appeared. I love those fine dark brown eyes. What a looker!. But, one thing i didn't like was that she dyed her hair blond later in the film. I think she looked best with brown hair. So, if you was disappointed like me after watching Kiltro, you will be more happy to watch this film. As said, many more fights than Kiltro.

Banlieue 13: Ultimatum
(2009)

It was not up to the standard to the first film.,
It was not up to the standard to the first film. I still liked some fight scenes. I saw the deleted and extended scenes on the DVD, and it was basically 9 min of fight footage that was not used.

Which i think was too bad. I think most of them should have been included in the film. I feel they could have improved the film a bit. Poor decision in my opinion. I think it had some great new moves from Raffaelli and Belle. In my opinion is these the reasons for it:

worse editing in the fights, shaky camera, too little Parkour, too little fights for Belle, some poor camera angles and too little screen time for Belle

If they make a third film, which i think they will do. They should have learned the mistakes i mentioned from this film. I hope they can find an even balance between the fights and Parkour scenes. They would be perfect.

Gwan gai
(2007)

Worth to buy
I saw it a over 2 year ago. I liked the film. I think the story was good and interesting. Good realistic and brutal fights in my opinion. I think they made it like Shawn Yue actually knew martial arts. What was rare in this was that they didn't use much wires in the fights.

I noticed 1 or 2 wires in the film. I think Shawn did a good job in the fight scenes, and acting. It had enough action scenes for me. I for hope a sequel to this film. It think it deserves a sequel. If you like a action film with a good enough story, and a film with well made fight choreography and realistic, brutal fights, then i can for sure recommend this film to you.

Shi yue wei cheng
(2009)

Lousy
Very disappointing film. This film last's 138 min. In my opinion it was at least 45 min too long. I find it a overlong film!. i think it had too little action. When a action showed up, i think it was poor. Even the drama and story was very boring. I think it should be renamed to Boringguards and Assassins. I like some Drama films and TV series, but i think this was not any good Drama.

I think the camera angles and editing also was poor. It was hard to follow the action. I thought this film would be action packed, considering Donnie was in it. I don't think it was. With all that money, how could they make such a bad film? I don't know how they managed to do that. Also, Donnie wears a silly unconvincing bald-cap making his head look like a watermelon. Hahaa.

It has only max 15 min of action out of 138 min. I felt cheated since, before it was released it was promoted as having 1 hour of action. More drama film than action film. I will never watch this film again. See only this if you like a boring drama film with very little action. Watch Ip Man instead, than this junk. I think it does at least have much better, story, acting, and fight scenes

The Fugitive: Fatso
(1963)
Episode 10, Season 1

The best episode i have seen of Fugitive!
I liked it very much. I liked the story and the character Davey. I felt very sorry for him. I think Jack Weston played him just perfect. I think Jack was a very good actor. I hated that mean brother of his, Frank. That must mean he was a good actor. I was shocked by the scene where Frank actually bull-whipped his own brother, Davey several times.

I have actually been hit with something similar, so i know that intense stinging pain. You just want to go and punch him and whip him instead so he could get a taste of his own medicine. Gladly, i seem to remember our great hero Dr. Richard Kimble coming to his rescue and gave that bully a punch. I like the outcome of this episode. I have seen season 1 and 2. I hope season 3 and 4 will have more great episodes as this one.

One Step Beyond: Night of the Kill
(1959)
Episode 5, Season 2

Creepy
Plot: A runaway child Davey Morris (Dennis Holmes) suddenly shows up after missing from his home for several days. Davey's dad (Fred Beir) refuses to believe the boy's claim that he has been with a huge beast.

I really enjoyed this episode. I liked the plot and it's creepy mood. One other thing i liked, is that you never actually see the beast on screen. Your imagination can run wild with this great effect. You can sort of decide yourself what the monster looks like, if you want.

I seem to remember it also had good music i liked. Also, what a good ending. I will not tell you the ending. You have to see for yourself. One of the best episodes i have watched of One Step Beyond. I think it deserves 9/10.

Bonanza: The Duke
(1961)
Episode 25, Season 2

Excellent
This review contains Spoilers:

I think this episode is one of the best of season 2, with of course other episodes also. I liked the story and characters (The Duke). I think it was sad how The Duke treated people, especially his manager. Like for example punching him hard several times in his stomach. I was glad at the end when he changed his behavior. I was surprised when his manager told Hoss or Joe that he was his brother.

I clearly remember him saying sorry to a character at the end of the episode. That was at least good of him. I think the actor who played him and his manager was great. The only minus with episode i must say, was some of the fights scenes. I felt they was a little slow. I think they should have punched faster. But, this can perhaps be explained, since they only have 7 days to film each episode. So, i highly recommend this episode. I think this episode deserves my rating 10/10.

The Wild Wild West: The Night of the Skulls
(1966)
Episode 13, Season 2

First episode i really liked of season 2!
The first episode of season 2 i really liked. Because, i think it had a good story, twists and some fight scenes. I was surprised by all the twists and turns in this episode. This is the first episode i have seen that used so many twists. I like that.I hope as i continue to watch the rest of the episodes of season, that they are as great as this episode.

One thing i didn't like about this episode, was that some of the punches and kicks done by Robert Conrad didn't look so convincing. I have noticed that several times before in other episodes. What i mean by unconvincing, is that the punches Conrad deliver's didn't always seem like they connect to the bad guy. I noticed the same thing in lack of power in some punches and kicks he did. I personally think when they saw the footage, they should have done a new take so it look's better and convincing. But, it is too late now. Over 30 years ago since it was made. All in all, i recommend this episode.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Long Shot
(1955)
Episode 9, Season 1

One of the best episodes of season 1
I like this episode very much. I think it has: Great acting, twist and a good interesting story. I was very surprised by the twist in this episode. I liked the twist, but i will not say when it happens in the episode.

As you may know, frequently cast in Hitchcock's films and this TV-series, it stars the British actor John Williams. Who was in at least 10 episodes of this series. I like him as an actor. I think he is great. He doesn't disappoint me in this episode. I also think Peter Lawford did well. One could think that it was Alfred Hitchcock who directed this. I mean by the interesting story and twist. So, i recommend this episode very much.

Hammer House of Horror: The Mark of Satan
(1980)
Episode 13, Season 1

Worth viewing
I remember when i saw this episode for the first time several years, i liked it very much. I think it had a good: atmosphere, suspense, interesting story and acting. I remember the lead character was obsessed with the number nine, for some reason.I also remember a conspiracy thing going on in this episode. There was a beautiful woman in this. I think she had a big role. I remembered that. So, that could only be good.

I think this one of many great episodes of Hammer House Of Horror. So, the next time i re-watch this series, i will watch this episode again. I very much recommend this episode, if you like this series.
