The Revenant
(2015)

Don´t waste your time
I have never seen someone who gets completely wet on the frozen mountain and spends time there walking without suffering the consequences in a short time. This movie is absolute crap marinated with excellent photography and a bunch of great actors.

I do not understand how this garbage has reached this rating when other movies with much much more merit are rated terribly.

The relationship that drives revenge is never properly established and everything spills out to force everything that continues afterward. Not to mention that the whole movie this guy spends his time swimming like he's on some tropical beach enjoying the pleasant weather.

Fresh, light, easygoing and fun
I can only rate this series as an experiment backed by strong performances and photography. That resplendent oriental style that appeals and satisfies its progressive middle class. There are light tones everywhere, and the scriptwriter's sacred hand turns the page without hesitation or stumbling, even if he continually gets into baffling moments (where all this is going?) That can compromise the credibility of the following chapters. Nevertheless all problems are solved without the help of Harry Potter's magic wand.

It is a different series, light, without dark plots, or characters crushed by the past or fate. So clear is the composition of the costumes, scenery, photography and script; as are the performances, the interlocutions and the evolution of the chapters that do not exactly respect the tradition of opening and closing with a theme but this series seems a continuity to accompany the viewer in their daily life without demanding too much sense.

I've seen half of the chapters but to see Sun Li acting I will continue until the end. Actually it is Sun Li who gives tremendous support to this which would otherwise be a simple 28 line sheet. But it would not be possible or fair not to appreciate the solidity of the rest of the cast of actors whose performance, even under this concept of series, are capable of making such an easygoing world credible.

One of those that squeezes the heart
I am a Mexica from Tenochtitlan. I have unwittingly watched, like many at home, forced by our mothers to see countless shoddy dramas one after another; And although I sincerely hate them, I have learned something from watching the work of the scriptwriters, actors, costume and set designers, in short, the entire film crew.

The day this story is broadcast in Mexico (if ever happen), it will be a real hit, a tremendous blow, because the story is simple and has the ingredients that the Mexican audience appreciates so much.

A girl who comes out of the lowest level, without formal education, a wild and indomitable little girl that has every reason to be against people, whom she must cheat all the time to eat, and whose only reason to change is found in love in the person most opposed to her there can be; without forcing her or making her, only under the powerful weight of love from which she cannot escape once she has met him.

The story is full of pressing, risky situations, malevolent intrigues, extreme bulling and I think the story takes the girl and other characters to the limit and from it she comes out triumphant and smiling, always. It's the best cheesy overflowing honey story I've ever seen. In the end I know that those who see it will cry disgustingly secretly some and openly all the others.

Very captivating but bizarre. There´s something...
The problem with this series is that it is very disconcerting at first. It's as if the screenwriter had lost direction in just the first few chapters. Something in the first chapters suggests that they were not entirely clear where the hell all the other threads of the story were going to go. But once you go through these first five chapters everything seems to fall into place, and it is very captivating and intriguing. But what can be said despite everything is that the result is a rather bizarre series. And as often happens, Chinese producers walk away and leave you wondering if the project continues or is already dead or what the hell is wrong! (Have you ever felt when you are bathing, you are happy singing and scrubbing your body, but when it comes to rinsing, the water runs out!)

I have tried to send a two-word letter to the writer but have not been successful in finding his postal address.

However, it is one of the most interesting and perhaps conceptually different series that I have seen.
