Queens blade, good, even without fan-service? Yes!
I have to say, when I just started watching I was shocked by scandals in the first episodes (positively sometimes, because I'm a honest guy.....)girls wetting themselves in fear or passing out (Urine Literally), though common for females, still no reason to make fan-service out of it.
After watching it for some time, many of the characters do seem to have a lot of depth, more then I expected actually.
When I finished the series I did found out it was very enjoyable. To be honest they could have dropped all the bounce and ecchiness, because the story alone in my opninion is really appealing enough for the larger public.

Kenpuu Denki Berserk (1997)
Berserk deserves better
Deserves more then you probably could imagine. Go watch it through, its worth it!
It has this high score on IMDb for a reason anyway. (The time of this writing) This series is supposed to be a prelude to the comic. But I think this anime plays the whole better part of the story.
It starts of as medieval heroic tale yet the whole plot gets an interesting twist near the end. You will love it.
Don't try to expect what happens next, things happen here that you wont experience in any other series out there.
What I can say for myself is that for me berserk ran in an equal to stories that a hero gets stronger towards the end in a brute way to do that headstrong. Though the nice thing about this all is characters are actually well developed for a series which u would think is about brainless violence and gore alone.
Also of note the supporting heroine has some real female issues (ep.13 see if you get the hint when you see it) which surprised me to see in any anime or real live series.
