Hilarious and heartwarming One of the funnier early episodes with great lines shared among the whole cast. A young nun is enchanted by Harry when she appears in court after an attempted robbery. Harry's humor and spontaneity convinces her she is missing out on life and when she visits him the next day, it's to tell him she's revoked her vows. She asks his help in experiencing everything life has to offer. Much of the comedy centers around the reaction of Harry's colleagues, who mock him constantly about having coaxed Sarah away from her faith. When Mac observes her crushing on Harry, he takes great amusement in asking afterwards, Harry is almost as innocent as Sister Sarah and wonders how his frivolity and "making chicken lips" led to Sarah's dramatic decision. Like all good friends do, they rub it in.
Harry: (Regarding Sister Sarah) Did I mention that she isn't a nun anymore? .
Dan: (Incredulously) Oh wow. She stripped her vows for you?
Harry: She did not.
Mac: (amused) What did you DO to her?"
Harry: I didn't do anything.
Selma: She's got a thing for you.
Harry: Come on now. .24 hours ago she was...
Bull: (Grimly) Married to God.
Dan: (big smile) I understand her ex has a temper.
When the others withdraw, Selma repeatedly says in a voice that is less about teasing, more of a warning, "She's got a thing for you." Harry is in a near state of panic, for though he denies it, maybe he is the reason Sara has overthrown her life.
In a slightly less funny but still enjoyable side story, Dan makes repeated advances towards the newest public defender and she keeps saying no. The episode ends when at the end, she appears to change her mind and agrees to a date. Worth watching the entire show just to see Dan's reaction when he discovers that his relentless pursuit didn't provide exactly the results he wanted.
Highly recommended.
