Extinction
(2018)

The kids ruined the movie!
This should probably potentially be a decent movie.. but throughout the film I was sooooo distracted by the loud whining kids and its so annoying... they're not even essential to the movie. Yes I get it that the movie wants to potray a regular family having some alien attacks, but please... it was too over the top and makes you cringe... I believe alot of viewers would want the kids to be dead instead of being empathetic to the characters.

And the train scene when finally the parents came to the peron, the kids had to run to them and have a huggy kissy moment while a bunch of people chasing them... REALLY??? it's not even believable...

Us
(2019)

Bad Story premise
I like how they execute their single scene to build the suspense and put some jokes in it.. but there's a big hole in the plot.. too many things doesnt add up and left you confused and end up doesnt care about the story..

Spectre
(2015)

Cliché
I would say that Spectre is a all the cliché you could find in movies wrapped into one. 1. The protagonist got detained.. check 2. The protagonist's girl got kidnapped.. check 3. The protagonists have to travel with the girl and fall in love during the trip.. check 4. The protagonists have to runaway from the collapse building... check 5. The protagonists have to travel around the world to finish a mission.. check 6. Car chasing around the city.. check 7. The antagonist have to fight the protagonists while he actually have a good chance to shoot the protagonist dead easily.. check 8. The Antagonist have to say full speech before killing the protagonist... check. 9. Everything explodes.. check 10. A very creepy cold villain meeting at midnight.. check 11. Last battle scene in old abandoned building soon to be exploded.. check.

And so many more.. I can not believe that the success of Skyfall followed by this formulas.

Apart from these clichés there are too many over the top "what-the"-scenes along the movie.

For examples, 1. The clinics on the top of the mountain out of nowhere? 2. The Villain Boss have to set up the whole scene to welcome james bond with all the pictures of bonds and all the people that dead? really? Not to mention the villain boss was already in a waiting pose, doing nothing at the end of the building in a glass room just to wait Bond?

This is like a very commercial movie, without good and strong storyline, as if its only made for selling as a franchise.

So disappointed..

Battle of Los Angeles
(2011)

Not a Movie
Making a good quality sci-fi movie is not an easy work. There are some movie that we can call a not so good movie or even a bad and awful movie. But talking about Battle of Los Angeles, believe me, this is not a movie, this is totally torture. If you want to know how to waste your time in the worst way, then it's for you.

It is obvious that the movie want to ride the hype of Battle: Los Angeles. Even so, please make something that at least worth to watch. Do not expect anything from the story, The title should be "Independence day vs Alien vs Ninja". The technology used in this movie reminds me of Japanese TV series Ultraman circa 60s Sigh..I wonder what were they thinking making this movie. I don't really care about the character in this so-called movie except the ninja/samurai girl (and it's because of the outfit? maybe..)

Movie should be entertaining and giving you impression to remember. Whether it's fun, scared, blue or anything but angry to your self for wasting your time. This is what you will get by watching this.
