I can't believe it took me so long to discover this show. It's funny, original, and weird I the best way. It's not offensive at all--Patty is a deeply complex person and it's about way more than "being fat." It satirizes many social issues and frankly to the people who down vote this just don't get it. Even though it easily could have sqeaked out another season, I thought it ended nicely. Not expected, but it made sense sense based on who Patty showed us she was throughout the show. It almost felt like it was planned for two seasons. The actors are phenomenal and even thought not a huge Alyssa Milano fan, I enjoyed watching her in this role.
There's a lot of negative reviews here because... I'm not sure what people expected but I had almost no expectations for a trilogy I did not even know happened that takes Magic Miketo London. I knew that none of the other cast were in it, so it's pretty clear what this is going to be. I don't even know if I would call it a cash grab because how much money could this have made?
Channing Tatum is always a delight to watch. His character remains dry and funny throughout the ridiculousness of this plot. Salma Hayek is a queen, regardless so there's that. It's enjoyable to watch because they have an unexpected amount of chemistry. I mean like not fireworks but...cute. For some reason its rated R but not necessary. Low expectations, it's a fun watch with a girlfriend and glass of wine.

I actually thought this was very cute. I'm of the age when I would have been watching the original 20ish years ago and this has the same spirit. I thought Addison Rae was endearing --who knew?! What made me laugh was that apparently teenagers can't drink in movies anymore and they were having mocktails but swearing up and down. Times have changed, eh?
