The Visit
(2015)

A not so great movie.
The movie reminds me a lot of paranormal activity. The way is filmed and all the rest. Something happen always after a certain time, exactly like paranormal activity. Now, during the movie the kids say that they don't have signal in the house, however they use Skype which requires an internet connection. You can clearly see a blue cable coming out from the laptop. These cables are used to hook up a desktop/laptop to a router. Now if you do have a router you can just use your mobile over the router. The movie is very flat, from the trailers I was expecting more that's the reason I decided to go to the cinema to watch this movie. Some parts of the movie just made me laugh, I don't know if that was the intent of the director or if just happens. The end of the movie has a twist that I didn't predict that is the reason I decided to give a better rate. Without the twist the movie would have been more flat, and definitely worth only 1 star. All in all I would say the movie is not worth the ticket price.

Bullying
(2009)

The scourge of bullying
I watched this movie because in general I do love European films, especially French, English, Spanish and Italian, I watched it thinking that I didn't know what bullying is all about.

As soon as I began to watch the movie I started to realise that when I was an high school student I witnessed myself bullying many times but back then I didn't consider it something so serious. Of course, after finished watching the movie my idea has totally changed.

The Movie traces the life of Jordi whose father has died few months earlier. Jordi is targeted by a group of peers of the new school where he has just moved with his mother and a small dog.

The Movie is very educational and I reckon should be shown in schools to make children understand the scourge of bullying.

Absolutely recommended

The Human Centipede (First Sequence)
(2009)

A Crap movie
It is very hard to write a review for a film like this. A film which is completely unrealistic, poorly written and directed.

Basically a mad German doctor wants to try an experiment; create a Human Centipede. He had already tried the same experiment with 3 dogs but they didn't survive.

The crazy doctor is very lucky, in fact as soon as the movie start 2 young American girls on holiday and up into his house. He also find a Japanese guy (the film doesn't explain how and where). After having sedate them, the doctor sews the 3 people together.

I actually wanted give 0 stars but apparently it is impossible, so I give 1 star.

The Karate Kid
(2010)

I want to ask to be totally refunded for the movie ticket
Last Saturday, I went to watch this movie with a friend of mine and his children. Actually his children wanted to watch the movie. But after 40 minutes the children couldn't stand anymore so we left.

In this remake of Karate Kid starred Jaden Smith the son of a very important American actor (that's how he got the part) and Jackie Chan. The remake is roughly two and half hour and his definitely not comparable even for just a sec with the original one.

In the original Karate kid starred Ralph Macchio and the late Pat Morita. The original was a good movie. With a lots of action, drama and love.

By the way, although the movie-maker have tried to cover up Jaden Smith poor acting, everybody can understand that he can't act.

Save your money and watch the original or watch something else.

Hopefully they don't do a sequel for Karate Kid 2
