I came into this with low expectations for multiple reasons; I think the MCU and what made it so good has run it's course, the content for a few years have had some really bad ones outweighing some of the good ones. And I just can't get into Wilson/Falcon now being THE Capt. America despite the comics (which actually happened in 2014, the same year Wilson was intro'd in the MCU's Winter Soldier so it's not like he's some legacy character like so many others ) Nothing against him, he's just been something of a supporting cast member to me for so long, I don't see him as a main character now.
Anyway, this movie was not bad. It's definitely not great but it's not bad. And if I compare it to some others the last few years, The Marvels, Eternals, Love & Thunder, and Quantumania to name a few, it's better. It's definitely got its flaws, you can tell where the reshoots and editing were done.
I wish Red Hulk could have been a surprise reveal when you watched it, but without it in the previews, I don't see what would have gotten people in to see this movie.
Overall, it's more of an Incredible Hulk sequel from '08 than anything.

I was excited when it was announced Joker 2 was coming after seeing the first one. I lost a little interest when it was announced Harley Quinn was going to be a character. That character just isn't interesting to me and has not done well on the big screen either, (no Margot Robbie's version has not been good either.) Then I lost even more interest when I read this was gonna be a musical. I just didn't see how that approach would work let alone couldn't understand why it was being considered as a good idea. The first one wasn't, why would they do it for this one?
By then, I was not optimistic and decided to wait for the reviews and see how it did the first couple of weekends. Thank God I did.
As I watched it, it got worse and worse to the point of absolute garbage. And yet I was still trying to figure out why this was the route they took. I'm honestly chalking it up to trying to be "artistic," and go the Golden era route where so many movies in the 40's and 50's were musicals and the decades after had em every so often like Grease and Willy Wonka so they tried to do that in today's era and splice it with crime.
Utter failure and considering how good the first was, they should be embarrassed for themselves.
