What stark contrast with episode 5.. with this being a much satisfying episode.
I understand the necessity to setup the foundation for the story you actually want to tell. But efficiency is key for having these kind of shows maintain the views! And a total 5 episodes doesn't seem like a good use of budget and time to me! At least not for an episode 6 to finally feel like the proper start and return of the series.. but at least we are getting there!
This Muse seems to be a different character from the comics, which is somewhat of a shame. It is also not the core of the show, with Fisk and Daredevil going back to what wanted to leave behind. A means to an end.
With 3 episodes left.. I certainly they get there.

I'm beyond surprised they created a standalone (and seemingly skippable) episode in the middle of a season that everyone expected to deliver greatness!
A revival that has given us a few good moments but has been otherwise slow-paced and somewhat dull, lacking in clear direction and engagement from the viewer.. Did they think they had ample space and additional budget to do so? Mmm, quite interesting.
Still, I appreciate the little-heist movie where DareDevil gets to be a clever Hero inside a Bank with hostaged without the suit. Providing an anthology-like story of events is a nice and fun idea! But I don't think it was the time and place for it.. not to mention the strange and unnecessary world-building references to the miss Marvel kid (and a Funko Pop to boot). Elements that hardly add anything to the story that was being told. It all feels.. too weird and out of place.

I haven't seen such a well-written and executed efficient little movie in quite a while (90 minutes). The type where it is better to know as little as possible, you don't know what to expect and just enjoy the one-location experience with a great cast of unrecognizable Talent that works perfectly in its favor! It doesn't get any better than this, with the sole focus on storytelling and entertainment, delivering a memorable chain of events that is a joy to watch.
Someone compared this to Tarantino, but instead, it reminded me of the great "Wild Tales" (Relatos salvajes, 2014).. which I also highly recommend.
