When We First Met
(2018)

Get a Clue
Very below average film, but the worst aspect for me is Adam Devine needs to get a clue that we already have a Jack Black, so his inferior impression throughout the film destroyed the experience for me. Why would they make a film, with the lead imitating such a success as Jack Black?

Western World
(2017)

A 10 For Worst Acting
I've seen many low budget independent films but this has to be one of the worst. Not just a few bad actors, but everyone is wholly without talent. The dialog is stiff and forced with absolutely no realism. I keep picturing this as a play, but even most stage actors could pull off performances better than this ensemble.

How the director, and those producing this film, could have gone through the entire process of making this picture and not realize it had no spark, whatsoever, is completely beyond me.

Edward D. Wood Jr.'s "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is always touted as the worst film ever made, yet I have always found it charming and entertaining.

"Western World" truly is in the category of horrendously awful and most worthless films ever!

Sandy Wexler
(2017)

Another Hit From The Maestro
All the other reviewers, so far, harshly criticize this film, but I absolutely loved it. It has all the ingredients that make it a fantastic Adam Sandler film. The familiar faces and oddball humor like only Sandler can deliver.

I laughed and cried with joy, but I was not trying to over-intellectualize the film. I turned off my mind, relaxed and floated downstream and thoroughly enjoyed myself and found this film absolutely wholesome, warm and charming.

Granted it's no Citizen Kane, which by the way I've never seen, as I could care less about Hollywood art, but it did what it was supposed to do; allow one to escape the harsh reality and stress of everyday life and just have some good clean fun and laugh, laugh, laugh!

Great job Mr. Sandler!

Bonnie & Clyde: Justified
(2013)

Abysmal
This is an awful film with absolutely no merit.

There's so much wrong with this film, I don't know where to begin.

There's no action, no plot and the film is filled with several overly long photo montages that are tedious.

The budget was so low there is virtually no realism. Money shown is current currency, one of the newspaper headlines has a blatant spelling error and all gunfire is depicted with cheesy computer generated flashes.

I'd say this is more like a student film, but that would be insulting to student films.

Avoid at all costs, as this film is a complete waste of time with no redeeming values.

The Goldbergs
(2013)

Heartwarming & Charming
I believe it depends on what type family you grew up with whether you enjoy this program or not; and although my family was not exactly like this, nor did we grow up in the 80s, The Goldbergs is quite charming and each episode has struck a nerve with this viewer and tugged at my heartstrings.

The fact that Adam F. Goldberg is culling story lines from actual family life experiences gives this series a sense of realism other shows lack. Further, it is driven by sincerity, rather than dependent on trying too hard for a quota of laughs.

The Goldbergs is a winner, which I highly recommend.

A word for The Goldbergs bashers: It's OK, to turn off the intellect and take an emotional ride and enjoy life, rather than looking for flaws in an effort to project your superiority.
