Dance Night Obsession
(2019)

Dreadful- The reviews say it all here.
It's SO bad on every level. I can't believe I watched this rubbish. The main actress has a baby voice which was excruciating. Plus a child like overall demeanour about her. Also was an unconvincing dancer or choreographer, sorry.

Acting is atrocious. Lots of cringe and cheese including the old hat of reading things and talking/thinking out loud.

So so bad.

(I gave 1 star but you have to click the star part, there should be a zero star option).

K-Shop
(2016)

Excellent. Accurately depicted.
The makers nailed it. This film depicted the punters in Kebab Shops & the like & street drunk night scenes so accurately. I wouldn't be surprised if they used real footage and not actual extras of the night street scenes.

I thought Ziad Abaza was brilliant who plays Salah the owner of the shop. You can't help but root for his character.

(On a side note, I always think what a nightmare it must be for business owners/staff & Law Enforcement who deal with these people).

The Orange Man
(2015)

Ominous with a few redeeming factors
The reviews are quite spot on here. It 'is' quite dire but it is also quite funny too. The acting is unfortunate. Really bad mostly. I'd say the only redeeming factor is the scenery & music. It's not bad. It does have a electronic 80s vibe, as someone mentioned in the reviews- Giorgio Moroder/John Carpenter, it does! I thought of Georgio Moroder, more basic version. I managed to watch it all the way through somehow because Gerald is quite likable & just to know what happens in the end.

Celebrity Crush
(2019)

Diabolical
Diabolical. Every level. Alissa Schneider acting was diabolical. Remember Misery?, similar plot but nothing like it. Honestly, I cannot believe this is in existence, that it got made. There should be a zero star option here on imbd.

The Odds
(2018)

Mediocre & Unconvincing
The acting of the female was disappointing in that she was a bit dramatic & unconvincing. Thee whole role playing thing was absurd. What got me the most was given the excruciating pain of the torture, she continued with the role playing & in parts, you'd never know it had happened. The agony & aftermath of would leave you unbelievably weak, sedated almost & whimpering & screaming continually. It was like, after the torture act, she as over it very quickly. Silly. So it was unconvincing. Along with the acting.

No One Lives
(2012)

Action Horror & Unexpected Luke (Driver) sounded like Clint!
I was fairly surprised by this one. It was a Action Horror to me, a new genre possibly?! No spoiler here- but expect the unexpected which was a surprise! No pun! Music caught my ear, it was good- by Jerome Dillon.Read later he was the drummer for Nine Inch Nails. I thought Luke Evans (Driver) sounded like Clint Eastwood throughout! Was it voice over'ed by Clint I even wondered! Yeah, an ok watch.

Status: Unknown
(2014)

Diabolical
Absolutely rubbish. Diabolical in every respect. The acting especially. Couple of the ''actresses'' sound like chipmunks or on helium. (I couldn't distract from Jessica's mammoth nose either. Sorry!)

Just bad. So bad.

Surviving Evil
(2009)

Mark Peter Jones- review
I'm with you on your review. I didn't understand the ending, it was vague. Did you?

All Girls Weekend
(2016)

Shockingly bad.
The acting is so bad, it's shocking. Overall quite unwatchable.

Crash Site
(2011)

Diabolical
This was really bad. Diabolical. Over acting & the loud dramatic music was of the scale. All the reviews say it all especially Leofwine_draca's- read it. I do wonder how these movies often get on screen (!)

Murderous Affairs
(2016)

Narration etc
*Does anyone know who narrates this? (The Thomas Montegmory one who poses as a Marine on the internet- the make voice). **It's not Keith Morrison is it? I agree with the user reviews. There are a lot of inaccuracies & narration info is badly structured. For me the music is too over dramatic and continuous which is distracting. I watch it for the cases & knowledge of the areas where crimes have happened.

The Evil Inside Her
(2019)

Pointless
Plot was pointless and non existent. No substance.

Wives with Knives: Krista Clark
(2014)
Episode 3, Season 3

casting ?!
The casting is questionable (!)

This is my review...a short one!

Easy Prey
(1986)

Good
More of a query really- is this a true story? Max 766- thanks for sharing yr story, was interesting.

Lost in the Bermuda Triangle
(1998)

Lame
Had potential considering the Bermuda thing draws such intrigue but was the film was very lame. The reviews say it all really. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed- (see 'Bobwildhorrors' review)- very acoustic, tinny echoy' sound, what was that all about?!

Le mystère du lac
(2015)

Compelling & really good! Tres bien!
Absolutely compelling. The French really have a knack for these sort of things. I was really drawn in by the plot and overall production. Spoiler alert- I hope there is another series or episode so to see if Chloe speaks for what seems she comes out of her coma at the end or maybe she has amnesia, who knows! What of the Mayors fate, does she get away with it?! We''ll never know, or will we?!!

Secrets of a Psychopath
(2015)

Dreadful. Cringe.
After reading all the reviews, they more or less pinned it down to one thing- dreadful. In every sense. From the amateur acting, script to the general messy organisation of it all. I found myself cringing lots and it was unintentionally funny. The only thing that redeemed this film was the music score perhaps.

American Nomads
(2011)

Decent documentary
Very nicely done and easy viewing with decent un overpowering fitting music. Captures subtly the essence & spirit of this part of America with it' big wide open spaces, roads & desserts of the West also where people are drawn to pass through and experience. Richard Grant does a good job quietly and respectfully hosting this with good writing. A nice insight to some of the lives & stories from the Rodeos, the Preacher, the 'White Owls'/retired folk in their RVs, the freight train Vietnam Veterans and especially young Comfrey's and his unknowing destiny. Good viewing overall.

Stockholm, Pennsylvania
(2015)

Cynthia Nixon- sublime & thoughts
I just watched this. I thought Cynthia Nixon was sublime. Her acting was truly captivating and engaging, so talented, I would love to see her in more roles so if anyone can suggest I would be grateful. I feel, dare I say (controversially) Sex & the City was beneath her really after watching this and if that is what she is mostly associated with.

It would've been nice if more detail was given behind the kidnapping. I appreciate the subtlety in a way however. It seems audiences were lost. It would've been nice if there was more insight into Leah's ordeal/experience.

Good film, enjoyed.

Guilty at 17
(2014)

Lame
This film had a lot of potential had they chosen good actors and thought it through a bit more for it to be more convincing and in affect, underestimates and condescends the audience. It's really cheesy, cringey, and unnatural when June talks out loud her thoughts. Often happens in badly made films. Her acting in this is awful generally. You never see Traci's parents in scenes together, OK except the very end. Traci's mother at the hospital and June's lack of portraying real grief- are far too composed and stiff. So unrealistic. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would pre warn the cops and have a dicta-phone ready when talking to Traci at the hospital and at the end in the parking lot- genius place to meet in the dark with disturbed teen psychopaths! This is ridiculous.
