Anyone But You
(2023)

My Husband enjoyed it
My husband enjoys shoot 'em up action movies, when we go to the cinema. Too much dialog and he's asleep. Case in point, Downton Abbey, liked about 20 minutes of it. Great nap. Oppenheimer best nap. I never suggest a rom-com. We saw the trailer, he thought it looked funny.

He was awake the entire movie! He laughed and really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it. The movie was a feast for the eyes. People and places were gorgeous. Chemistry between Powell & Sweeney was amazing. I would enjoy some more movies starring these two. The romantic and comedic energy was engaging. I haven't had the pleasure to enjoy in a long while.

Fix My Frankenhouse
(2023)

My new Favorite HGTV show
The Butlers, and the Dads. 😍😍 perfect This show is such a delight.

Denese has a wonderful personality. Seems genuine and has perfect energy for the job. I really like her designs. Mike is her perfect partner. He is more low key but seems like a super guy, who performs amazing miracles with these Frankenhouses.

She and Mike are a great team. I certainly hope there is more episodes to come.

"The Dads", what a excellent added bonus to this show. I love their relationship and chemistry.

I been an avid fan of HomeTown. Erin and Ben personalities and the genuine love of Laurel.

They have lots of build in resources for art and being in the same location. They are building their brand, with a lot of positive benefits to their community.

I really hope the Butlers get the opportunity to shine and get support and a fantastic shot at a long term relationship with HGTV.

Lil Jon Wants to Do What?
(2022)

Lil John is a delight
I was watching Kickstart, on Discovery +. Lil John show came on next, so I watched.

I've heard of Lil John, mostly his catchy songs, with one word. LOL. I have seen him on Chappelle Show. Thought of him as just a Hype guy. I Didn't know he is a world renowned DJ, producer. He can add amazing designer as well.

I thought this was going to be goof. I couldn't be more wrong. This guy thinks outside the box, in the most sophisticated ways. He is well traveled and has a keen sense of style. I enjoy he and Latisa(sp?) interactions. They are a great time as well as Paddy. I like that everyone is allowed to shine. I really hope this show catches on. Its a breath of fresh air.

Why Him?
(2016)

We laughed from beginning to end
The Hangover, Bridesmaids and Million Ways to Die in the West were very funny movies IMHO. Why Him was hilarious.

Many reviews compared it unfavorably to Meet the Parents. I guess it's based on liking James Franco's character, Which I did. I didn't like Ben Stiller character. I couldn't imagine someone putting up with Robert De Niro character. Anyway everyone in the theater was laughing. Yes, lots of the F word, crude sexual jokes. I guess it is a matter of what kind of comedy you enjoy. I loved Brian Cranston in Malcolm in the Middle. He is without a doubt most excellent as Hal. Lots of people know him more for Breaking Bad. Megan Mullally and Keegan-Michael Key were brilliant in their roles as well. The whole cast did a great job. I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD

F Is for Family
(2015)

Excellent Show
The characters in this show are so multidimensional and well written. I actually care about them. As for the language, I find it hilarious. It gives realism to the show. There are many details of the '70s that are spot on. The coffee mugs, some of the wallpaper. This type of visual recollection, is great. This is the best animated adult show, I have had the pleasure to enjoy. It pulls no punches, and touches on some very real feelings and issues, adults and children face then and now. It's not for the easily offended. Thanks for making an excellent show. I certainly hope we get more episodes. With the quality of writing, I imagine this would be full-time job, and the creator Bill Burr is a comedian who performs full-time as well. I hope he can do both. This show is a great treat.

Comet
(2014)

What a Gem.
What an Gem, perfect.

There aren't many movies where it's 99%, two characters talking that holds my attention and sounds real. It's was sort of like "Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (without the crazy) in dealing with the challenges of a modern romantic relationship.

Justin Long is amazing. I don't understand why he's not a huge star. But, perhaps that's a good thing. His performance in "He's not that into you" was great he was the best thing about that movie. He may not be the typical leading man, but he has a soulful, honest quality that comes across.

Emma Rossum was lovely. I've only seen her in "Shameless",which she is wonderful in. In this she hits all the right notes.

It was written so well and the performances were so great. Just found it by chance on Netflix.

Clean House
(2003)

Niecy Nash and Her Team Woo-Woo
I love this show! Niecy Nash is hostess with the mostess. The twist in this show is the clutter is sold at a yard sale. The show matches up to $1000.00 to clean, organize, and decorate of what is sold. There is prying and crying. Niecy's sassy style is hilarious. Watch this show
