Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain
(2021)

WOW!! Amazing and sad story.
So I went into theatre seeing this movie with no idea who Anthony Bourdain was other than was he was some famous chef that committed suicide a few years ago.

I came out of the theatre choked up but also inspired. Yes Anthony Bourdain, may your demons finally be at peace. You inspired me to want to learn to cook finally at 30 years old. I guess it's never too hate and also inspired me to want to travel the world. The ending was truly sad and will leave a lump in your throat at least it did for me. Having been a victim of depression and a failed suicide attempt I tried a few years ago but just couldn't pull the trigger. I can feel for why he felt this way towards the end and ended up taking his own life. He felt alone which is the hardest thing to overcome and ask for someone for help in society. You always feel like your better than that and you don't want to jet your ego down. Some people make it through and some ppl like Bourdain unfortunately find that the only way to escape is death.

I highly recommend to anyone to watch this documentary, definitely in my top 3. Thank You Tony!

The Art of Getting By
(2011)

Excellent Drama Film, Great Cast
I loved this movie. Remined me of when I was in high school, by the way Im only 20 yrs old. Rmeinded me of the people I dealt in high school, teachers, not having a lot of friends, girls I met over time.

Here is a short summary of the movie George played by Freddie Highmore, is a senior in high school who narrates throughout the movie, is does not do his homework or listen in class instead he draws sketches and doodles. After a few days George meets this girl Sally played by Emma Roberts who becomes friends with him and falls in love with him, well George doesn't know what to feel and ends up losing her, he get a last chance to complete all his work for a whole yearn in order to graduate high school given to him by his principal. George lives with his mom and stepdad who lost his job and is leaving them. Towards the end of the movie George has to complete an art project, one project of the whole year in order to graduate and ends up painting an awesome portrait.

Great artistic drama with some comedy scenes that will make you laugh, because they remind you of when you were young and in school. Great cast. Especially Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore, the two main people in the film.

I recommend this movie for people who love art, who likes romantic/drama films, and everyone else.

I bummed it did not make its way to theaters and got only a release at the Sundance Film Festival and on DVD and bluray. This movie could of done very well at the box office.

I give it 7 out of 10 stars, for its great cast, great plot and great story.

America's Sweethearts
(2001)

Good Romantic Comedy Movie with a great cast
SO I just finished watching this movie a couple of days ago. The reason I watched it because Julia Roberts was in it and shes one of my favorite actresses. Here is a short summary of whats it about, Well it starts with a famous Hollywood couple that is going through a divorce, and a movie director who lost his job and has the chance to get it back if he can bring John Cusack's character and Zeta Jones character back to together. Julia Roberts' character is Zeta Jones sister in the movie and happens to to get with John Cusack's character because she always had a crush on him and John Cusack has always liked her.

Well the movie was good, it wasn't great. Yes most people will watch it because of the cast and not like it. Christopher Walken steals the show as always in the beginning and end, with short scenes. There are some really funny scenes, but thats about it. The plot of the movie is okay nothing excitint.

I give it 6 out of 10 stars. I would at least give it a chance if your fan of any of the actors in this film, or if you like that type of genre.

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
(2011)

A True Masterpiece for all ages.
I just got done watching this movie at the theaters today. What a wonderful movie.

Very emotional story about a young boy traveling to find a message his dad left him shortly after he died in the World Trade Center towers collapsing on 9/11.

I predict this movie will be up for some awards. Possibly best picture at next years academy awards or golden globe awards. Well worth your money. This movie is great for all ages. Great scenery of New York City as well.

I give it 10 out of 10 stars.

The Last of Sheila
(1973)

A True Masterpiece!!!!!!
When I first viewed this movie, I was thrilled and confused. It takes a couple of viewings to get the catch. This mind twisting mystery is a great 70's classic. James Coburn plays a millionaire who's fascinated with playing games, well this game you don't have to movie you just have to be smart. Dyan Cannon and Raquel Welch are always great. My favorite scene is James Coburn in the castle on the second night of their game. Make sure you pay attention through the whole movie no interruptions. Excellent cast and excellent plot. I give it 10 out of 10 stars.

So go out and view this movie you will love it.

Bug
(2006)

Excellent Horror/Thriller
I just finished watching this movie last night, I was hesitant about viewing it, but after reading a few reviews and being a fan of Ashley Judd's work. I decided to give it a shot.

This movie was one hell of a psychological horror/thriller. Michael Shannon was great in this movie as a mentally ill gulf war war veteran losing his mind on the fact bugs are crawling through his blood.

Ashley Judd was great as Michaels character friend, believing him and being brainwashed by the thrill how the government is watching them and planting bugs in her friend.

I give it 8 out of 10 stars. Excellent movie with a brutal ending.
