Maybe I was just way too traumatized by A House of a Thousand Corpses to enjoy this music video? But wow as soon as that first shot of Harry Styles as a octopus (squid? Merman?) hit my visuals, I was transported back to a much creepier and scarier time. Honestly, not sure what the purpose of this song, or video, is but I don't even care at this point. That movie was traumatizing enough and any reference is enough to ruin a video and even a song. I'm not sure he needed to take this direction with the video, references aside, what is the point of becoming one with the fish being filleted? Green peace>

I feel like most EDM videos aim for futuristic, because their beats are usually otherworldly, but in this case - Bang My Head achieves the goal. Truth be told I have no idea what this music video is supposed to be about or how it in any way relates to the song. But I love it all the same. If I could race a horse and win, I surely would do it... so why shouldn't the heroine be any different? Though again, truth be told, I love this song, so any video would probably get high marks in my book. In this case the creators at least tried to present something that was visually stimulating and followed the cadence of the song.

Can I say that this music video is so good that it's actually bad?! The concept feels so random and yet it hits in all the right feels. With so much recent media coverage of stuntmen fatalities and heroism, it feels like this music video was almost ahead of it's time. Though I don't want to be guilty of over analyzing a 4 minute video. But I also don't want to understate that I absolutely love watching this video, but also kind of hate the implications. Stunt men and women deserve all of our respect for the crazy things they are willing to do on camera for the sake of entertainment, y'all have my respect.
