A Husband for Christmas
(2016)

A Film Hallmark Should Have Made
I do not want to get very political here but this is a film with a primary African American Cast. I have never seen this approach on "The Hallmark Channel".

Now this story is far fetched but it is a "Christmas" movie so I expect a little bit of a "Fairy Tale" and this film delivers on what it does promise. "A Love Story".

In this film a woman gets roped into marrying a co-worker who needs a work visa. The Immigration officers however are out to prove that this marriage is a farce. If that happens she is off to prison.

Lovely and easy to watch. Vivica Fox does however save this film.

Miss Christmas
(2017)

Okay film
Run of the mill production from Hallmark. In this film a woman who is in charge of a towns Christmas Tree Festival must look for a new tree when the one she wanted is no longer available.

The tree finder is Chicago's renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns his dad isn't willing to part with the tree.

When she arrives in town she finds out the owner of the tree doesn't want her to have it.

Heart warming feature. Give it a shot! Now there is someone here attacking another reviewer. I trust his/hers views. They have been on IMDb for years.

I looked at what the reviewer has "Claimed". There are many films that have reviews and the reviewer has only reviewed that film!

I looked at his/her reviews and they are never "rude". I think someone on this board got called out on their behavior!

A Christmas Carol
(1938)

Hard to Believe this was a rushed production
This is one of the fastest films ever to reach the screen. It started shooting in October and was in theaters in December. This production however is the standard in which all other versions since have copied.

This was the first production to have the "Spirits" come in one night! It also fleshed out Bob Cratchit family more. This is also one of those film that the older it gets the better the film becomes.

In case you don't know the story "Scrooge" is a cranky old man. He hates Christmas and people in general. He has more in life than the people that surround him and yet he is poor.

This 1938 film is in black and white and that seems like a huge asset. The cast is perfect!

If you have never seen this version then what are you waiting for?

Christmas Grace
(2013)

So Bad It Makes The Pope Hate Christmas
Christmas movies are nice to watch. They can be really good or really bad. This film SUCKS. I don't mind films with a "Christian Theme" I mean after all "Christmas" is about the birth of Jesus. What I hate is films that are badly done. The worse offenders are movies like this that have "nothing of value". Unless You want to make a coaster out of the DVD. The Jacket Art is much better than the film.

The problems with "Christmas Grace" is that the writing is bad. The cast is bad. The sound is bad. The plot is bad. The photography is bad.

In this film a man who is a Christian loses his toy store when a chain store opens up on the same street as his. This does not cause him to lose his faith but it also drives him to rebuild his life and later re-open his store.

The general idea of this film is fine "But it was badly done". The writer/director has no clue how to construct a film however none of the actors are any good. There is better acting in porn films.

If you look at the "GOOD REVIEWS" they were all written in 2-3 day period. That makes me question the integrity of them.

I think they were written by people who made the film.

DO NOT BOTHER TO WATCH THIS. MAYBE IS YOUR DRUNK IT MIGHT BE GOOD!
