Lost Boys: The Tribe
(2008)

It was OK..... should have brought back Haim and Newlander.
I had read allot of negative comments before I watched the film and my expectations were very low, but I found the film OK. It defiantly wasn't a bad film.

Pros The cinematography was good The head vampire was pretty cool.

I loved watching Edgar Frog again and Feldman did a great job at playing the character again.

Cons The vampires looked like pigs, what was that about???? They didn't look nothing like the original vampires. They totally over done the makeup. Also the vampires acted to geeky and weren't bad ass enough. They needed to be more Gothic.

No Allan Frog Not enough Corey Haim. I felt cheated that he wasn't in it much, I was hoping for a longer cameo appearance than that.

The film needed a bigger cooler ending, with traps and things being set up.

The story was too similar to the first one.

Overall the film was OK. If they make a third one make Haim, Newlander and Feldman the stars. That's the film Lost Boys fans want to watch.

The Two Coreys
(2007)

wicked
The shows is great, I know it is proper fake but at least they honest about. I find it entertaining. The show is at its best when the two Corey's are joking about and having friendly banter. I don't like the Susie character she is so annoying and I get real bored of the whole situation of her breaking up the Corey's. They should show more stuff of the two Corey's messing around and being themselves because they have such good chemistry. I don't like the fake stuff, I don't think they really need it. But in general the show is funny.

I've read some bad comments about the show but people should understand that this guys have been in some classic films, sure they might not be the best of actors but I grew up with their films and I really hope they go back to their routes and make a cool 80's movie.

I hope lost boys two is good, the original was great.

Haim is the man, he is so cool. I Bet the Corey's threw the best party's back in the day.

Dead Man's Shoes
(2004)

so rubbish
I looked at this film and thought this is going to be a wicked movie, lots of violence, cool camera shots and great acting. This film had none of those things.

It was so terrible, it was like the director hadn't even made a film before. The shots were so boring, always a wide shot and maybe the odd close up, so plain.

The story was the worst part, it sounded like a nice idea, but the structure of the film was so wrong, it was like a child had written the script.

The drug dealers were so bad at acting, they seemed like some guys from a down the pub. They didn't seem realistic or like bad people. I didn't feel sorry for the retarded kid what so ever.

The violence was rubbish, didn't shock me at all. Seen worse in a Disney film.

very bad director, i will not be watching any of his films in the future.

The only point i liked was the main actor....he's got potential

Extras
(2005)

Very good
i have just watched the first episode of Ricky Gervais Extras. At first i was not sure that it would be any good, the idea seemed good, but there was a lot of expectations if it would live up to the office.

The style of the show is similar to the office, but not a documentary. I think it works pretty well and i'm glad they didn't use canned laughter because that would make it sound stupid. The jokes are delivered very well, except sometimes they run a bit flat. Ben Stiller was very funny and i was amazed that he was even in it.

overall very good, i laughed a lot and wasn't disappointed. I think the characters our brilliant and I'm pretty sure this show will be a big success.

The Office
(2005)

A great theft
i've seen the American Office and i found it alright, because it had the same humour as the original office and i like that kind of humour.

But i feel like what was the point of remarking it for an American audience. I mean can't American's watch a show with British actors? or a show with British humour? In Britain we have loads of American shows, like friends and Seinfeld, and these shows are very popular. I don't see British people remarking friends, it just wouldn't work.

So i feel like, a great British show has been stolen and made into an American thing and know one seems to know, where it came from.

i guess it dose pay a lot of respect to the original, which i have to say is a very good thing.

Batman Begins
(2005)

Why would you think this film is good?
Number one, when did Alfred become a cockney butler, Michael Cain was terrible his acting made me laugh and want to vomit out my face and I like Michael Cain, he was amazing in Austin Powers gold member and Jaws 4. What else was rubbish, where were the bad guys, some stupid Irish man in a silly mask called the scarecrow, which just made me laugh, how can you compare this to batman and batman returns in beyond my belief.

The most important thing wrong with this film was that there was no fantasy, which made batman stand out from the rest of the Hollywood action films.

Batman begins is just another Hollywood film cashing in on the popularity of the new craze of comic book films.

I think Chris Nolan is a good director, but this was not his genre to touch. He makes realistic films and Batman Begins should have been made more fantasy.

Tim Burton where are you?
