This movie has no redeeming features. 3 supposedly high school students are chatting on a roof top and share secrets. At their young age in school uniform, all 3 happen to have committed unspeakable crimes, with extreme cruelty.

The movie is grotesque and unashamedly reveling in its unrealistic caricature of human psychology.

An example of this is that the students have no reason to commit the crimes. They just do! Like today a 17 year old just decides I'm going to kill some one.

The acting is unrealistic, the setting is comical. The story is unrealistic and over acted.

I don't recommend this movie.

This Movie is not perfect, it is not profound like Wandering earth 2, its not epic. But again not all movies have to be perfect. It is enjoyable entertainment. At time you are on the edge, at times you are with the characters and so on as movies should be. The story is well written the characters are likable and whole etc...

About IMDB, if I mention anything good about C the country and how far they have come in movie making IMDB blocks my review but on the other hand the feature review on front screen states the following: (.... It was only shot to test viewers where cinema is in China and to destroy America. China is sucking the tit out of democracy ......)

Train to Busan, Flu are two very good Korean movies. There are plenty of good Korean movies out there. This one is not one. It can not be taken seriously. The story is highly flawed. The lead actor was simply not qualified for the role. He was suited for a romance melodrama. The lead Role also was highly flawed. An army Seal and Astronaut panicking crying losing control etc... No one in Korea Space agency seemed to have the right character to manage any emergency. To make it more embarrassing right at the beginning they are begging NASA for help. Have some self reliance national pride and dignity! Every major news event had to be repeated in English to be given credibility and importance. It seems unless the event is repeated in US news is not worthy.

The acting is bad plot is well unwatchable, special effect is good if you forget laws of physics.

Do you remember playing dress up when you were 5 or 6? Well this movie is same dress up. There are no depth to any action, even the actors are just dressed up with perfect skin, teeth and hygiene and physique. The plot has hole you can drive a truck through. God help mankind if future depends on these half brains. As for acting well i recommend some acting lessons before hiring these actors. I can not remember a single character name. Dont waste your time.

When a quarter through the movie you look at the time and start daydreaming it is time to walk out. Please please next time you do a SF movie try and consult some one with some understanding of the subject matter before finishing the plot.

I think my title explains this. Story is not original. Actors are cut out and not likable. Best you can do is stay and stay awake. I could not care one way or the other what happens to anyone in the so called movie. Dont waste your time.

An advice for movie makers; We have three problems these days when it come to movies, one is good actors second original material third just try and entertain, and stay out of politics!

It seems my review is short. Problem is this show has already taken too much of my time and does not deserve any more of it. Better to pick up an older movie instead of this train wreck.

21st century has infiltrated the Japanese movie makers. This show focuses on the relationship between the Husband and Wife. And not surprising the Wife is a 21st century western wife with a sharp tongue and attitude, dressed in period costume. The Husband, you guessed it, is a fool and she saves him from death, which now days is credential for any "Independent woman" in a movie, forgetting that this is supposed to be 1500th. So no historical authenticity here, another show to distort history. There are plenty of better movies on this era and plot. Not worth watching.

The characters of two dimensional and the plot is fictional and not based on historical records. Do not recommend it.

Suzume by Makoto Shinkai, is, how can I say is a train wreck. First issue is the story. I have been watching Asian shows for decades so I am used to deep stories and concepts, but the story in Suzume had no beginning no middle and no end. At the end I asked my companion if they could tell me what the story was about and why the characters did what they did. Every one shook their head. The story has so many gaps in logic it is incoherent.

2nd issue is the characters. In 5 cm per second, Makoto creates real to life characters with individuality. In "The place promised in our early days" the characters absorbed the audience in their lives. And so on. In here like mainstream shows the characters are sheer stereo types. The girl is your typical what you expect to see in commercials on TV. The guardian, the friends etc... there are no individuality. In here there was no leading male, what so ever. But Makoto does even better. The only leading male has 30 seconds screen time before he is turned into an inanimate object. I am not kidding. A children chair. And not an intact one, a 3 legged children chair. And that is how he is until the end. The other male characters are bumbling idiots, who follow female instructions or they are scolded. If I wanted to see this I could just turn on the TV.

Maktoto if you like to stay relevant go back to your roots and create shows that tell story of real people, rather politically correct nonsense.

3rd issue is his cinematography, if you have seen his last 2 shows well you have seen this one.

At one time when he made Voices of distant Star I thought we have another great talent in Japan to make good original anime for next few decades. But after seeing this trash well, I think he is consumed by mainstream movies. And that is a shame. At least we still have the other Asian country's movies for originality!

Waste of 2 hours The first 5 minutes of this movie was good, after that was downhill. Once the sister was introduced it was down the toilet tube. She had a foul mouth, and low class body language. No sentence was uttered without profanity. The story could have been good but in here with this script where if you took out the F word there would be a silent movie, it was hopeless. There is no emotional connection between characters; therefore there is no connection between audience and the movie. In fact when a whole lot of people perish including children, our so called heroes don't even blink an eye. They are more interested in making money. Throughout the movie they steel, loot and cheat, everything and anything is ok as long as you're not found. Half way I was cheering, every time there was a chance that the main characters would die.

As usual in these Hollywood movies the male character is ineffective and at the end the female is the hero. I guess in the west its better to feed fantasy down the audience throat.

I wish I had turned this movie off and saved some of my time, or re-watch Wandering earth a much better science fiction than I have seen for years.

I was reluctant to see this movie as I had heard nothing good about it but I was persuaded by a friend to see it with him. I am sad to say that this was one of the worst movie I have seen.

The movie has no likable characters, the acting is comically bad. The dialogue seems to have been written by people with no knowledge of human interaction what so ever. The plot does not follow the laws set by the first two terminators, etc... But the bigger failing of this movie is what they did to the very things that made T2 and specially T1 a success. Despite the fact that both movies were action science fiction they were believable and people could relate to them given the situation of the time and more importantly people could relate to Sara Connor, the police officers, even the future John Connor, when he desperately tried to tell Sara that the terminator will never stop until she is dead. In here after watching the movie only 3 days ago I have already forgotten the name of the new introduced characters, they are that much forgettable. I could not find anything in their personality that I could possibly like or relate to. In fact within first 10 minutes I was rooting for the bad guy.

For starters the main good guys were females, despite the forced fantasy that Hollywood is trying to shove down our throat women are not and will never be able to out run, out fight and out maneuver men and for this reason will never be in these positions and will never be given such roles in reality. And for that reason people can not relate to them. Placed in these role at best they look silly and at worst laughable and cringe worthy. Even in these silly movies these roles are acted by women pretending to be men! To be considered worthy they have to give up the very things that makes them female, they have to be men with breasts.

Hollywood does not understand that a strong woman does not need to punch hard to be strong! Hollywood will not be able to make a successful movie with women lead not until they understand what true nature of a strong woman is.

Putting that aside, in here the Arnold Terminator was an over weight, old man who now was married with a child and was selling drapery.

I can not believe this story had got the funding tick, not unless there is an active agenda to destroy every male heroes of the past. If this was not the agenda then someone must have been paid or given a special favor.

And Sara looked like she needed to walk with a walking frame. And the way the 3 females nagged and argued throughout the movie I just wanted them dead to stop the nagging and cat fighting.

I am glad to say this was my first Hollywood movie in the last few years and just confirmed not to watch another in the next 5 years. Avoid this movie at all cost.

Cringe So let's get this right. For women to be strong we need to act like men. We need to fight punch, and also dress like men. Do we like anything about us? We certainly don't like the idea that we are also mothers, god forbid if we ever appear in a kitchen again! I hate to think what these movies do to young girls who see these movies and know deep down they can never out run a guy or out fight a man.

We do not have our own stories, we need to get male characters and change the name and put a women to act a male character.

What is that telling you? That being a woman and acting like one is not good?

Go and watch Ghibli and Asian movies, there, women have their own personality and don't need to act like men to be recognised.

I don't think I watch western shows any more; they are bereft of substance and creativity and are an insult to women.

As for this, boring two dimensional drivel.

I have been watching Anime for many years. Over all I think this is the worst one I have seen. I turn it off last 10 minutes.

Story is inconsistent. Main characters have no redeeming features. Mostly they are stereo typed. What you expect to see on mainstream shows. The boy needs some manners and parental care, and understanding. The mother think her job is finished because she gave birth, and now the father needs to be the mother. If I want to see that I turn on American social agenda shows.

The story is shallow, with literally paper thin depth, and just moves from scene to scene with no reason. I gave it a good chance but 10 minutes left i could not waste any more of my time on this.

I could not finish this so called movie. An hour through it felt like 5 hours and walked away.

The story is butchered, there are holes the size of Jupiter in the plot. People just appear out of nowhere to do something then just disappear just for convenience. Acting is also as bad as the plot.

This is the Hollywood virus infiltrating Asian shows. Typical, full of CG and no brain. They should put a note at the beginning "To enjoy this show either deposit brain in the box provided or you must be brainwashed by Hollywood." if this is the trend in 10 years time most Korean and Japanese show would be the same as Hollywood shows!

Thanks god for China they are still resisting, and not allowing these multinationals to control their culture!

Disappointing to see the female lead of "Memories of Alhambra" in this full of holes two dimensional show. If i wanted to watch s small stick figure bashing men 3 time her weight i watch any Hollywood trash. There is more to women than just trying to act like men. This is one of the things attracted me to Asian movies and Dramas, their ladies leads actually have a character and are not trying to imitate men. Also they have good stories and likable characters. This show is non of these.

Very fun movie highly recommended.

First some remarks. People who are used to cookie cutter Hollywood, pasteurised, homogenised, politically conditioned movies and franchises won't appreciate this movie, because the story is too complicated for them and they actually have to have a good attention span. Not that it is a complicated story, far from it, but you do need to pay attention. 2nd if you are prejudiced then don't bother. Third don't compare to Hollywood cardboard movies.

The show is so vivid in colour and the CG is well done. Story is simple but solid and easy to follow. Characters are so likable, and fun. It's a movie you can watch with whole family. There are no bad language and perversion inserted to condition you. Compare to these, Asian movies Hollywood and some western movies are cess pool of perversion and social engineering. Here you watch this to pass time and have fun, pure and simple.

One of the most wooden movies I have ever seen. The acting..., what acting, I think they were reading from cue card. The characters... there was no characters. The plot well, from the moment the supposedly spiritualist or psychic turned up you knew how it was going to end. There was no one you could like everyone was hateable. The western culture and art has degenerated so badly that there is no good anymore. Everyone lies everyone cheats and we pat ourselves on the back for being clever and we say we outsmarted another out of what was rightly theirs. And in every single movie there has to be a perversion, and this one is no exception. Don't bother. I think I will watch an Asian movie, maybe Chinese at least in those movies there is still some on worth cheering for!

I have been watching Asian cinema for decades. If this is where japanese movies and films are heading is sad. This show is all looks and no substance. Yes they have dressed the younger actors and actresses in kimonos but it's obvious non of them understand how to act. You might as well get German actors in kimono.

Sad how west is creeping in like a virus.

Combination of bad acting, bad script, bad story together with director not knowing whether to make a horror or drama or a dark comedy made this movie un watchable.

The ending was so forced I just couldn't watch the last 5 minutes.

The monster so far had killed so many men, hunters , miners, police officers with guns, disabled the sherrif and now a 50 kg skinny female teacher with attitude was going to bore the monster to death and save the day. Political feminist correctness is so on overdrive in USA that it ruins every movie. Don't waste your time with this.

This show is a light comedy, and as a light comedy hits the spot. The characters are amazing, 3 dimensional and likable. The plot is clever and very funny.

The humor is subtle, its not American crass and stupid. So if your staple diet is American crassness don't bother. In here there are no dirty ugly jokes. Or political indoctrination, just come and enjoy clean very funny entertainment.

Where can I start.

First Hollywood thinks we (people not living in US) are all interested in American internal (days of our life) Politics and bickering between their stupid political party fights, well we are not.

2nd - USA is not the only country that is able to do things that is the past, if anything they usually cause more problem. So god help the planet if we need to rely in that mess of a country. So its unrealistic and pure arrogance to think no other scientist in any other country is also involved.

3rd - its totally overused political correctness is nauseating, stop this preaching.

4th - acting is so one dimensional - do these actors read of cards?

5th so long and boring.

There can be no spoilers because you probably can not sit through this if you have half brain - I did not.

This movie while might be made on moderate budget is very much story driven. The atmosphere created by usage of space or lack there of together with the music is hair raising and chilling. Very profoundly the story tells of the loneliness felt by people who seek connection by using internet which changes them into ghosts as they get addicted to their computer. Of course Hollywood watchers would totally miss the point because they are not tapped on the shoulder and spoon fed by the director and indoctrinated by the activists in the movie.

I watch mostly Asian movies. Seldom I find any English language movies with any depth or worthwhile. Most Hollywood shows these days pay more attention to political correctness and social activism than art of story telling. Unfortunately this shallow disease is infecting Japanese cinema, and this movie is a victim.

The main character is two dimensional and utterly self centered you tend to dislike. Why would anyone wants to stick around her I don't know.

I found the show so bad, I could not finish the movie.

Japanese shows are becoming more and more like western shows were they seem to have a need to be lecturing you about a social issue rather than telling you a story or engage you emotionally. This one is not a bad one worth a watch Satomi is not so versatile but shed does a OK job. Stories are not bad, so worth a watch. In response to the reviewer who turns the drama review to a social commentary, please leave political and social comments out of here, if we wanted to get into that we would watch a documentary, (why do some women have to turn everything into being independent makes me think these women intrinsically feel weak so they need to keep talking about it!)

To start let me say I watch mostly Asian and European movies, the reason is that I believe not only they have better stories and better acting but the emotions are deeper and memorable This movie unfortunately has the stench of American or Hollywood culture all through it. You might as well watch the avengers or the PJ Hobbit. It does not follow the story and there are extended made up fights all the way through. Japanese Culture is missing and replaced with Western shallowness. As an example Kenshin here in late 1800s holds hand with Kaoru Kamiya, to keep up with culture they would be walking two meters apart rather than hold hands. Very disappointed. They have totally destroyed Rurouni Kenshin. Where ever Hollywood goes leaves a stench.

Unlike Song of the Sea or Secrete of Kells which were truly good and original stories this one is cliche, and followed dumb Hollywood routine. The girl of-course has to act like a boy to be acceptable. The father, as usual does not understand or approve of it. I am yet to see a good father in western shows! such injustice to girls and men. Poor girls are told it is not good to be yourself. The rest is predictable and boring. don't waste your time.
