• ....you like the first few episodes. If you do, then great. If you don't, you will do what I did and waste a lot of time going through some tedious and mind numbing TV, constantly waiting for it to get better. It didn't for me. I didn't like any characters, the pace was painfully slow at times, episodes can be missed entirely and no one would care (fly!), and there was a lot of filler. I will say, the way it ended was excellent, but not enough for me to recommend sitting through series 1-4 to watch it
  • I've watched this a couple of times, and it is one of my favourite shows. I love the characters and how they develop. I laughed and I cried at this show. Wonderfully written, brilliantly acted, and just all round fantastic
  • I absolutely loved this show. Very funny, touching, yet manages to deal with some quite heavy topics very delicately. Gillian Anderson is brilliant in this, as are all the characters. Loved the location, stunning scenery. Also loved the older cars being used in a modern world. All the actors were excellent. Best show I've watched in ages.
  • So, I've not read the books or seen the original. However, I plan to now! Those that have done are possibly disappointed.

I really enjoyed it. It wasn't difficult to get in to, I liked the characters, and I loved the fact that the majority played a role of their true self in real life.

Yeah the set was obvious, it was probably 2 episodes too long, the story was clichéd in parts, and there are better LGBTQ+ TV shows out there, but this had a charm I loved, with some brilliant actors and a story I enjoyed.
