Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One
(2023)

Disappointed because of one major character
Won't say anything other that Ilsa's demise ruined the franchise for me and also, why is it that many of the powerful women equal to powerful men get killed off in Hollywood movies. Anyway, that's just an opinion but did not appreciate it. I read somewhere that this made sense to the story, aka Ethan running around to save two women because one had to die?? Like...what? No, just no, writers can do better than that instead of throwing around such a cheap trope for the "emotional" growth of the main hero. That does not take away from the fact that Ilsa's character was also damaged prior to this movie by a silly inclusion in Ethan's team. It brings you back to the silly finale of the very first movie, pity!

Heartstopper
(2022)

Great Chemistry, Acting and Important storytelling
This is a wonderful story and it was not a surprise for those who already knew the graphic novels but everyone else got to discover a universe of emotions never so well described before.

You do not need to be a teen to enjoy this but it will definitely speak to a varied audience, to some to a very personal level. The themes are so beautifully handled by the script and the sensible acting and is not an easy feat. Engaging, emotional, educational.

Batman Returns
(1992)

Best in the series with iconic performances
Some of the reviews here are nonsense! This is the best Batman so far, dark with fun and with the most iconic performances from the best Batman, Mr. Walker, De Vito and especially and unforgettable Michelle Pfeiffer, who lets Catwoman run dark and wild, in her lust for vengeance all through her 9 lives! Must have watched this 100s of times and made me a fan of Pfeiffer, discovering all her movies and amazing performances!

Tell It to the Judge
(1949)

Fantastic Comedy not available on DVD
This is a fantastic comedy, fast, dynamic, clever and played extremely well by Rosalid Russell and Robert Cummings. Their chemistry is what makes comedies like this work so well, not a moment of boredom, pure laughter!! It's a real pity this is not available on DVD in Europe, I would buy it straight away!! Well...I would buy any movie with Rosalind Russell, especially her comedies. Such actresses are rare to find, she was absolutely great, one of the best and is a real pity that she is so forgotten today. Her timing and skills were absolutely unique, not many actresses are able to carry a comedy like she used to! Also Robert Cummings was very effective, don't know this actor much but I think I will try to find out more about him now!
