Elysium
(2013)

Started ok and got worse
Started off promising enough, but got boring quickly.

Best way to describe it is like watching a friend playing a sci fi/survivor horror video game. Fees like a mix of Halo & Max Payne.

Struggled to persist to the end.

Unsolved Mysteries
(2020)

Lots of pros and a few cons
I'll keep this brief. The stories are covered in great yet easy to follow detail. You feel like you know as much of the story as is available at the end of each episode. The re-imagined opening theme and tune sets the scene very well and is a good modern take for the series. I will no doubt watch every episode that is released.

The one thing lacking for me is the creepy atmosphere of the original series, which In part is due to the lack of a host. Robert Stack was brilliant in the original series and im sure there is somebody out there who could bring back that sense of foreboding that made the original series so compelling.

I am going to assume the focus of this series will continue to be predominantly crime related, leaving very little to cover issues of the paranormal. Hopefully they can cover the latter more extensively as the series evolves.

Terminator: Dark Fate
(2019)

Terrible
I pretty much agree with most the other reviewers here. T1 & T2 were great. They were dark, scary and menacing. Im guessing there was only about 10-15 mins of CGI between the 2 movies which was used to supplement an excellent story line and great acting.

This garbage with its over the top feminism and CGI in total absence of a story was terrible. Nobody who ever saw a proper 90s action movie wants to see people falling out of planes and helicopters and simply running off and getting on with their day. Nor do we want to see terminators that can leap 3 storeys high in a single bound. Its nonsense.

This franchise is so old and crusty now it should have been called Infirminator!

Please Hollywood no more Terminators, no more Die Hards & no more than 2 movies in a franchise! Oh and keep the CGI to 5 minutes an hour!

The Nun
(2018)

Waste of time
Glad I didn't pay to go see this one. As others have said, no real plot, just overly used cliche scares that weren't really scary. I enjoyed all the Inisidious movies and Conjurings etc, but more recent movies of this type are just recycled crap. Give this one a miss. Hopefully its another 20 years before we see another exorcist, possession, demon movie, as its been exhausted as a concept.

The Haunting of Hill House
(2018)

Boring waste of 10 hours waiting for something to happen
The acting is not too bad and same goes for the effects.

I was told this was the show to watch and spent 10 hours trying to stay awake waiting for something to happen and nothing ever did. This is a dull drama series, with little horror and no scares, that flitters between different timelines. I regret not giving up after the first two episodes and moving onto something else.

Target
(2004)

Total boring crap
This movie at best would be a C Grade flick (no its not worthy of a B). The acting is emotionless and everything goes to plan a bit to well from start to end.

Charlies wife for somebody whose got the real threat of being killed by her captors looks more bored than scared.

Absolute crap save 90 mins of your life and don't watch it. The only decent acting was from the kids.

IMDb is making me come up with a total of 10 lines for my comment before it will accept it. As it is hard to put 10 lines together on such a crappy movie I've had to ramble for this last paragraph.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1
(2003)

WHAT CRAP !!!
OMG there really isn't enough words in the english language to describe what non-sensical absolutely ridiculous excrement this flick is.

What a waste of film.

It makes NO sense for the most part, people get various body parts sliced off and spray like sprinklers.

Absolutely ridiculous. If I had paid to see this at a theatre I'd be demanding my money back and barracading myself in till they coughed up.

Making somebody watch this film over and over would be my idea of a horrible torture.
