Intelligence
(2020)

Intelligence don't writers had alot
Not funny ,Schwimmer is perfect to play a fish out of water, but not if he is portraying an Ahole like he is in this . Supporting cast very good.

Hitmen
(2020)

What gives -it's Hilarious
I agree with one reviewer wondering if they are the only one liking this , I don't get the low ratings it be funny. Hope people give it a chance. Two BFF women are a hit team . Ahh poor spiderman.... man spider ?

Ad Astra
(2019)

I thought Alien: Covenant was a let down :Minor spoilers
Oh boy this is going to be good , all spacey and stuff , okay a bit slow (excellent special effects) >But going to get going any second , when does he stop the inner voice and do something. Okay off into space should be great , okay get passed bad guys and good effects , stop the inner voice it does NOT fit. Okay now we are on our way, wait until we find ( I Hope) Tommy Lee then watch out wait why are the light coming up did I fall asleep , well if I did did not miss much. Like the Blade runner inner narration the studio made Ridley add in , it does not fit, audiences are smart enough to get the inner turmoil with out it. Bored no revelation of what caused the initial problem that starts the mission. Also if message Pitt sends to his father was a scripted one by the government, why did they need him ? Tommy Lee's character would not know his voice and he did not add any special father son secret codes.

Alien: Covenant
(2017)

Dear creator protect us from more sequels
Ridley must have hit his head on a low slung boom mic. Hoping it would answer a few or even one question from rotten Alien Prometheus, but noooo. I am sure if you were to sit one on one with Mr. Scotthe would say, "You don't understand my vision" Nope I guess I don't .

Dr. Elizabeth Shaw said it best , if they seeded their dna on earth therby creating us , why then did they try and wipe us out? In the original 1979 Alien they find the Alien ship crashed with the pilots chest burst out, Out does that work in the time line if **************Spoiler BELOW************ David created the final form of the Alien hybridizing from original pathogen . Were did that come from it was on another ship that had similar eggs , but then .....David created and round and round we go. WHo did create the original pathogen the Engineers to wipe us out and start again , so thing go pop and the Engineers bite the big one, so the people who set them up said "Aww never mind we tried once, of here comes the ship back lets wave at it oh oh full of pathogens" Dumb Dumb Dumb

Sûpâ no onna
(1996)

Super Supermarket story
Not sure how one reviewer could call this stale, ? , I thought it was great , it suppose to be a nice gentle tale of two people and the market that brought them together. What I really can't understand is why Tampopo is not one of the movies listed at the bottom as recommendation. I don't think the ones that are there really fit , this is a fun movie and interesting to see the market and the behind the scenes operation. Wish I could see another like it, I wonder if I should just follow the director and see what he has done. My fav scene is the chase thru the market. Liked the oddballs standing up against the senior market guys.

The Loop
(2006)

One of the Best New shows
I never was into sitcoms in a big way but this show is great. Fast snappy dialog, and hilarious situations. Sarah Mason is the perfect ditsy blond (hot) and they always find some premise to get her to do a table dance. Bret Harrison plays the first of a group of buddies to get a "real" job, although you can not really count his brother Sully (Eric Christian Olsen)in that group because he will never get a real job , but he has tried several , making sandwiches on site, dog sitter. But the best is Sam's superior Mimi Rogers who is constantly making suggestive remarks to Sam , " Let's see how many times 25 goes into 40". Not sure who plays Sam's receptionist but she always gets off a great shot at the fact she is stuck in a job she is overqualified for.Co-created, co-executive produced and co-written by "South Park" writer Pam Brady and former "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" Will Gluck . Directed by Betty Thomas who brought The Brady Bunch to the big screen . Give it a try ! ************** Flash ! Flash The Loop Season 2 starts June 5/07 YEAH !***

The Forest Rangers
(1963)

Oh gosh why is this not on DVD !!!!
Never understood why when a series, simple as this one was, was filmed on FILM, rather than video tape, and the copies are in such good shape that no one has the brains to put them out on DVD. GO to : TVSHOWSONDVD.COM search for The forest rangers and vote to have it put out on DVD. You have to register but they do not send out any mailings, unless you want to be advised when certain shows are released. I remember one of my favorites was when the bad guys cut the phone lines to the cabin, and Zeek (?) had the idea to take the phone off the wall carry it into the bush find the phone lines and make a call from there , clever. (he he he he)

Horray for Joe Two-Rivers

The War Zone
(1999)

R-version, Unrated and Collectors Edition
Long back when this movie first came out I went to the web site for it, there I saw a scene, a video clip, not so disturbing at first until I fond out it was father and daughter. I had sort of forgotten about the movie until I saw Tim Roth's The legend of 1900 which I liked so I ordered the Unrated version. Just the other day I was looking at the IMDb site and went to the link to AMAZON. That is what reminded me of that clip. There is the highly disturbing scene at the sea side in some old WWII (I think ) bunker. While people have mentioned that this scene was not in the video edition, I just realized that the scene in the bath or bath house that caused the brother to challenge the sister early on and then video tape the scene at the bunker was missing ?? Maybe they left that one in the video and took it out of the DVD ??
